Outstanding quality of services and customer support
What do you like best about the product?
The porfolio of services covers all our research requirements. The stability and speed of the solution has not been compromised even once since we'd started using it on a daily basis more that a year ago . We've had a few questions when designing a very specific solution which were all immediately awnsered by the tech team. The integration with the remaining components was very quick due to very flxible configuations. The reach of the data analysis that we have obtained from the tools is unprecedented.
What do you dislike about the product?
We've not enountred any shortcomings with regards to the product, commnication or service therefore there is nothing that we could recommend to improve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bright Data solves our fundanmental issue of accessing large numbers of websites in search for disinformation. We need to be able to scan as many various media sources as possible therefore we cannot technicaly negotiate indivdually the terms of accessing data for each source.
WIthout Bright Data our scrappers are often not let in, blocked or severly slowed down after several requests. Bright Data allows us to bypass those restriction and increase our ability for data collection by orders of magnitude.

Really good support
What do you like best about the product?
The support team is really reactive. Every time I had to contact them, my issues were solved in less than 12h. It's really appreciated to be able to move forward with a provider that is so dedicated to his customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
The data collect industry is quite an strange/obscure one. More transparency would be appreciated but I think that's the way it is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Bright Data helps by passing bot detection services.
Very effective professional web scraping tool
What do you like best about the product?
Bright data proxies are very effective in preventing blocking.
The integration of the bright data tool in our pipeline is very easy.
We use it on a daily basis, with thousands of requests, without any problem.
The Bright Data dedicated support is also always on hand to help.

What do you dislike about the product?
No real downsides have been met for now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need to crawl millions of web pages about scientific publications, in order to map the scientific research conducted worldwide, with details about the authors and their affiliations. These pieces of information should be entirely public, but can be blocked with anti-bot systems. Bright Data Web Unlocker is very efficient to secure access to this information.
Really fast & good customer support
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and whenever I have a concern their support is really fast and comprehensive to answer
What do you dislike about the product?
If you use to a specific way of using their proxy, they will always answer to you with the curl request even if you provide another way to use it (axios / fetch)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping us in making sure that we are getting the data as expected
A professional company with a great product and admirable vision.
What do you like best about the product?
What they stand for. Their stance on giving "pro-bono access to leading data technology and expertise to drive positive change", is admirable.
Their product is also great. I haven't come across a better product in the data space.

What do you dislike about the product?
It's still early, but their data marketplace has not got a lot of grocery based e-commerce sites (only 1 which is Walmart US).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collecting a large dataset in a structured format, that would otherwise be very time consuming to do so.
Powerful and Robust Proxy Services
What do you like best about the product?
My experiance is that bright data has very reliable proxies services. I am confident of uptime, speed and technical proficiency of the services.
Another major thing about bright data is that it has excellent regional coverage. A benefit for my team is the ability to access more opaque juridicitions, especially China.
I have had very positive experiences with both customer support and the account managers at bright data. Everyone has been very kind and helpful in solving our problems.
There are a number of great features that we currently don't use, but I am very exicted to explore.

What do you dislike about the product?
I do find it sometimes challenge to configure security access for proxy zones that I intend to be used by a wide range of users/endpoints. For example, almost all my technical users also use VPNs simultaneously, so whitelisting IPs is something that is not useful and very challlenging. Occationally this has made integration a bit challenging.
I have also had a hard time using the cloud proxy manager. This is possibly due to my lack of knowledge in networking.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Brightdata allows us to do secure and obsucated data collection from almost any webstite at any part of the world. Its large converage or regions and residential proxies allows us to solve many major collection challenges that we encouter for our research.
An incredible IP proxy provider
What do you like best about the product?
I'll keep it to the point.
- IP proxy provider with high availability of service (up-time)
- smooth to use, and provides good data structuring and visualization features.
- spawning IPs over multiple geo-locations serves an important purpose of generating real-looking proxies, and prevents block by eminent websites.

What do you dislike about the product?
it is relatively in an earlier stage of development and adoption.
there's less to do with communities angle of this product, and less available integrations with existing softwares (e.g Jupyter notebook) which are incredibly useful in the workflows of data scraping
I am not very confident in trusting the current security norms of this software. Similarly, I feel less motivated to upload any personal dataset or to attempt connecting my existing critical apps with bright data IPs.

IPs for Data scraping - websites of today are strictly monitoring robot activity, and also exhibit different behaviour for different category of user.
Geo location based IPs, genuine looking IPs, and sophisticated implementation of Bright Data software, makes the entire workflow smooth and time saving.
On-th-fly or quick data analysis:
Scraped data can be quickly analysed for insights in Bright Data's portal. This is unlike other software experiences, where we had to do the tedious tasks of collecting/storing data at one place and analysing at other.

Network Proxies like never before
What do you like best about the product?
Data scraping across different geolocations, and over frequent time intervals is crucial in today's time.
For many use cases, even for the non harmful scraping, IPs get blocked, and the current online solutions of proxy providers are shady and unreliable.
Bright data very carefully addressed this sweet spot. With a comprehensive solution of IP addresses and advanced functionalities like IP rotation and precise geolocation targeting, Bright Data offers a potent solution for large-scale.

What do you dislike about the product?
Although it allows access to a good number of IPs, however the overall experience is still under development. Following issues should be considered:
- Improvements in overall security and user experience.
- Ensuring reliable up time. Launching thousands of IP workers and each computing complex operations demand a good focus on DevOps from Bright data''s end.
- many websites have started to get more intelligent in detecting bot IPs, and thus going forward, Bright Data should lay enough attention on circumventing this.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Launching and monitoring several hundred IPs for data crawling; pool of IPs to test our in-development websites, and sometimes we utilise proxies to ensure a secure our internal development environment.
Great platform to build software.
What do you like best about the product?
It's features and everything which brings the great features to build software and product review.
What do you dislike about the product?
Till now I have noticed nothing that is not good for us to build the software and product review.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's a reliable option for web scraping, data collection, and other web-related tasks that require high-quality proxies.
No need for manual scraping of websites
What do you like best about the product?
Bright data has already created scraped datasets and also has the capability to scrape datasets from any desired websites. This helps a lot in competitor analysis.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is not much to dislike about it. I just wish if I had gotten this product much much before so that we didn't have to go through the competitors websites and find the data for comparison.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Just the sheer ability to fetch data from websites makes a lot easier in doing competitor analysis. Really helps in solving this issue. Plus the interface is pretty easy to use which is really good.
