🚨 Avoid at All Costs – Worst 2FA Nightmare

What do you like best about the product?
Honestly, almost nothing. Their service is more of a burden than a solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
Bright Data’s 2FA system is a complete disaster. Logging in can take days, leaving paying users locked out with zero access. Their customer support is useless—ignoring complaints, offering no real solutions, and showing no urgency. It’s absurd how a company that provides data services can’t even manage a functional login system. This isn’t just frustrating; it’s outright negligence. If they refuse to fix basic access issues, why should anyone trust them with their data?
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Instead of solving problems, Bright Data is creating them. Their broken 2FA system locks users out for days, rendering their services completely useless. Any potential benefits are erased by the sheer frustration of simply trying to log in. A platform that makes access this difficult is more of a liability than a solution.

An Essential Resource for Academic Research

What do you like best about the product?
As a researcher at an academic institution, I’ve found Bright Data to be an incredibly useful tool for collecting high-quality web data. I used it to gather LinkedIn data for one of my research projects, and the platform was intuitive, flexible, and made it super easy to filter and find exactly what I needed. The variety of export options was also a big plus.
If you’re an academic—especially in the social sciences—Bright Data is a great resource for accessing different types of web data that can be applied in many research contexts. Several of my colleagues have also used it for their projects, and they’ve had similarly positive experiences.
On top of that, the support team and account managers are fantastic—super responsive and quick to resolve any issues. Overall, Bright Data has been a game-changer for my research, and I’d highly recommend it!
What do you dislike about the product?
The only caveat I had is that some observations got lost in the process of initial export, but the support team quickly resolved the issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Readily available data that I would need to scrape on my own. This saves lots of time and resources invested in data collection.

Super quick and super efficience.
You ask a question in few minutes you already get an answer and the problem solved

Actually nothing for now.
They have everything I need and if not I can ask them directly I'm sure to have an answer fast.

Customer Service is Top Notch

What do you like best about the product?
For someone who works in customer service and deals with a lot of people from different backgrounds, I must admit that their customer service is hands down.
From the beginning call of the account manager who tried to figure out my needs to the fact that once I started using the account and had a few questions, when using the product, I got aligned to someone in support (Adam), who right from the beginning helped me every step of the way. Set up a call to solve the last questions and got everything solved. It's not immediate to have this kind of assistance, I know as I've been testing quite a few systems lately, and they really are great. I highly recommend them and this is something I don't usually do. Keep it up you guys!
What do you dislike about the product?
Right now, nothing. They are currently working on implementing more scraping options and that's all one can ask for. Looking forward to seeing what else they will be able to come up with in the future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
LinkedIn multiple posts from companies and people. When working with big data (1k) manually is a lot of work. This way it checks it and I just extract what I need. Works for me.

Hard to say at this stage. Maybe some yt chanel will be helpfull to better understand all features

API option is cool. Allows me to automate some searching process and save time

What do you like best about the product?
I would like to share my positive experience of working with BrightData. This is a truly outstanding company that provides high-quality services at a high level. I was pleasantly surprised not only by the speed of their work, but also by the impeccable quality of service. They always find solutions faster and more efficiently than their competitors, which certainly makes them leaders in the market.

I would like to separately note the work of the support service. They are very responsive, always ready to help and promptly resolve any issues. This creates a feeling of confidence and trust that you can build long-term relationships with such a company.

I recommend BrightData to anyone looking for a reliable and professional partner.

What do you like best about the product?
I got very excellent data support from Bright Data. Their API is very easy to use and when I encounter some issues, they always provide me with timely technical support (even on holidays). I am very impressed by their service!)

maybe provide more explicit API documentation

What do you like best about the product?
Easy scrapers without coding are right for researchers from the humanities; data collection is simple and creates archives ready for research, it's fantastic

Not everything has ready-made scrapers, for example, newspapers; media is not downloadable directly

Allowing archive creation for research concerning democracy and democratic backsliding - a pressing global issue

Bright Data is a great platform which provides various data.
I really like the fact it can provide the data that I need to further advance my research project. The data is valuable and credible, which are important for advancing one of my research studies. The API is very easy to use.

I think Bright data is wonderful and didn't find a dislike fact yet.

I think Bright Data is providing the valuable data.
For my case, I need to use the data associated with LinkedIn profiles of employees, where Bright data provides precise what I need.
That is very beneficial.
