What do you like best about the product?
Mainly I'am working on "Web Transactional" type and it was very useful.

I don`t like interface , maybe need to change it.

Without Catchpoint we were flying blind. With Catchpoint its a whole new game for us.

What do you like best about the product?
There are so many amazing capabilities of the Catchpoint platform that it would be hard to list them all here but without Catchpoint we were flying completely blind. We were about to launch a global rebranded/replatformed website for our multi-billion dollar corporation without the ability to measure the true performance of the site from all around the world. With Google now weighting SEO heavily on performance we knew that we were risking our SEO position that we had spent building over the past decade. With Catchpoint's Synthetics reporting and the ability to view desktop and mobile from users around the world on real-world networks - we were able to demonstrate that our performance risks were minimal. We have sense added real user measurement and continue to build out high value dashboards that are used across our organization to proactively monitor, manage, and improve our websites performance. The Catchpoint team is also amazing. In my 40+ years in the IT industry I have yet to experience a customer support organization that is as helpful and as proactive as the Catchpoint team. Their customer success team has been a tremendous asset to us.
What do you dislike about the product?
There really isn't anything that we dislike about the platform. The only thing that we struggle with is carving out enough time to fully utilize the capabilities of the platform. It is a feature rich platform and we are only scratching the surface on its capabilities. But what we do use is invaluable to our success.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We really had no idea how our new website would perform globally and with Catchpoint we were able to identify performance issues prior to launch, and have continued to use the platform to identify bottlenecks and have addressed those issues resulting in an even faster website. We are discovering platform performance issues (hardware/networks), DNS performance issues, pinpointing specific elements (e.g., a large image that was loading on certain pages, slow Javascript, blocking external scripts), and specific geographies that have performance issues. We are also using the platform to fine tune our mobile version of the website - ensuring that we are meeting Google's targets.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
While there were other tools that we looked at, Catchpoint was the only tool that provided the depth and breadth of capabilities that we required to monitor our global presence on the web.

A great tool with a great support team

What do you like best about the product?
I like the tool but I like best the support that Catchpoint provides, it's super fast to get an answer and they keep in touch even after the ticket was closed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I don't feel the tool very user friendly. Once I had to contact support for a silly question like see the past runs of a script.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have detected production issues or issues with our testing cards thanks to this tool.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Provide more training on a higher lever, I mean a training for scripting. The training currently included in Catchpoint is mainly oriented to admins.

What do you like best about the product?
It is really easy to setup and use catchpoint.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not aware of any downsides. To be honest everything works like a charm and the catchpoint support is great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using local on-prems and data from the target countries for the websites, we are able to see issues that our users have visiting our web shops and are able to resolve if they're affecting our business.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Catchpoint can get cost intensive if you have to measure frequently, thus paying for the on-prem machines is far more cost efficient.

Catchpoint Synthetic Monitoring and Digital Experience

What do you like best about the product?
We primarily rely on Catchpoint for synthetic monitoring for both our internal and externally facing applications. It offers tremendous flexibility for both our operations teams and devops teams. Software aside, the level of support we receive from Catchpoint is always excellent.
What do you dislike about the product?
No specific issues or dislikes come to mind.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Early detection of degraded user experience is critical to our business. Catchpoint synthetic monitoring plays a key role in reducing our time to restore service and/or maintaining a consistent level of service delivery.

What do you like best about the product?
It has all the features and nodes I need and their support is fantastic and addressing my issues or creating new features for me.

Outstanding product and customer support!

What do you like best about the product?
The Catchpoint product is very easy to use and intuitive and has all the features I look for in a synthetic monitoring tool. And their customer support is out of this world. They typically answer calls/chats within a minute and the L1 support staff are very knowledgeable/capable. They follow up on a frequent basis for issues that cannot be resolved right away, and Catchpoint is always willing and eager to join ongoing incident calls if needed to help us troubleshoot issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am very happy with the product, but if there was one area I would like to see it improved, I would say the REST API could be updated to expose more information such as alerts and contacts through the API.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are executing synthetic monitoring against most of our top tier apps from both inside and outside of our organization. Catchpoint generally helps us narrow down on potential root cause such as network issues, data center issues, etc... very quickly. Catchpoint has very robust analysis capabilities to help slice and dic the data.

What do you like best about the product?
Lots of features to choose from, provide details that were not available with Dynatrace and the response time of the UI is very good, a huge list of location agents to choose from.
What do you dislike about the product?
As they have a lot of features, learning could take some time but you can get started very quickly as they would help you.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using it for performance monitoring of our applications.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The product is very good and will fit with most companies budgets.

What do you like best about the product?
Highly flexible and self-service oriented. Good scheduling abilities. Easy to understand billing model. Excellent coverage (node distribution across globe.) Ability to check DNS and routing alongside synthetic
user monitoring. Good integration with third party alerting tools. Easy to understand reports when issues occur offering complete drill down to root cause of issues. Option to host private on-prem and cloud node endpoints allow for use bother within network borders and not just external.
What do you dislike about the product?
Alerts could be more user customizable. Currently the format for alert email and API calls are relatively fixed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Synthetic user monitoring of web applications and APIs. Using Catchpoint it is easy to see and understand impacts to users in field.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
We found the tool to far exceed our initial use estimates and have ended up utilizing ity far more than we did with keynote because it was so easy to add new tests that we discovered all new use cases.
