Intuitive UI, Effortless Access Management
What do you like best about the product?
I love using Okta as it provides an intuitive and clean UI, making the experience seamless, especially with its Single Sign-On feature. All the applications appear as easy-to-find tiles after a single login, which means I don't have to remember different passwords or where to find my apps. I appreciate the ability to request access to an app directly from the Okta landing page, and it meets all the security and compliance needs for my job. Integrating Okta with all my essential tools like AWS, Zoom, Loom, and Benepass is fantastic, and the initial setup was incredibly easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Okta will log out automatically and I need to log in again. In some cases, the login process may be slow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I don't have to remember different passwords or where to find my apps. It makes the experience consistent and the access secure.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Okta is that it is very secure. It's a secure app that we definitely use, and the only way to get past it involves devices like the phone, using a fingerprint. So for me, I love the security of the device. I also find it easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that I did not care for with Okta was when I got logged off and couldn't get the information I needed for the app. I had to go through technical support just to get my info back.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Okta for multi-factor authentication, which is amazing and secure. It keeps all my login credentials easily accessible once set up correctly, making it hassle-free. The initial setup was very easy, and I love the security features like phone and fingerprint verification.

Instead of managing users and permissions in multiple tools, Okta provides a single source of truth for identity, reducing administrative overhead and errors.

It’s an authenticator app, and it doesn’t seem any better or worse than the others I’ve used.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don’t like that it’s cloud-based, because it makes me more concerned about security.

What do you like best about the product?
I used Okta for SAML integration through Single Sign-On across our multiple web applications. It was very straightforward to integrate Okta into our apps. By using Okta, we streamlined the login process for our users, so they don’t have to remember a separate login ID and password for our applications.
What do you dislike about the product?
If we don’t use the settings frequently, we tend to forget how to use them. Some advanced features are not always intuitive to configure and require time to fully understand.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Okta helps us address identity and access management challenges by offering a centralised way to manage user authentication, single sign-on, and access control across multiple applications. Before we adopted Okta, managing user access was largely manual and prone to errors, especially when people joined the company, changed roles, or left the organisation.
With Okta in place, onboarding and offboarding are faster and more secure, and access policies are applied consistently across our applications. Single sign-on has improved the user experience while reducing password-related issues, and multi-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security without hurting usability. The initial setup of Okta was more easy than challenging, especially for core identity use cases, with quick tenant configuration, pre-built integrations, and a straightforward MFA rollout.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing can add up quickly and is not always cost effective for small or budget-constrained teams. I also mentioned experiencing 'policy sprawl if not designed', and 'MFA Fatigue during early rollout'.

Setting up advanced policies and integrations can take time, especially for first-time admins. Clearer guidance, simpler workflows, and a more user-friendly admin dashboard would make configuration easier and faster.

I use Okta for secure user authentication and single sign-on. It reduces password issues, enables secure application access, and saves time by allowing one login for all apps. It's great for remote work and enhances security with multi-factor authentication.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Okta provides a good platform for users to securely access multiple apps with a single set of credentials. I appreciate the focus on security and IAM (Identity and Access Management), which are really valuable features for my needs. The initial setup was pretty much easy too.

I don't like that Okta’s trial dev instances expire soon. It would be good if the timeline could be extended.
