From 10 years of Salesforce.com to FreshSales
What do you like best about the product?
The strategic vision behind Freshsales is frankly brilliant. In my career I've implemented Salesforce.com in very large enterprises and used it in startups to midsize companies as well as Zoho and Highrise over the years. What caught my attention with FreshSales is the focus on providing extremely tight integration with FreshDesk and also providing website analytics so that sales people can be equipped with the data and monitoring of customer behavior they need to drive business WITHOUT having to spend a fortune attempting to integrate a bunch of point solution tools.

There is very little to dislike about Freshsales but the areas that are of most annoyance to me is the limitation of field types (check boxes) and the ability to more flexibly layout screens, That being said, in my limited experience with Freshsales, they seem very responsive to customer feedback and we've already seen other features get implemented quite quickly so I anticipate the screen issues will be addressed in due time.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have business operations in the USA, China, Europe and the Philippines. We needed a simple CRM platform that allowed us to easily get remote users to understand and embrace while providing room to to grow. Since FreshDesk is our primary customer support channel, having a CRM system that is easy to use and tightly integrated is very important to us. The territory functionality and access control has proven ideal for allowing us to manage our deal pipeline in the different markets we operate in. The integration with FreshDesk for email, social media and phone channels has absolutely transformed our business which is doubling year over year.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
When looking at any CRM, what is key to me is considering whether they have the strategic focus and understanding of customer concerns that matches your business. For us FreshSales/FreshDesk has that focus and vision as a rapidly growing business.
Simple yet powerful
What do you like best about the product?
We;re a relatively young company and have been using Freshdesk and have been very happy with Freshdesk. We've been looking for a CRM solution and are thrilled Freshdesk has introduced Freshsales. We've just started using Freshsales and are very happy with its simplicity yet power.
What do you dislike about the product?
Freshsales does not yet interface directly with Freshdesk though I understand this interface is part of the near term roadmap of enhancements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reducing the number of tools we are using so we have all information and visibility in one place.
The product is simple & easy to use. Cost effective and easy to set up.
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is very simple and minimalistic. Easy to set it up and the training for the sales team is very short. The interface allows easy monitoring of your day today sales activities and sales funnel management. The same tool helps in managing the accounts also.
What do you dislike about the product?
Since the product is in the initial development stages there are some minor issues which the tech team mentioned that they are working on it to rectify. So once these fixes are done the product will be seamless.

Sales Management, Activity management, Account management, Deal management, Appointment & task scheduling

Use this product if you are looking for a simple and user-friendly software to handle your sales, accounts & task management requirements.
Great User Experience & All in one tools for sales teams!
What do you like best about the product?
Great User Experience, was very easy for the team to adopt. Most important reason why we now rely on freshsales platform is due to integrated functionality of Email+Call+CRM. All in one integrated platform. As we use google mail so it was very easy to integrate and get started immediately.
Earlier we used additional tool for tracking emails which was integrated with our gmail accounts. With this inbuilt email tracking functionality provided by freshsales, it helped us to get rid of independent tool and have all the tracking right within the system.
It has helped to create a integrated environment for our sales team! Support extended by freshsales team was really fast in training and guiding us in exploring all the features!

What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to have a email marketing functionality or drip email or call marketing feature embedded as well. Also would love to see some gamification coming ahead in future!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We leverage sales tool to build our revenue pipeline. Our business focus is purely in B2B sales and marketing and due to consultative selling approach, every event that takes place over call or email is key information for us to build and nurture pipeline! Now it doesnt matter if accounts/leads are shared with alternate team member based on the business focus as he/she would have access to entiere history right within one platform. (That is one of very added advantage for us in long term!)
