What do you like best about the product?
Data democratization! Since DOMO started being used by our team all users in sales and marketing can quickly build their own card to answer a data question, or we can very quickly get the answer they need from my team. Magic ETL is a game changer for anyone wanting to transform data.
What do you dislike about the product?
If someone changes a card that you haven’t locked for changes it is very hard to “restore” to the original. It is hard also to find that spot that shows who changed the card.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allowing all our sales teams to view their results quickly, and accurately using personal data permissions PDP where needed

Hands-On with Domo: A Practical Review

What do you like best about the product?
I like how Domo brings all data into one place and makes reporting much easier. The ability to transform data using Magic ETL and SQL gives flexibility, while still keeping it user-friendly for building dashboards and visualizations.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Domo is powerful, sometimes handling large datasets can be slow, and complex transformations require extra steps. It would be helpful if performance and scalability were smoother for heavy reporting.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Domo is solving the challenge of scattered data by bringing everything into one place. This makes reporting faster, more accurate, and reduces the manual effort needed to prepare and share insights.

Intuitive UI, Effortless Data Integration

What do you like best about the product?
I like the intuitive UI of Domo because all of the features appear where you'd expect them to be. It's very well-designed software with a simple setup for bringing all of your data. The connectors, particularly the Snowflake connector, are well-designed. I also really enjoy being able to use the SQL tile and query our Snowflake instance directly from Magic ETL. The initial setup of Domo was very easy, and I'm happy that I can access our data from our Centralized Data Platform (Snowflake).
What do you dislike about the product?
The Mobile experience from the Mobile App. My data often doesn't display in the App. The issue that displays is 'Preview Unavailable'.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Domo to present data to stakeholders and create new data features. It solves accessing our data from Snowflake, simplifying our data integration with its Snowflake connector and SQL tile in Magic ETL.

I’m struggling with governance. When we first rolled out we had a lot users creating a lot of stuff that may or may not be junk.

What do you like best about the product?
Whilst working at MasterControl, DOMO was an innovative tool that helped present all client success-related data in one, streamlined dashboard. The bonus was that, as an Implementation Project Manager, I was able to keep track of burn spend, user adoption and renewal status in one single view.

What do you dislike about the product?
At the time of using, the interface was a bit lack-lustre but still functional for its intended purpose.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By collating all the data relating to a client, at MasterControl we were able to use the resultant dashboards to readily track usage of the platform by the client, align on invoice payments, review license subscriptions and much more, all in one simple view. The streamlined approach offered by DOMO helped reduce operational overhead on the Professional Services team, meaning they could focus on maintaining client success, driving real value, and retaining all clients.

What do you like best about the product?
Domo is my first data visualization tool that I have used in my career as a business analyst. The modules in Domo University made it faster to learn, and easier to adjust to.

Domo is a tool that I believe anyone could learn. Creating cards and dashboards is a breeze. It is also easy for internal users to navigate and to filter cards for information that they are looking for. I love how easy it is to export information into different formats like excel or powerpoint.

The Domo Forums feauture is also very helpful when looking to learn how to do BeastModes for different use cases.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that I have found I dislike when it comes to Domo is when you are writing a BeastMode, you are unable to select the Measure or Dimension from the dropdown list on the left side. I feel this would be easier at times than typing it out and looking for it on the on-screen list.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Domo is making it easier for users to visualize data with the large array of options there are in place for cards. The AI feature is something that our company is very excited to utilize in the future!

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Domo's mobile dynamic nature, which makes it easy for creators and offers a competitive price point compared to industry leaders like Tableau. The tool has significantly improved our data workflows and automation, enhancing team efficiency. I find the API capabilities most useful, as they simplify data exposure and reduce the need for business partners to manage APIs themselves, saving time and resources. I also value how Domo integrates well with other platforms like Facebook and Salesforce, facilitating easy data reporting.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Domo integrates warehouse, transformation and analytics tools into one product.
What do you dislike about the product?
Introductions of new features sometimes confuses the use cases for other existing features. Sometimes older features are neglected in favor of new solutions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Domo solves the problems of my organization in particular because of how many data sources we have and how disparate they are. Domo allows us to easily unify those.

No-Code Ease with Domo, Boosting Sales Insights

What do you like best about the product?
I find Domo super easy to use, especially for nontechnical people. It's really straightforward to learn the analytics side, which is great since the people creating visualizations in my team don't typically have a technical background. Using Domo's no-code platform makes it easy to train up the team, which is awesome for filtering and changing date ranges on cards. It's also been easy to train our salespeople on how to do what they need to do on the cards.
What do you dislike about the product?
I know that my team always has a hard time on launch day when new products come out. It significantly slows down the rest of Domo. But all things considered, like, that's a you know, once a month max problem. And it usually bounces back pretty quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Domo lets our sales teams easily access data and contacts in real-time on their phones. It's user-friendly for nontechnical folks, making it easy to create visualizations without coding and train our team on filtering and date ranges.
