User-Friendly and Incredibly Helpful for Centralized Data
What do you like best about the product?
I think it is very user friendly and helpful to see all data in one place.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would love more of an overview in the beginning maybe training modules.

Unlocks Powerful Analytics with Effortless Usability
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to use once you understand how to use it. It has opened up VERY useful analytics for us and our customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to learn. I am self taught with no domo univeristy, videos, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows us to show our customers their data visually so they can make more informed business decisions.
Powerful Features, Less advanced Visualizations
What do you like best about the product?
I really like Domo a lot and find its user interface to be incredibly friendly and easy to use, while still offering advanced features that other tools might not have. Compared to other visualization and transformation tools I've used, such as Power BI and Tableau, Domo stands out. I am especially impressed with the ability to use Python, R, and Jupyter Notebooks. Domo supports advanced users with an impressive list of features, yet it remains simple enough for beginners, making it a versatile tool for any skill level. Additionally, the automation capabilities Domo provides in managing tasks like PDP creation, unsharing, sharing, and data archiving are commendable, allowing a small admin team to efficiently manage the system. The setup for new users can be easily automated as well, making Domo straightforward and easy to manage once it's operational.
What do you dislike about the product?
The one aspect of Domo that I find could use improvement is the out-of-the-box visualizations. While they are good, they tend to be a bit basic in terms of their default configurations. Unlike Power BI, which offers highly customizable visualizations, Domo's default options don't always allow for fine-tuning to the extent I desire. Although creating custom visualizations is possible, it often requires coding, which demands time and effort I'm reluctant to spend. Additionally, I wish there was more robust security around app pages in Domo. This feature is relatively new in Domo, and while I expect it to improve over time, currently it lacks some security measures I'd prefer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Domo to create dashboards and resolve data discrepancies. It helps search for PII and automate data masking, enhancing data accuracy before impacting downstream teams.

I would like more flexibility in customizing dashboards and charts.

Real-Time Insights and Custom Dashboards Elevate the Experience
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate being able to access real-time data and explore it in detail. I also value the option to design a dashboard that is customized to my personal preferences.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sharing data sets can be a hassle, as it requires opening each ETL individually so that another user can gain access.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The platform makes it easier to understand inventory health by offering real-time, actionable data. This allows users to quickly identify any performance issues across various integrations, partnerships, and business units.
Calculated Fields Make Reporting a Breeze in Domo
What do you like best about the product?
The best feature in domo is we can create " Calculated field" - it allows to apply different logics and helps in preparing the reports and dashboards using custom fields.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing I can think of now. Everything is going smooth.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps in tracking performance of different Sales reps, the Map feature in graphs helps us to have a look at numbers on the basis of different locations.
User-Friendly and Powerful, But Limited for Data Scientists and Pricey
What do you like best about the product?
User friendly. Easy to create pipelines. Easy dashboarding. Easy data connections

Analyze function is limited for data scientists. Domo jupyter power is too low. Cost is a bit high.

Domo Makes Data Easy to Manage
What do you like best about the product?
Domo makes data easy. It has opened up the ability for me to dive into the data without knowing code.
What do you dislike about the product?
For some of my staff, it was hard to get started and they eventually quit. It was easier to go back to what they were use to. But I have been able to get over the barrier of entry and have been able to expose more in the ministry to data and became the go to guy for data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Domo allows me to get the data that should have been able to be given by my CRM. I now have the power in my hands to get what I need and answer the questions of the ministry
Versatile Platform with Powerful Features, But Visualization Flexibility Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate the overall functionality of DOMO. I don't see it as just another ETL or visualization tool; it offers much more. There are extensive possibilities for creating forms, building apps, and automating workflows, which makes it a versatile platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the visualization properties could use improvement, particularly in terms of allowing more flexibility for creating custom charts. Additionally, the WINDOWS functions do not seem to work as expected within the SQL tile.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
DOMO serves as a comprehensive tool that brings together data from various platforms, streamlining everything into a unified view. This makes it easier to identify trends and patterns, especially with features like Beast Mode. Now that I have learned about Workflows, I am definitely planning to use them to automate many of our processes. Additionally, the integration of LLM capabilities would be a significant advantage, further simplifying much of our analysis.
Great Dataset and Scheduler, But Pricey
What do you like best about the product?
I like how Domo easily connects multiple data sources and provides real-time, visual insights through intuitive dashboards.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be limiting for complex data transformations and custom logic compared to traditional SQL or code-based tools.
