Robust business intelligence tool, great for storing and manipulating data

  • June 19, 2024
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
ETL low or no code tools for data manipulation
What do you dislike about the product?
Navigation between dashboards and features is not the most intuitive. It can be hard to find things and a lot of clicking around to find what you need.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy data querying with no code solutions

Scalable, Secure, and Adoptable BI

  • June 19, 2024
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Ready to go API libraries and ETL data flows turn any diligent data professional into a wonderkin.
What do you dislike about the product?
They've really worked to make the fully featured platform affordable with the crediting system - support packages are steep however.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Domo allows me to automate data ingestion from a variety of social media, paid media, pr/comms media, and web analytics platforms. I bring them all together for a number of clienrs and build highly customized dashboards people actually want to use. This was a huge time savings, for a team of one, it was a game changer. Additionally, I'm able to leverage a number of write back connectors to move cleansed and normalized data wherever it needs to go.

What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing can be a bit steep for smaller companies.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting data in front of our principles in an efficient manner

Easy Display of Data

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the fact that you can specify exactly what you want. If I am looking for a specific percentage, it's super easy to pull and it's efficient.
What do you dislike about the product?
It was hard to learn how to use, but after a lot of practice, I got the hang of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It shows our facility data and helps us navigate marketing needs.

The tool works great, when it is not buggy.

  • June 19, 2024
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love Domo's ability to do the following
- Bring in many different datasources with ease
- Ease to manipulate data in ETL, explorer, and Analyzer
- Ease of sharing with the team
- The Account management team that I've met have been solid
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few things
- The design capabilities aren't all that great (Apps is a nice improvement)
- It's often buggy, slow load times, etc
- Very slow response times for support, even on urgent needs
- The 'freemium' model and the need to choose between consumption and the typical license model. I know that the consumption model will require a lot more upkeep (therefore management cost)
- PDF sharing/downloading is very bad
- The idea that managing statistics (i.e. DomoStats) counts toward the row count for pricing is very backward to me
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our business intelligence needs. It's bridges a gap between our teams and our tech team.

Domo Is A Great BI Tool That Has Everything Needed In One Place!

  • June 19, 2024
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
MagicETL that makes it easy to manipulate data, connectors to allow sourcing data from several places and real time reporting.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the features are premium only and the cost could be high if you have large data running in the platform. The push for consumption model is based on not making these features available which limits what can be done in the platform.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a need of managing large amounts of data, and for internal and external customers. Domo allows us to have all in one place, capturing data, manipulating and displaying it. It also allows our external users to have access to that data and receive scheduled reports that improve our service.

Super valuable data tool, but also sometimes a little clunky to use

  • June 19, 2024
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Domo has transformed how we use, interpret, analyze, synthesize, and make the most of our data. It really has been a gamechanger that has made us more data-empowered.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's not the most user friendly. (I am just a user who looks at data in Domo). Sometimes trying to change date ranges, different filters, etc. can be a little tricky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Domo allows us to share data with all stakeholders (both internal and external) in real time, allowing us to operate more efficiently and effectively

Great Customizable Platform

  • June 19, 2024
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The Domo platform has proven to be an exceptional tool for data management and analysis. Overall, it is a great platform that stands out due to its ease of use and a wide range of functionalities. It's user-friendly, good performance, data manipulations, connectors, ETL, sharing data and privacy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Areas for improvement are Statistical Analysis. Domo's Beast Mode could benefit from more statistical analysis functions (i.e. median function).

More chart options would enhance the platform’s ability to visualize data in different and potentially more effective ways.

The platform could improve its filtering capabilities by adding more options, such as the ability to hide specific dimensions or measures from users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Help my company with data-driven decisions. Manipulate data and merge from multiple data sources to get custom reports.

Great Software

  • June 19, 2024
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Their no-code/low-code solutions makes it incredibly easy to utilize for professionals that don't have extensive SQL/data science experience. The user-friendliness of the platform has allowed us to deploy the solution deep into the organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
We don't have any complaints with the software, it prefers incredibly well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Domo allows us to publish thousands of cards across our organization in near-real time. Prior to Domo, we were only able to report on ~20 powerpoint slides that would take up to 2 days to publish and be stale by the time they were published. With Domo, we have democratized the data which helps improve our organizational decision making, helps individuals evaluate their own performance and drive workflows for different functions.
