Positive experience, but need more tutorials / training to fully get the value of the platform

What do you like best about the product?
I like the clean interface, responsiveness, flexibility. ability to develop at a high level (as a non technical user) or with more technical features to get more out of the platform
What do you dislike about the product?
It is hard to know all the ways to use the platform / the full flexibility of the platform. I wish there was more upfront available training or tutorials. Even tutorials targeted at users for topics that seem applicable to them based on their usage of the platform
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allowing people across the company to access data. Allowing users across the company to do their own analysis, without having to rely heavily on a centralized data team

What do you like best about the product?
Fresh yet relevant. Well balanced all around design of technology, approaches, training, and best-practices
What do you dislike about the product?
No direct plug-in or connector to SQL Server
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Provide insights and models for our customers in the Freight Logistics space. Internal analytics to better inform costs and revenue balance/ratios.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
A mental shift worth taking from traditional BI models.

What do you like best about the product?
It's fairly easy to use and gain adoption of from non analysts. Domo has invested a lot into the development of their ETL data manipulation interface. It is very intuitive and easy to use with options for beginners, users with very little data manipulation knowledge all the way up to advanced users who write Python, R, SQL.
What do you dislike about the product?
Challenges with fiscal calendar functionality. We've also been slow to embrace App Studio because of the limitations with exporting the dashboards as a PDF and creating multiple templates for each of our brands.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We leverage Domo to combine social media data from all of the various social platforms for wholistic reporting of our social posts. We also leverage Domo to combine internal and external data .

What do you like best about the product?
I spent quite a bit of time evaluating a host of the platforms and BI technologies out there and feel in love with Domo due to its openness, ease of use and app ecosystem. Had used Tableau before and Domo easts its lunch
What do you dislike about the product?
Want to see more ability to do custom visualizations but they may be in process of solving this via the Adobe Illustrator plug in
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Using this platform to help stand up client facing data visualizations and dashboards.

What do you like best about the product?
What's great about DOMO is that its so easy to create reports. I'm often asked to aggregate data quickly, and this platform allows me to do so.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's almost too easy - I think it would be helpful to get recommended card reports so that I am not creating too many cards/cluttering my tabs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
B2B marketing, lead qualification, conversion rates, social media engagement statistics, etc.

Benefits: Actionable insights.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure to save your data in versions - there's no undo button!

Wide expanse of visualizations available, ability to combine datasets

Have run into some issues with data import categorization. Can be fixed w/ SQL.

Make up of development pipeline - where to focus time, energy, money, resources.

What do you like best about the product?
The interface is user-friendly, allowing you to develop a dataflow and clean/transform your data quickly and efficiently. I also appreciate that Domo continuously improves with new releases and listens to its customers and the Dojo community.
What do you dislike about the product?
The functions at the ETL level are really limited. Some cards need to add more functionalities.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Marketing attribution, customer journey, internal KPI reporting, any data cleaning and optimization processes

Domo's ability to customize data to provide actionable insights has greatly helped decision making in my organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
I hope for DOMO to continue to make enhancements to the product so that it can be easy and quick to share cards with various stakeholders.
