Domo is able to manage data from multiple sources, with room for improvement
What do you like best about the product?
Domo can handle large amounts of data, from multiple sources
What do you dislike about the product?
There is limited visibility to what others in the organization have already built unless it has been specifically sharted with you so time is wasted reinventing the wheel
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
connectivity between some systems
Pros & Cons
What do you like best about the product?
- Domo actually tries to apply feedback given in the community forum to updates/changes
- The Knowledge Base is a great resource for new users & training materials
- Magic ETL makes it easy to build dataflows with minimal SQL knowledge & has excellent features for denoting why dataflow features are in place in case anyone but the original user needs to revise/edit the dataflow
- The automated reporting feature is a great tool to encourage adoption

What do you dislike about the product?
- Updates/changes & their impact on existing dataflows are not well communicated, making the platform prone to "glitches"
- Customization of dashboard layout & filter options is not the best pairing for efficient use of space & end-user friendliness
- Customer support is relatively slow (but they do tend to positively resolve issues)

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. Domo allows us to report & visualize data for easy digestion of data & trends from platforms that are not accessible to everyone in the company.
2. Domo allows us to quickly analyze the relationship(s) between business variables that live in different platforms.

Excellent Data Manager and Visualizer All-in-One Solution
What do you like best about the product?
Built-in Connectors to Hundreds of Apps.
What do you dislike about the product?
Recreating simple excel formulas like If statements or Vlookups are not intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating reports automatically vs having to manually update Excel
Great Insights
What do you like best about the product?
I like the different views available to display data sets
What do you dislike about the product?
Shows duplicate opportunities in some reports, but this may be an issue with our Salesforce reports.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Domo makes reporting on marketing campaigns much easier.
Solid BI tool, lacks some sophistication
What do you like best about the product?
Relatively easy to learn and use, lots of out of the box connectors makes getting data in easy, and variety of visuals and functions available to make most calculations
What do you dislike about the product?
For complex dataflows, the drag and drop UI can become unweildy. Lack of easy, comprehensive SQL and Python support (without paying for add-ons). Product innovation seems like its behind by 5 years or so
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Centralized business intelligence tool and data warehouse
Great for visualization, okay for drilling down.
What do you like best about the product?
I like the flexibility of data inputs into Domo. The different visualization options are great for reporting to different audiences.
What do you dislike about the product?
Main difficulty that I run into is with drilling down into the data visualizations to see source data/calculations for each metric. It ends up being a little confusing when trying to see those specifics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data transparency and metric alignment. Making sure that teams across our organization are aligned with certain metrics and using the same data to base decisions on is essential.
Domo Data
What do you like best about the product?
Best about Domo is the quickness that data is available and ready for review. Arun Cumaraswamy was our main point of contact and made the onboarding process seemless and provided outstanding support.
What do you dislike about the product?
A challenge with Domo is the lack of ability to maniuplate data on the back end. If not already reviewed it is a challenge to add.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Domo is compling data across mulitple data points. I would need to calculate each data point indivdually but with Domo I no longer need to do that.
Easy to use, more to desire
What do you like best about the product?
I think domo is very easy to use. I think that Domo has created an amazing community with the Dojo and that helps make it easier to find an answer to questions that are tougher to answer. We frequently use Domo and it makes a lot of the reporting we do much easier. The ability to automate has made our work processes much quicker and very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Customer support. It is really hard to actually get someone from Domo on a call to help answer questions. There is somewhat limited capabilities in their card displays. On multiple occasions we have had to disinclude data from a visualization becasue there was too much data and all of it wouldn't display.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Domo makes automation of report generation very easy. Once a dataflow and the corresponding visualizations are built it is as simple making sure the data you have is updated and correct.
Good platform to analyze and visualize large volume of data
What do you like best about the product?
It is still significantly more useful than boring BI tools like Tableau and PowerBI, but it is not as intuitive as Datorama
What do you dislike about the product?
The data transformation layer has to be improved, it is not as good as Datorama
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I primarily used it to analyse marketing data, the connectors in DOMO help me fetch data easily and i do not have to worry about a database to store the information
The tool works great, when it is not buggy.
What do you like best about the product?
I love Domo's ability to do the following
- Bring in many different datasources with ease
- Ease to manipulate data in ETL, explorer, and Analyzer
- Ease of sharing with the team
- The Account management team that I've met have been solid

What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few things
- The design capabilities aren't all that great (Apps is a nice improvement)
- It's often buggy, slow load times, etc
- Very slow response times for support, even on urgent needs
- The 'freemium' model and the need to choose between consumption and the typical license model. I know that the consumption model will require a lot more upkeep (therefore management cost)
- PDF sharing/downloading is very bad
- The idea that managing statistics (i.e. DomoStats) counts toward the row count for pricing is very backward to me

Our business intelligence needs. It's bridges a gap between our teams and our tech team.
