What do you like best about the product?
graphs choices are very good and data columns and rows easy to setup.
What do you dislike about the product?
beast mode complicated. Many of the sql codes are not available. Error messages don't point to specific issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
production/manufacturing from sales to production schedule and output targets.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Give it a shot. Validate the sql you are putting in the system.
Fantastic product. Love the people in the company as well - they take customer success personally

Amazing way to visual data. Also easy way to connect different data in one place

missing some easy capabilities, but they were all addressed by users in dojo community ideas section
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Increasing sales and reducing churn. We are able to monitor these data in domo and see trend

What do you like best about the product?
For our purposes, the greatest feature lies in the visual aspects of Domo. Being able to see complex data sets in simple and effective graphs helps us to validate the success of our department.
What do you dislike about the product?
Currently, we don't have an efficient process of transferring raw data from excel sheets into Domo. This is more of an internal shortcoming. We may need to look into hiring an outside group/individual to help with the process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're finding correlations between departments. We're seeing how seemingly random data interrelates and how that is affecting our College at large.

What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to use. People that have never seen it before can get around. Adding/editing cards is still a higher level of training.
What do you dislike about the product?
nothing works. support is slow when opening a ticket. It can take months to resolve what seems from our side to be a simple ticket. Things that should just work...seemingly never do. It's FRUSTRATING!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Making decision making process easier based on unified metrics. Board of directors buy in.
DOMO user. Cool app.

Mobile Capabilty it works great on the phone

Not a lot of calculation options. Beast mode is not intuitive.

if you need to connect data together, this is your tool. There new connector with excel and powerpoint push them over the top.

not as many connectors are built out as they lead you to believe

we have been able to ramp up and make better use of our Salesforce by being able to have better insights
Recommendations to others considering the product:
don't hesitate to try these guys out, but they have great salespeople. be on gaurd when it comes to pricing

Domo is flexible and very easy to use. Powerful visual representation of data.

There are still quite a few bugs to work out.

Ease of access to sales reporting and sales metrics. Sales manager can quickly gauge performance.

Spend some basic time learning and then have fun seeing what Domo can do for you

sales and financial metrics against plan - easy view of performance to show leaders, bottom performers, etc
Domo for Data Needs
What do you like best about the product?
Domo stands apart in it's ability to connect disparate databases together in a seamless fashion for people who lack all of the SQL skills that would otherwise been necessary.
What do you dislike about the product?
While there are many good visualizations I wish there could be an ability to be more complex to meet all of our use cases.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're trying to solve data inaction. Where data is available but not usable to the people who need it in their hands in the immediate future.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you have data in multiple databases then Domo is a perfect fit for you. If you only work within one database then its benefits are drastically reduced although the visualizations and data storage features are still highly coveted.
A powerful tool that can bring life to your data
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to connect multiple data sources and the speed to response for our internal stakeholders. Domo is extremely flexible with adding transform layers on top of data sourced from cloud applications, on prem data warehouse, csv and excel files as well as many more. the visualizations are not a malleable as some other business intelligence competitors but it is serviecable enough to be able to tell a complete story about your data on a descriptive and diagnostic basis.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of advanced analytical capability, inability to tell a story through data (just multiple cards that a user has to tie together) and the lack of ability to tie in and ETL data quality and data normalization tool as well as metadata tracking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
WE have been able to quickly give our users insights into the pipeline waterfall with ease, use personalized data permissions to services up just the right data at just the right time. We are solving problems that allow us to understand profitability and we are solving problems where our executives need a singe source of the truth and optimizing efficiency.
