What do you like best about the product?
It's ease of use and UI/UX. I have a Master's Degree in Computer Science, but co-workers and peers of mine have little Data Analyst skillset, and still can use Domo to leverage insights.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can occasionally be hard to get customer service / technical support. But it's gonna better over the last year.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has majorly helped operationalize functions of our business by removing data silos across our teams. It's increased collaboration and consistent data use and governance.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate that I can get extremely granular into the data with Domo and that there is a huge range of ways to view and slice the data. I frequently utilize the data when making revenue decisions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Navigating Domo is complicated. I recommend getting effective training and onboarding to the program.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Domo allows us to view revenue streams and the origination of the dollars coming into each of our territories. We use it for forecasting and project development

What do you like best about the product?
It gives me insight about everything going on with my client base, data to share with clients, and how we're doing as an org. I love it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing, it's a great tool. I feel it does a good job providing the analytics necessary.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping me with data to share with clients externally, as well as data internally to help provide statistics.

What do you like best about the product?
It is aesthetically pleasing. The interactive interface is great. I use it almost daily. It is user friendly for the most part.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not like the fact that you cannot filter each row individually on cards. If I don't know how to do something, there is not much out there on Google.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating dashboards of data and removing the manual processes from me

What do you like best about the product?
Domo offers an extensive array of incredibly powerful and accessible graphics. It's easy to implement, and the community forum is active enough to be able to get an answer to most questions that you can't solve yourself.
What do you dislike about the product?
Domo's accessibility is also its downfall. In the pursuit of more accessible graphing and drag-and-drop functionality, many customisable and "seemingly" simple features are unavailable; I often find myself frustrated by the absence of what I would expect to be fundamental graphing functionality. e.g. the ability to plot data values against a generic timeline. Having used the tool for the best part of two years, I'm at the point where my head could easily be turned by a more fully fledged BI tool like PowerBI were it not for how embedded DOMO is in our organisation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automated Reporting: we struggle to get people to use our dashboards, but the dashboards look great nevertheless.

Robust BI Platform for Technical Users

What do you like best about the product?
1. Domo allows for the creation of tailored data experiences. As a Domo creator, you have great flexibility and control over what the user sees, and how the user can interact with the data.
2. It is easy to automate user managment on Domo, even at large scales.
3. It is easy to create new content on Domo. New creators can be trained with little effort.
4. Domo has an abundance of visualization types to answer the vast majority of business questions. There is also the option to create custom visuals with D3 Bricks.
5. Domo has excellent customer support, with teams available at all times to help with technical and nontechnical issues.
6. Domo has extreme flexibility with regard to ingesting and writeback of data. Tools like workbench, webforms, and file uploads make it easy to get data into the system. Email reporting is reliable and helpful.
7. Data lineage tools make it easy to maintain complex dataflows.
8. Magic ETL is straightforward to use and easy to maintain. Notes and comments can be left at each step allowing for documentation of rationale behind business calculations.
9. Smart text is very helpful for displaying the latest time of dataset updates, informing the end user of recency of the data.
10. Jupyter integration allows for sophisticated manipulation and visualization techniques.
11. Doc cards allow for the embedding of business procedures into Domo. Version history is included with this feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
1. There is a high start-up cost (capital and time) to establish a useful data warehouse.
2. Internal proccesses and procedures must be created and maintained to ensure that all Domo creators on the instance are creating cohesive content.
3. Once the schema for a dataset is created, it is hard to alter. Changing column names has a ripple-down effect though downstream content including datasets and cards, breaking content.
4. The alerts are relatively simple, preventing the user from creating alters / triggers on detailed data events.
5. Domo requires the use of a mouse, which slows down development times.
6. Domo lacks the ability to mass-edit content, applying similar changes to multiple cards or dashboards at once.
7. Dashboard management is clunky. The order in which dashbaords appear on the left ribbon must be determined manually. There is no option to rank dashboards alphabetically, etc... This is only a problem if the instance has many dashboards.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
1. Business facts: Sales, inventory, headcount, etc... Helps maintain and enforce a single source of truth.

3. Analysis: Efficient Staffing, YOY performance, geographic location of customer base, etc...

What do you like best about the product?
- Easy to pick up and get started for business users
- Plenty of connectors for ingesting data into platform
- Best-in-class data transformation and distribution tools
What do you dislike about the product?
- Lack of community support (being a smaller BI vendor, there are not a lot of resources)
- Hit or miss when it comes to connectors for newer software/applications

What do you like best about the product?
What I appreciate most about Domo is its capacity to empower different departments within my company, enabling them to be productive, well-informed, and decisive. Domo's user-friendly tools enable them to swiftly assess a few charts, gaining precise insights into the trends and metrics they're reviewing and identifying potential trouble spots. This not only accelerates decision-making but also enhances their ability to act promptly and effectively. Additionally, I find Domo's tools to be versatile, offering room for innovation, creativity, and robust solutions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Keeping up with Domo's frequent updates and new features can be challenging for users. Despite the availability of reference materials, understanding and effectively utilizing these new tools may require significant time and effort.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Domo has become an indispensable solution for our organization, providing valuable analytics, prompt reporting, streamlined task automation, and efficient data management. Leveraging Domo's platform, we create tailored dashboards, alerts, and automated reports, facilitating information distribution across all levels of our company. This proved especially vital during the transition to remote work, empowering us to maintain productivity and informed decision-making in challenging circumstances. What do you like best about the product?
Domo makes it easy to bring data together from multiple different sources and locations and present it in a way that's easy for business users to consume. The interface is very easy to use from a data engineer's perspective through to a viewer of dashboards. The ability to discuss the data in context via Buzz is a great feature.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a small number of admin related tasks that are not as intuitive or easy to complete as per the rest of the product, but this is only a minor complaint.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Domo has enabled us to bring data together that was not previously possible without some element of custom development/integration. This has provided a fundamental shift in how data in our organisation has been used. Confidence is building amongst users as they can see where data is coming from and how it has been combined/manipulated to produce 'the result'.
