What do you like best about the product?
Domo provides beautiful visualizations and allows us to join data from multiple sources easily. Domo cards are easy for Marketing to use and modify. Domo helps us transform data and uncover exceptions. Domo enables us to see trends in data more easily, and to perform more analysis and insight gathering.
What do you dislike about the product?
Domo is so rich in power and functionality, I wish I had 5 more people to develop new cards and apps. i'd like to be able to post comments on specific data points in the visualization to note insights or data anomaly explanations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We performed territory analysis using data from SFDC and DiscoverOrg to understand which states and verticals our existing customers are in, where are best prospects are located, and what suggested sales territories should have additional resources. We are using Domo to visually report our Marketing-Sourced, -Contributed, and -Influenced Pipeline for every member of the Marketing and Executive Teams. We're able to provide a single, easy to understand set of marketing metrics to everyone with collections and page filters. We're able to report more metrics more accurately for faster insights and decision-making. We're able to quickly adjust our spending on marketing programs based on what we can see in Domo.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Easier to use and implement than Tableau or Wave

Great product with a proven business value

  • March 14, 2018
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to democratize data; making it available to business users -- not only in the access of existing reports (aka cards) but also in the ability to create new cards.
What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest challenge isn't with Domo itself, but with the ease of selling the business on the benefits of Domo. Domo's biggfest selling point is its ease of use and its ability to simply the presentation of data / analytics to the business. Staff are hesitant to buy into this at first which creates challenges with adoption (at least initially).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to aggregate data from multiple data sources and present the data in ways that are readily digestible by business users. This includes the ability to understand the current state of the business and obtain smarter, more actionable forecasts.

New user in implementation

  • March 14, 2018
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
DOMO has proven to be the most user friendly of the BI tools that we have trialed, and the support and coaching that we have received has made implementation very smooth.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are times that importing and transforming data to a usable format for our end users requires more expertise than they have, and this results in frustration on their end
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are eliminating our excel and paper reporting and cleaning up our data collection practices, which has allowed us to focus less on finding out what is going on in our business and more on how we can improve
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use the trial, ask questions, reach out for support

Much more than a data visualization tool

  • March 14, 2018
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Domo is far more than just a data visualization tool. While it excels at sharing data with non-technical users and enabling them to explore and analyze the information, Domo offers much more. Its workflows, variables, built-in AI functionality, and user-friendly app studio can replace tedious manual tasks with efficient processes that blend automation and human verification. Additionally, its robust governance tools allow for easy management of permissions and content access by roles or groups, rather than individual users. Domo continuously optimizes and enhances its features to stay ahead of technological advances and evolving trends. Plus, their customer support is outstanding.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing. Domo is an excellent tool for our business.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Combining data from multiple sources in an easy-to-use platform for our users and leaders to make more informed business decisions.
