Powerful KPI Insights with Flexible Metric Views

  • January 15, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Domo has so many options for viewing different metrics and KPI's that really gives good insight into the core business resources.
What do you dislike about the product?
The amount of data that appears on some screens can be overwhelming to parse out and learn what to look for, but I don't know if that's a Domo thing or just the way our corporate managers have set it up specifically.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is particularily helpful in determining job costs and margins and where there may be problems or issues in production.

Domo from a Transitioning Career Perspective

  • January 15, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Great environment as someone switching careers from design into a data-centric position. I've learned so much about data wrangling, data transformation, and really been able to enhance my design skills through the data visualization tools available.
What do you dislike about the product?
Transitioning our non-profit instance into a consumption-based model has been a bit rough. Conversations with staff have flip-flopped across several different people and it's a bit anxiety-inducing as our current contract is coming up. We don't have large staff so as much as I like using the product, this potential transition is scary, especially if we can't renew our contract as a result of increased cost.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This is a great way to join data from multiple platforms, big and small. We're able to reconcile data between platforms, visualize data, and have real time updates for our users.

  • January 15, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Getting up and running within Domo is quite easy, and I appreciate their low or no code options.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some connectors are not as robust as needed. Some do not pull in all the data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Domo improves visibility and centralizes data from various platforms, making setup easy with low or no code options.

Flexible Reporting, Apps, and API Power

  • January 15, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Flexible tools to create reports, pages, apps. Flexible API.
What do you dislike about the product?
Feels like we lose some control over large datasets. Upserting can be hard; upsert ETLs have awkward restrictions like no recursive logic; I don't think we can customize indexes yet upserting sometimes requires indexed columns. The latest version of Workbench (a web UI) should also be offered by Domo instead of only self-hosted as it solves some common use cases like having multiple users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reporting large amounts of data to diverse audiences. Applying dynamic row-level data security. Triggering alerts for critical data changes.

Easy to Use, Highly Customizable

  • January 15, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use Domo for my job as a BI analyst, and it helps us pull data from all our different sources and display it in a clean way all in one place. I love how easy it is to use and learn. It has been really valuable because if Domo doesn’t natively have a visualization I’m looking for, I can build a custom one. I enjoy that Domo gives us the ability to create our own apps inside of it. I've built a custom home page, custom visualizations, and many other things using pro code apps.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to see some more governance around App Studio apps, specifically mapping app pages to the parent app and the ability to give users access to specific pages within the app.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Domo helps pull data from different sources and displays it cleanly in one place. It's easy to use and learn, allows building custom visualizations, and supports creating own apps within Domo.

Simple to Learn, but the Consumption Model Gets Expensive Fast

  • January 15, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how simple it is. I learned it on the fly when I started at my company in only a few days.
What do you dislike about the product?
The consumption model can quickly become very expensive relative to other platforms.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
DOMO embedded apps has greatly cut down on time and money necessary to build and maintain reporting in our customer portal. It also makes creating reports for stakeholders significantly easier than trying to fully create our own analysis and graphs/charts without good software.

Steep Learning Curve, Needs Engineer Support

  • January 15, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that Domo makes the data easy to read once set up. The layout seems to be the easiest part to handle.
What do you dislike about the product?
For the non-computer engineer, Domo is a difficult hill to climb. I'm not super tech savvy and feel like we need to have an engineer on staff to make the most of the platform. Connecting data, using Domo to calculate things, and formatting are particularly challenging. The initial setup took months for just one facet of our needs.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Domo to take data and create scorecards, tracking performance efficiently. It streamlines multiple reports into a concise format.

Easy to Learn with Great Visualization Options

  • January 15, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Fairly easy to learn and great visualization options. Lots of new features that come out regularly. Customer Support is easy to interact with and quick to respond. I use Domo every day for work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Uncertainty of cost for use of different features. Lots of bugs since updates are being released constantly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Commercial business intelligence reporting, sales data analysis, automation for alerting and emailing. As a data analyst, Domo has been great for automation so I have more time to complete other tasks. Reporting is made much easier with the implementation of apps.

Streamlined Data Insights with Room for Improvement

  • January 15, 2026
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like how Domo allows for quick, automated, real-time data access that everyone can see and work on together, ensuring we're all on the same page for optimizing our marketing. It's easy for those without data backgrounds to understand how to build and use data. The data I can get and use is really limitless with Domo, and I can put all my data together to get a complete picture from both the technical and business sides. Domo is much easier for non-data specific users and offers better real-time data compared to what we used before. The initial setup was very easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes Domo has bugs. I want my documentation from one column to follow through all of the ETLs with that column. I want better visibility into my cloud connections and ensuring things are running correctly from Domo. I want sandbox and dev to talk better to each other. I want the run times to be automatically synced between instances and I want better governance between my instances directly from Domo rather than having to create them myself.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Domo allows for quick, automated, real-time data sharing, helping my team stay on the same page. I connect to various datasets, creating dataflows and dashboards to evaluate marketing and accounts effectively.
