Good for small, scrappy teams/businesses
What do you like best about the product?
-Incredibly easy to connect to a multitude of sources/systems/databases
-Chart/dashboard building tools are easy to use
-UI is pleasing overall
-Security management is decent for small businesses

What do you dislike about the product?
-Scalability. Meaning that while Domo is super easy to use, it means it's also super easy to make a mess of your instance. Everything about Domo prioritizes speed and ease of use instead of scalability and following best practices
-Data modeling really isn't a thing
-Pressure to use no/low-code MagicETL instead of SQL dataflows, which have stopped receiving updates and aren't even using modern versions of MySQL (e.g. you can't use window functions)

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Domo's robust data visualization and real-time updates. It consolidates data from various sources, providing a comprehensive view of email performance. The customizable dashboards and detailed reports help communicate insights effectively and drive data-driven decisions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Domo has a steep learning curve for new users and integrating it with niche third-party tools can be challenging. However, its advanced analytics and visualization tools make it worth the effort.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Domo solves the problem of data fragmentation by integrating with tools like HubSpot, providing a unified view of our email marketing metrics. This consolidation allows for real-time tracking and in-depth analysis, enhancing our ability to optimize campaigns, improve engagement, and make data-driven decisions efficiently.
Solid BI tool, lacks some sophistication
What do you like best about the product?
Relatively easy to learn and use, lots of out of the box connectors makes getting data in easy, and variety of visuals and functions available to make most calculations
What do you dislike about the product?
For complex dataflows, the drag and drop UI can become unweildy. Lack of easy, comprehensive SQL and Python support (without paying for add-ons). Product innovation seems like its behind by 5 years or so

Domo is very intuitive and easy to use. The user interface is easy to navigate through

The mobile app could be better. Besides that no flaws so far.

Domo is regularly releasing new features and tools that are well developed and truly improve our business practices.
What do you dislike about the product?
Domo's layout and design tools can sometimes be ridgid. It would be nice if more advanced designers could have more control over layout.
Domo also does not have a good method of printing visuals. Printing is a lower prioiry need in our buisiness, but when users really like a visual it is a logical step for them to want to use them in print.
We could also find value in this as an invoicing software.

Automated data pipeline and report generation.
We do not have a centralized data warehouse, "Truth" lies between many systems.
Domo allows us to constantly have an accurate view of our business without manual effort or human error.

Good Platform, Room to Expand Functionality
What do you like best about the product?
It is incredibly user friendly and intuitive. Learning the platform from scratch was simple and I was able to build effective visualizations in a short period of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some functionatlity can be glithcy, or there can be things that you have to just learn "the domo way" in terms of workaround or their intricacies. Also managing licensens can be tricky.

What do you like best about the product?
As a BI professional with over a decade of experience, I have worked with many different BI tools. Domo surpasses all of them because there's seemingly no cap to what you can accomplish. It is very easy to self-administer the system, and it even has its own data warehouse which provides us with efficiencies. I especially love that the instance is so customizable, with brand colors and HTML bricks. As an organization, we have come to really rely on the tool and use it all day, everyday to help drive decision making. Whenever we have issues, our illustrious client team always helps us to think outside the box and come up with a great solution. All in all, I am very pleased with my experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, obvious enhancements would make life easier in the system, such as being able to sort preview results. The chart properties layout isn't always intuitive, either—there are so many options that it becomes hard to know where to find certain options.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving client churn but examing the factors that may drive a churn in retention. It also allows our teams to work collaboratively since we are a distributed workforce. Finally, we are able to make product-related investment decisions based on performance.
Great for visualization, okay for drilling down.

I like the flexibility of data inputs into Domo. The different visualization options are great for reporting to different audiences.
What do you dislike about the product?
Main difficulty that I run into is with drilling down into the data visualizations to see source data/calculations for each metric. It ends up being a little confusing when trying to see those specifics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data transparency and metric alignment. Making sure that teams across our organization are aligned with certain metrics and using the same data to base decisions on is essential.
Great System that helps speed Month end close process
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Domo is easily able to go with whatever my needs are. If I need to filter, Sort through my companies mant warehouses and locations or uplaod a CSV to Netusite, the process is very simple yet effective. Domo was very easy to implement across all departments in our company - Operations, fiannce and sales all equally use the system daily. The frequest use allows us to catch small mistakes or errors and quickly correct for our customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that sometimes all line items dont show on downloaded exel reports. You sometimes have to download multiple times or transfer to create more than 1 sheet within the excel . Also, customer training for usage could be a little better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Domo is solving the ability of my company to have one platform house all vital information in one place.

What do you like best about the product?
Our leadership team relies on Domo for accurate visiblity into the business. With the customization and ease of use that Domo provides, we are able to accomplish that. The simplicity of connecting databases is also a huge bonus.
What do you dislike about the product?
In some situations, a beast mode is required to filter out rows of data- specifically rows that don't have data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Domo is providing insights into key metrics for our board of investors and leadership team. By leveraging PDP, Domo also provides unique access to data for our partners which has been a huge help in reconciling certiain information.
