Domo: Where Real-Time Exactness and Adoration Collide in Data-Driven Encounters
What do you like best about the product?
I venerate everything almost Domo, but particularly how exact the real-time experiences are. We needed to urge information from a few innovations we were utilizing. And there Domo was. What do you dislike about the product?
Client benefit could be superior. In spite of the fact that the Domo help team was fabulous, it wasn't basic. When we complain, they continually endeavor to offer us their premium back choice whereas the helpdesk is basically useless. Information authorization configuration could be a bit dubious at times. There's a procedure to maintain a strategic distance from having to create a moment dataset and pay an expense, but by and large talking, it's a fundamental step.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They were among the pioneers within the BI industry. The complete information structure and framework may be pretty readily overseen by one individual. The choice was a simple one to form of the moo administration costs, straightforwardness of utilization, and constancy of Domo. What do you like best about the product?
Domo is great for sourcing data from various inputs, blending, designing informative data visualizations and delivering to end users. The data lineage and administration tools allow a small team to manage large complex data pipelines.
What do you dislike about the product?
Creative design on visualizations and dashboards can be tedious. Many steps need to be repeated for every element across similar visualizations. There is no option to design a theme and apply globally.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Domo automates the data collection and calculations for company wide productivity reports.
This saves countless manual hours and improves consistency across departments.
We also use Domo ETL and visualizations to quantify and solve complex operational challenges.
Domo tools empower us to investigate and resolve technical issues internally without the need for costly custom software development.

I would recommend Domo!
What do you like best about the product?
Domo is a self-service BI tool. It has the features and abilities to solve any problem our team has, but at the same time is intuitive enough for business users who are not technical. This means that our team is not a bottleneck to gaining insights - anyone with a license can create their own content to make data-driven decisions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cost. Domo is more expensive than other BI tools. I think some of that cost is justified, but it is hard to make the case for Domo to a CFO. Total cost of ownership is lower because Domo is an end-to-end BI tool, but it is tough to convince a CFO of that unless they are open to the idea of total cost of ownership (resources needed beyond technology to deploy and maintain the tool, cost savings from not needing a separate ETL tool or data warehouse, etc....)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Domo is helping solve all of our business problems. Anything that needs data to drive a decision can be solved with Domo. We also use Domo to automate processes and manage by exception. It helps us generate reports, reconcile systems, spot errors, etc...
The Ultimate Data Experience Platform
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about Domo is how intuitive and user friendly it is for both the content creator and the end user. I also love the community Domo is working to build. I have made some great connections with awesome people through the community, and I have Domo to thank for that.
What do you dislike about the product?
The thing I like least about Domo is how much they try to create new things, sometimes they try to create too much unfortunately leaving some products to the side.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem Domo is solving is getting our data in the hands of our employees and letting them visualize it in an easy to digest way. Once you give someone a small piece of data that they can understand it becomes a snowball and then people start understanding the importance of Data Culture in the business.
Great Visualization Tool
What do you like best about the product?
How easy it's to build different types of visualization and swith between both while building cards and while using them. Ingesting data from different sources where an OOB connector is available is really simple and works great and the variety of options on how to transform data depending on your needs adds versatility from simple cases like plain joins, to more complex scenarios using SQL.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is no concept of linked datasets, so you cannot navigate across related objects to retrieve fields that are stored in different datasets that might need to be displayed in the same visualization, you need to build a view each time this might be needed, which often can be confusing when others are trying to build their own insights without knowing which one to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It simplifies the way data is presented to stakeholders, allowing them to easily slice and narrow down the data being shown on their own based on the business question that they need to answer, without having to wait for us to build an entire new card that will only be used once to answer that question and then forgotten.
I have been using the Domo platform for over 5 years and it is very powerful and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Domo makes it very easy for non-technical users to develop advanced ETLs and easily combine data from multiple datasources. Visualizations can be created in just a few minutes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like to see further development in their machine learning module to better predict outcomes. Their MySQL implementation is out of date and has no plan for upgrading.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We purchased to Domo to provide our members with a robust analysis tool that provides them with better insight into their claims data. This allows them to gain a better understanding into what types of claims are the most impactful and what risk management strategies they can develop to mitigate these risks.

Domo is the best in class!
What do you like best about the product?
Domo is the all in one cloud BI solution perfect for tiny companys and large enterprises both! Domo can be implemented with minimal staff and infrastructure.
What do you dislike about the product?
The company isn't always good about publishing release notes and the pricing models tend to change often.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I've used it for helping schedule parts purchases for large machines, calculate cash forecast for software companies, display consolidated financials and schedule union carpenters. It's great for everything@
Easy to use, especially when sending reports to C-Suite employees.

It takes a little bit of time to get to understand the ins and outs of, but that's true of all data visualization tools.

What do you like best about the product?
Domo is just solid. It is the BI platform I always end up going back to. And the more Domo improves, the more I am able to replace other software we use with Domo functionalities. You can end up blowing a few stakeholders' minds
The bar of entry is low, but the skill ceiling is quite high, which is exactly what I would be looking for. The Domo support is also fast and reliable.
The data governance, security, MagicETL, and overall suite of Admin features is just fantastic!

What do you dislike about the product?
There are a couple of downsides; cost is high, and you might need to find creative workarounds sometimes. But it seems to me that those times happen less often than with other platforms.
Tech also takes some time to get implemented; the Data Science suite is still young in some aspects.

Domo helps us break down data silos, helps us analyze and clean massive datasets, and allows us to implement data governance and management processes that make the overall data quality much higher.
