Exciting Possibilities with TAS

What do you like best about the product?
We've just scratched the surface with our implementation of AudienceStream so far. The more the team digs into, the more we see the possibilities. Looking forward to crafting additional use cases and seeing the ROI from the tool flourish.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's definitely more technical than originally anticipated and we're now realized that we'll need to pull in more technical resources to support our usage of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are moving from only profile based marketing and targeting to engaged based and personalized marketing to retain and delight customers.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Build out your use cases and plans to use it and then work in all the integrations!

Tag Management for Marketing

What do you like best about the product?
I like the number of out of the box tags that are available. Every new tool we add to our tech stack will most likely already have a tag in Tealium ready to deploy.
What do you dislike about the product?
In our company we need the support of IT to still deploy tags which makes a huge bottle neck.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data collection is much easier through IQ. It helps us make data driven decisions once we have the right data collected.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you have a strong team behind it, as your digital assets grow it is important to grow IQ with it.

What do you like best about the product?
I equate digital tag management to the Wild West - there are far too many players and ways of tagging that it makes the digital tagging space too chaotic. Tealium IQ Management helps to focus our tagging efforts and make it far more efficient to create and manage tags.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far there is not much to dislike. We have not found any major issues with the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is providing a unified tag management environment. It allows us to concentrate on the strategy rather than the implementation.

Engage with Tealuium Professional Services to get off on the right foot.

Makes global expansion a breeze

What do you like best about the product?
When we moved from our old tag management solution to tealium, we quickly discovered the ease with which we can expand globally. With over 400 sites, our focus was/is global governance and speed to market- and with tealium we were able to rapidly expand and implement the tag management solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much i dislike about the tool. We are amidst the rollout of another tealium product (audience stream) and have chosen to go down this venture because of the success we're seeing with IQ.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The benefits we've seen are routed in the ability to centralize global governance and consistency.

Easy to Use, Easy to Access Daa

What do you like best about the product?
I like that the user interface for defining audiences, enriching data, and actioning on the data is intuitive and easy to use. They just launched a redesign and it is even better now.
What do you dislike about the product?
No real problem areas, it works great for us. There was a brief bug where the audience connector to Facebook wasn't working as expected, but that has since been resolved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are stitching across offline and online marketing channels for detailed and full-funnel attribution to optimize our marketing spend. We're also personalizing the experience on the site based on audiences -- starting with geography, and getting more advanced.

What do you like best about the product?
It may not be the case for everyone, but I like that it integrate well with TealiumIq and is additive and not just complementary.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's a lot of capability so that can be a little overwhelming at first
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Kind of like it says on the package, we're using it to better target our audiences by defining them and leveraging AudienceStream to learn about them.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Know what you want to do. Really know what you want to do. It will help you focus on what you want to accomplish.

What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility to create and modify features and configurations easily in real-time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Higher than expected error rates and data loss via firehose connectors; no QA environment to test new integrations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Connector integrations in place of in-app SDKs resulting in smaller footprints for apps as well as less app development work.

What do you like best about the product?
Tealium AudienceStream is enriched with data from all sources, which can be easily identified, then can be put to precise and productive application through your advertising and martech platforms for real-time optimization.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tealium AudienceStream takes a dedicated resource to commit time to learn AS; to establish a sound foundation for interconnectivity between iQ and AS; and a dedicated resource to optimize and maximize AS for all of your customer and prospect intelligence and engagement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tealium AudienceStream is helping to solve for
1) personalization in all engagements
2) informing the enterprise with data to make data driven decisions
3) incremental business growth within acquisition spend goals

The benefits include finding signals for
1) new product development
2) new customer types
3) new markets
4) new sources of fraudulent or risky behavior

My recommendation to others considering Tealium AudienceStream CDP includes
1) take your time understanding your goals with a CDP
2) understand if your goals align with the results that Tealium AS CDP can deliver
3) consider the value of organizing and enriching your data as benefits to the AS CDP
4) commit to learning about and growing a team around maximizing AS CDP

Tealium UDH is Integral to Gap Inc Data Collection & Governance

What do you like best about the product?
We now use all products in the Tealium Universal Data Hub. It's incredibly powerful to manage data collection and syndication from our web properties in one central tech solution. With Tealium, we have standardized the data layer across all Gap Inc brands, centralized tag management with iQ, enabled robust on-site personalization and external marketing with AudienceStream, reached global compliance goals with Consent Manager, streamed data to our internal Data Warehouse in real-time with EventStream, and much more. What I appreciate even more than the seamless integration between each product of the UDH, is the industry expertise that comes with your Tealium account team. Not all vendor support teams are willing to go above and beyond to help customers succeed. Tealium has been willing and able since day one.
What do you dislike about the product?
Tealium is not always a multi-user friendly interface, though they have made strides to change that. With a company as large as Gap Inc, with multiple brands under one umbrella, we have multiple user groups within the tools. It's been difficult to manage change promotion and collaboration across multiple parallel users effectively.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Thus far, we have focused many of our AS use cases on on-site content personalization via AS & Optimizely connectors. This fiscal year, we are also focused on migrating much of our email marketing segmentation strategy to AudienceStream.

Audience Stream is an AMAZING CDP, but it takes work

What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can do pretty much anything with AudienceStream. It's a very flexible tool that can bend to meet pretty much any use case using web data.
What do you dislike about the product?
AudienceStream can be difficult to use. It is def. more a data developer toolset than a marketer toolset, but a techy marketer could get the job done.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our first use case for Audience Stream was to trigger a real time Abandon Cart email. It was a simple use that showed the power and flexability of the tool. From there we have been able to create a dozen or so programs around the data that feed into pretty much all of our marketing channels and tools. We could not get anywhere close to where we are without AudienceStream.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The truth is, any CDP you choose will not be a silver bullet. It takes a lot of planning, coordination and communication to implement any CDP across any organization. If you go full stack on Tealium (Tag Management, Audience Stream, EventStream), it makes it easier to manage the data going in and the data coming out, but it's ganna take work.
