  • December 06, 2018
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best?
UiPath is very intuitive in comparison to other similar platforms. In general is veyr complete as well.
What do you dislike?
Maybe the Logs should be more easily traceable, meaning that you can find the problem faster.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have automated processes from different fields: accounting, finance, HHRR, sales, etc. The main straightforwad benefit is the time saved.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
More activities for Excel and Word

The Market's Most Extensible RPA Platform

  • December 06, 2018
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best?
Front and back office capability. Technology partner-driven ecosystem of applications to integrate with. Accessible control centre as web app, facilitating large-scale solutions. Integration with source control. Extensive free training materials and comprehensive accreditation programme.
What do you dislike?
The current licensing model means that front-office or agent-based systems are prohibitively expensive. Due to its flexibility, it requires a slightly more technical team to operate and defined standards and best practices are required in order to produce automations across medium to large teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automation of mundane tasks, improved moral of workforce, cost savings, driving digital transformation and customer-centric business models.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is an extremely capable tool that should meet all of your requirements. Invest in good infrastructure, a source control system and technically capable people that are able to engage effectively with business teams.

What do you like best?
The UiPath Community is very supportive and the documentation is extensive.
What do you dislike?
The code editors on the GUI can be difficult to manage when there are large chunks of code.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are automating a process that involves reviewing a form and uploading results to different systems. When it is finished, it will have the potential to increase a reviewer's efficiency by 200%.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Follow the best practices guide outlined by UiPath

What do you like best?
Special thanks to Supporting team who have solution always when required.
What do you dislike?
As i am from infrastructure guys getting orchestrator upgrade always making our production down time is a big challenge.
It should be a patch update rather than updating whole Orchestrator.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Finance application automation with reduced cost and with high availability.

UiPath - Unique experience

  • December 06, 2018
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best?
It really helps you learn code, use lambda and other sophisticated code functions.
You can learn about different types of variables and implement them with ease in UiPath.

Play with activities, use try catch as a visual form, which is really great.

Implement state machines that control the entire automation, use invoke activities that enable reusable modules.

Debug with step in and step out functionalities and watch how the work flow or sequence is executed.

Create dynamic selectors and fully control every aspect of an website or application.

Convert image to text, click to text activities based on OCR, which are very nice optimized to run fast and be light on the CPU.

Awesome.
What do you dislike?
The debugger can sometimes crash because of the memory exceptions while working with big data.

"Remove unused variables" can erase your variables which are not "linked" in the flowchart. Could provide an warning about this.

Write in excel file is not quite simple, might be improved to be easier to understand and deploy. Hints that you can output an entire data table can be added as new comers tend to be stuck and search for a solution on the community site.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With UiPath, I have automatized an end process that was complicated (involved SAP) and time consuming.

The approach was the create an unattended robot that handled a new joiner by receiving a request and then following internal rules to make him "citizen of the company".
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Its best to enroll in the UiPath Academy and learn the basics if you never experienced UiPath.
The best part is that they are free.

UiPath Automation

  • December 06, 2018
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best?
UiPath is the perfect tool not only because it is easy to parametrize but also because of the network it has created.
The activities that come with the Studio are well designed and easy to use. That makes the automation much simpler than expected.
I am an engineer so I had knowledge on programming but most of my peers come from business schools and they were first afraid of parametrizing processes. Currently they are all using the studio and making their own processes.
What i most appreciate of UiPath is the academy and the forum since it allows every member of the UiPath community to share knowledge and request for help.
I fully recommend the software and in case you are in doubt you can always use the trial version to estimate the impact in your company or environment
What do you dislike?
I think there is possibility to improve the orchestrator since the dependencies between processes are sometimes difficult to set.
Sometimes it is easy to be blinded by the immediate results. the best way to automate is to define the process as complete as possible since a mistake would impact in thousands of operations
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The motivation of the employees is improved since they use their time in different tasks
The client feedback is positive since the time to market is reduced
As it's not integrated with the systems there is no need of expensive deployments or developments to automate tasks
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Think of RPA as a strategic solution
