What do you like best about the product?
User friendly UiPath Studio is so innovative and help the RPA developer to make simple/complex projects in few days/weeks time.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes, Data Scrapping and Type into activity, Sort Data Table misbehaves though the occurrence is rare .
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have made a POC on Claims Processing Automation using UiPath Studio for the benefit of the employees of our company. We are working on a retail POC in which we are using UiPath Studio for purchasing items on a online web portal and automation of the search and desired items.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
UiPath RPA is recommended for Robotic Process Automation Projects which will enable the companies to automate the repetitive and mundane tasks so that the employees can concentrate more on the intelligent tasks which will add value to the benefit of the company.

My Journey to UiPath

  • November 28, 2018

What do you like best about the product?
What I like about UIPath is its GUI are easy to understand because when you point your mouse on specific activity, there is a description box that will appear to explain the function of that particular activity and the drag and drop features of it makes it easier for me to create my process. It helps you to monitor and audit my activities, manage work queues, and schedule all processes. Also, the Orchestrator provides deep workflow information and powerful analytics for better decision making.

The UIPath is free to use for education and training purposes, developers and small professional teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it challenging the first time I use it. I'm still in the process of learning the hardest part in UIPath which is passing of variable when you invoked a file.

Auto-start feature of the UIRobot.exe is not available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automate repetitive tasks of our clients that:
- extract and download report on SAP application
-validate data from the extracted report
-produce journal entry on each company code.

We reduced the processed time from 780 minutes to 167 minutes and from 10 resources to one resource.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Automation tool should be easy to work for Business Analysts who has no programming knowledge. They should be able to configure the workflow in the tool. I Think UIPath is the best fit for this. UIPath has the ability to handle different use cases with large data and different conditions.

Seriously it's a cool tool and very user friendly. I can't say it has anything bad. Not at least till now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Fully Bot into this RPA

  • November 27, 2018
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
UIPath enables automation of repetitive tasks freeing up human resources to do more complicated work. Automation reduces the time for processing, reduces error and improves compliance rates
What do you dislike about the product?
There is often a misconception that RPA requires no code/ coding skills. While it is certainly low-code the skills required include ability to decompose process/ steps and identify reusable modules. This is a higher level skill - similar to building with 4GL tools
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
UIPath improves team productivity and morale by freeing users from repetitive tasks. It improves the quality of the deliverables and provides for faster turnaround. This has resulted in significant cost savings
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is not the tool that fully determines the success of your RPA attempt but your approach to automation. The UIPath Academy (training material) is very helpful in defining the process and the governance model.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility of the platform, the possibility to use the complete software during the trial period, the availability of the support even with a free license
What do you dislike about the product?
The need today to develop a lot of code as there are still a few bookstores. Some difficulties in debriefing the code. The interface to manage the orchestration is limited by functions. Client licenses are still expensive to implement the RDA Attended)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Verify security in using Office 365
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Improve, increase the management of the robot integrating it with a ticketing system

Easy to design and develop the application

  • November 27, 2018
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The installation and support system. Installation is very easy just 'Next', 'Next', 'Next' typical Windows based installation, no special configuration required. And also the drag and drop feature for the development (to automate) of the application.
What do you dislike about the product?
As such I didn't find anything to dislike. The only area of improvement I feel if it can support Unix scripts as well. I mean I can run Unix scripts via UiPath.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have few powershell scripts which we run manually daily. But sometimes user submit the wrong script or submit the scripts in wrong sequences, which creates lot of manual intervention to resolve the issue. I tried to automate the process which eradicate the manual errors.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Whatever I tried and did the pro-type models, my management is quite satisfied and thinking for it. My personal experience is so far is good and highly recommend it. It is very easy to use and simple to develop the application (automation).

New to automation but have seen great application to repetitive work.

  • November 25, 2018
  • Review verified by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that UiPath is able to control any software on the desktop. It allows me to automate processes that uses microsoft word, excel, power point, outlook and also online systems such as SAP and Business Insight tools.
Another point is that through automation, the processes has been streamlined to be very fast and efficient. Where certain works needed to the staff to complete in a few days, they are more willing to do the work now as it only takes 10-20 mins each time now.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is still a relatively steep learning curve. There will be a need to go through the whole UiPath Academy training before you can implement enterprise level codes. This means that you will require your team to each commit a time of about 2-3 month for training prior to being competent.
There is also some need to know basic programming and .Net language such that the codes could achieve what you intend to do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm solving finance reporting problems which happen on a monthly basis. I have currently 3 processes that have been coded to perform automation. Monthly CAPEX reporting, Monthly OPEX reporting and also an incentive scheme report that will require 8 reports to be generated monthly. All these processes will roughly require our staff to spend up to 100 hours monthly. This has helped free up the staff to perform other more meaningful work.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Will need to go through UiPath Academy fully to gain knowledge of the software.
