A great resource for tracking and grouping errors on our system
What do you like best about the product?
Rollbar fulfills an important need for us with its grouping of items, so that we can track over long periods of time. This allows us to see trends, when issues started, how many of our customers are affected. We also find the integrations very helpful with slack messages of new items and ability to create jira issues with all the details from rollbar automatically included. Customer support has also been great and timely to get back to us with any questions. They also have a slack community which can be helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the grouping can get a little messed up depending on the error message which means the tracking can be a little skewed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ability to monitor issues with our application over time and then target the highest number of issues to fix as a priority.

What do you like best about the product?
Rollbar has been intrumental in helping Snipe-IT/Grokability make sure our customers' experience is as smooth as possible. We're able to reduce the time from defect creation to defect detection to nearly immediate, giving us the ability to push out fixes so quickly that the customer sometimes doesn't even notice the bug. Definitely one of the best investments we've ever made for the success of our business.
What do you dislike about the product?
The search can be a little clunky. Trying to find issues for a specific domain name takes a bit more work than I'd like, and sometimes times out if there are a lot of errors to report on.

Rollbar has proven reliable, but the error grouping functionality needs improvement. The rules lack clarity, sometimes leading to unintended outcomes. Customizing notification conditions feels restrictive and could benefit from a rework. Enhancing these aspects would greatly improve the overall user experience and make Rollbar even more effective in error tracking and notification management.

Rollbar is my essential tool for quick error resolution and proactive issue handling in my platform. Its real-time tracking ensures prompt identification and resolution, minimizing downtime. The immediate notificaitons alert me to potential problems, making it a crucial asset for maintaining a resilient and robust platform.

What do you like best about the product?
The support I have gotten from Rollbar has been great. I can go to Anton and Nico at any time and they provide me incredibly fast response and solve my needs.
I really like the dashboarding and visualizations that Rollbar provides. Being able to distinguish anamolies has been helpful.

What do you dislike about the product?
Reporting and billing could use help. I typically have to go to someone at Rollbar to pull the data I need for reporting on usage. It seems they have tools to provide this data, but would like to see it provided to me as a user.
I am not as happy with the new UI. It is much harder to consume and figure out where the problem is coming from. Since using the new UI, I have trouble identifying where in the code the issue is coming from. Before, that was much easier to understand.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use rollbar during incidents. When we identify a service that is having an issue, we can go to Rollbar and see the trends of logs and identify if something has changed, or if that is just a reoccuring issue. I would like for us to lean more into it's capabilities.
We do have alerting for anomalies which is very helpful. We were able to identify a panic in one of our services which we otherwise would have missed. So it's alerting of issues is very helpful.

Best product to help speed up product release cycles!
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to quickly see issues after a release. We monitor each release as soon as it goes out using Rollbar. It has automated this process for us every day we use it!

What do you dislike about the product?
Improve the query speed of RQL but apart from that there is nothing we do not like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use to have no idea of what was breaking in production. Now we know as soon as a release runs into an issue before our customers report it!

Logs all the details needed for our system crashes and backend, frontend exceptions with all the needed info and occurrences, first time to be tracked, so the technical team can have the correct insights to solve the issues

Visibility and instant reporting for any system crashes or exceptions, and can be integrated with other third-party tools as well

Rollbar gives a good picture of the bugs and issues. It reduces a lot of risk by knowing these issues before the bugs make make business impact

Rollbar logs errors on web applications, it helps to keep track of issues and fix them.

You can track a variety of projects all at the same place, with lots of information about the errors or warnings that help you fix them easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be intimidating when it's your first time using it. It does take some time to discover and get used to all the features.

Easy to see if customers are having issues on our website with transactions, and also not only see but it makes it way easier to fix.

What do you like best about the product?
Rollbar grouping errors, so we as a team can see what is the most frequently occurring issue and can target modern updates to these areas first. This also allow us to create a business case far quicker to generate the time to undertake bigger upgrades in the areas of the application that need them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Rollbar logs notice as well and these count to your limit which can be frustrating especially when we have dependencies that haven't released updates to fix an issue and this ends up using all our credits

Rollbar is solving the issue of how to update business applications that haven't been updated in 10 years to use modern languages in a way that the business can see real improvement. It also helps flag up issues created by upgrades that might not be visible on first glance
