Flexibility is great from storage to business workflows

upgrade and SCCM package rollout. Also struggle with RPA consistently functioning

The easy user interface for our end users. The ease of customization. The wide variety of modules and countless integrations.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the software bugs over the years.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Importing documents into OnBase real time through API Integrations. Saves several days compared to the traditional DIP method of exporting/transferring/importing. Meta data is transferred as well, so indexing is no longer needed. Documents can go directly into Workflow or be viewed immediately by end users.
Great product with a lot of promise
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, ease of administration, the capabilities (if leveraged). Great community and responsive support. We are new to the product and are still flexing our wings and OnBase's as well. We are cloud-hosted which also makes administering the product much easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be difficult to navigate the different offerings to know what is included in "packages" and what are bolt-ons. There is a cost involved. Also, it can be difficult finding the right resource to provide the right answer to a technical or product question.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We want to use OnBase for our ERP and are looking forward to the coming integration with S/4HANA. That will open up a new set of users. We are also looking at CIC and integrating our other CM solutions.

As a new Admin. The best thing for has the ease of use when configuring systems but all training and knowledge that is available to get me up to speed

Sometimes having to use different clients functionality that could be handled in one place

What do you like best about the product?
The thing I enjoy the most about OnBase is how customizable it is, and the tools out contains to design and build new systems for different business processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The user interface on the Unity Client gets too complex for most users. Particularly when running in service mode for virtual print and application enabler. Training users to exit the app through the system tray never gets easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
OnBase allows our departments to work toward being paperless, as well as streamlining and speeding up all of our business processes.

What do you like best about the product?
I like all of the options to integrate with other applications. I also like all the data that you have at your fingertips. Ease of use and how quickly you can configure changes.

I dislike support and upgrades for onbase.

Automating exiting work that used to take quite a bit of time for our staff

I like OnBase's scalability and its easy to learn.

I dislike entry level support and upgrading the software.

OnBase is helping us streamline our workflows and allowing us to come up with better user experiences.

What do you like best about the product?
Multiple departments store documents, which can then be used in a multitude of different workflows for varied departments
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like to see updates and patches ala Microsoft Windows, continue to improve and support the product after release. As is once you purchase a release, that is what you have besides critical security patches.
