One of the most user friendly application ive come across
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to use and manage. Very flexible both to use and to administer. Really like the granular level of configuration that it provides.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some programming functions like loops are not available out of the box. Have to have good knowledge of the Workflow/Workview modules to really make full use of the product.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Document archival was our foundation. Once we created a repository of all our documents in e-form, we automated a number of our processes, even with one-way integration. We have developed Claims, Survey, SMS notification and Procurement processes using Onbase.

Robust ECM platform
What do you like best about the product?
Theres a lot of functionality that can be easily configured out-of-the-box
What do you dislike about the product?
The configuration is done using thick client. No web client to do configuration

Document and Records Management. Benefit of having DMS and RMS makes it easy to organize documents

It is the perfect solution to store and retrieve all the documents at one place

There is nothing to dislike about this software.

Storing all documents physically and retrieving information from that was really very hectic task. However, onbase proved to to be very beneficial in doing all that task.

It is very user friendly and lot of features it really easy to access and it has capabilities to implement any integration products like as guidewire Insurance suit and healthcare systems

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Auto documents classification and indexation. I found some bugs in product. And those has been fixed..
Recommendations to others considering the product:
There is no auto logout. When open onbase after idle state. It throwing exception error. It could be issue only my organisation level. But I'm not sure

OnBase is very user-friendly and scalable. It helps cut down on costs and increase efficiency.
What do you dislike about the product?
Price - it is a very expensive solution, but can be worth the cost if implemented and used correctly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Increased efficiency in A/P - invoices are scanned or automatically imported through email. Invoices are then indexed and routed to the correct cost center approvers, and an audit trail is created showing approval dates.
Great Products, Great Service
What do you like best about the product?
We use onbase for our Agenda Management and the unity client for document management. Both are very easy to use. Searching for items is fast with multiple ways to locate documents. For the agenda's we have mulitiple users, training is easy, uploading items to the web is simple as clicking a button.
What do you dislike about the product?
Every once in a while things don't upload properly, but there is a work around to get it accomplished
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For audits, we used to have to pull hard copies of invoices they requested to review, now the auditors search for invoices themselves and only request a hard copy if they are unable to locate one.

That Onbase notifies me when it is my turn to work on a particular process

So far I cant complain it has been a smooth ride

With every latest version, Hyland is bringing a lot of changes to the product.
If we have access to all licenses, we can customize a lot of things as per the requirement.

Version compatibility is troublesome, some functionalities will break in the upgraded version.

I used it few years ago and did not find anything that sufficed my needs . I have not used it recently however making it more UI centric with modern UI standards and paradigm would take it next level of usage.

I was working for an insurance company that had compliance of keeping the document safe for many decades.
So the need was to have a secure storage and reduce the physical storage for the cost and safety.

I liked the multiple folders that could be set up and being paperless.

When searching for documents you had to be very specific.

OnBase was used so that we could save money on paper and be able to share the same platform all over MN.
