Okta truly is the one source to manage identity
What do you like best about the product?
I love the ease of using the application and managing all of our users access from one place
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the support is a little lackluster but not always. Most of the time it's all great!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allow us to onboard and offboard users in a quick manner in one location.
Okta is one of the best choices for Identity Management
What do you like best about the product?
One of the best things about the platform is how refined and polished everything is, from its interface to customer service. It is very user-friendly but has great depth.
What do you dislike about the product?
The implementation could have been way smoother. More care could have been taken on our part, and Okta's part of making certain specific criteria was checked before moving forward in each implementation phase.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our Identity Access Management was almost nonexistent. We did not have the proper tools in place and did not have the right personnel in charge in this area. Okta was a great management solution at the time and integrated with what we already had to make the process extraordinary.

It's simple to log into any apps. Just one click.

Sometimes doesn't work, and is difficult to request new applications be put into the catalog.

nothing really, as my workflow using Okta was simple:
- login using mfa
- open other services from okta dashboard - like loggly, instana, etc and I'd be automatically logged into them
never had any problems and it worked fine

It makes sense for security but it's a kind of a hassle in practice.

I like that it's secure and that I only need to enter my password once to use all of my apps.

It seems to make using any apps on multiple computers really difficult

The fact that you start your day just by signing into Okta as a single source of truth is the most fantastic thing the software has done to work with a massive tech stack.

What do you dislike about the product?
The fact that it would keep signing me out every couple of hours. The fact that I have to download an app to use as an authenticator is not fun. Try using Google authenticator so that users don't have to download an app specifically.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Companies today use multiple tech stacks and being a sales guy I often need to access multiple platforms at once and having Okta as a SSO is one of the most easiest things, because once I sign in.

Having to do it every time, but that is just a safety measure
