What do you like best about the product?
Our data is consistent across all databases, lots of integration options
What do you dislike about the product?
The price is a bit costly.
There are some instances where the data does not fit the destination’s model.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Ensure that our customer data is centralized in one location.

Collation of data we use for app analytics across our org. Useful for understanding user needs.

Can't really think of any issues; works fine for majority of our use cases.

What do you like best about the product?
It was very easy to setup in my webapp and their APIs are so simple. Segment has a lot of educational videos which help to improve the outcomes.

Their integrations makes the work so much easier and simpler

Integrations with CRMs still complicated because of the way to match information into a deal

What do you like best about the product?
Segment is super easy to use. I love that I can send objects of data to other data visualization tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how segment is a bit addictive. Once you start passing data, and analyzing it in ways you haven't before, you want to use it for everything.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Segment, we've been able to identify areas where we can improve our automation. We capture data that is hand-key entered vs. automatically populated. For the data that is most frequently hand-key entered, we're better able to identify where we should spend engineering resources.

What do you like best about the product?
Tag once, integrate with hundreds of different marketing platforms—no need for a costly integration project with engineers and product teams.
What do you dislike about the product?
Expensive but worth time savings if you can afford it. It will end up paying for itself in labor costs with a few integrations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prevents lock-in and migration challenges from moving from one platform to another—all your data in one place.

What do you like best about the product?
The best advantage of using Segment is that it allows you to connect with hundreds of advanced tools, starting from analytics, through email marketing, and many more in the easiest possible way. You do not have to worry about anything in the area of data management once your Segment is implemented
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to have an opportunity to extract the data directly from segment environments, right now we are doing that using some other tools, but that would be a great enhancement
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I do not have to worry about anything in the area of data management, there is no need to integrate anything and ask developers for support, which is a great advantage. Moreover, segment helps me to test events and control whether are there any troubles in the area of events triggering or storying

A top-notch product that resolves the majority of problems in the area of data management and integrations with external tools

What do you like best about the product?
We wouldn't be able to run our company if it weren't for Segment. Segment allows us to easily track our performance, analyze results and share them with our organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
Segment support could be more responsive. There have been several occasions when we have reached out and the delayed response can add up. I would recommend a more robust helpline.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are a growth-stage company currently in pursuit of our Series B. We utilize Segment to analyze our company performance.

The level of service Segment provides, as defined by their response times and quality of service, is fantastic.

Their pricing model. It doesn't account for bots and fake traffic.

It enables us to easily integrate and manage tools that leverage our central data infrastructure.

What do you like best about the product?
Pipe all the data from ingestion to datalake with ease and control. Make the data team super productive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Could be a little cheaper given the technology has improved and become cheaper too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A single place to ingest all apps behavioural data. Send to almost anywhere and free the teams to use the data.
