Branch helps organizations push app adoption and deliver contextual journeys to customers.

What do you like best about the product?
Branch products suite enables organizations to deep-link users from one channel to another offering a great opportunity to orchestrate the traffic and provide a contextual journey.
I like the fact that I'm empowered to drive traffic based on business objectives and clearly measure the outcome of those objectives.
What do you dislike about the product?
The current business model based on tiers doesn't really work for large-scale organizations. It would be beneficial for Branch to offer a consumption-based model (e.g. you pay for what you consume) instead of buying extra MAUs units.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Provide a contextual journey to our customers (e.g. app users should land in the app when clicking a link from email) and clearly see attribution across ad-networks.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
review business model for large organizations and provide more transparency for MAUs consumption in the dashboard (e.g. I'd like to see the split between platforms)

Effective partner in mobile attribution and link tracking

What do you like best about the product?
Branch is a tool we use for mobile attribution, primarily in terms of installs. We also use their service to track marketing links. The interface is intuitive and stuff is easy to find.
What do you dislike about the product?
Branch has many internal features that require hands on assistance from the relationship managers that are hard to figure out by ourselves. Also, with the new iOS privacy laws it's becoming harder to track installs, although it may not be a uniquely Branch problem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Branch to track mobile installs, both on iOS and Android. We are also using it to track our marketing links. Branch has helped her identify sources of traffic, both in terms of installs as well as directly thought marketing links.

What do you like best about the product?
It's great to have a platform that allows us to push for app growth via deep linking and targeted journeys/campaigns. We've seen a significant improvement in ROI across our channels since having app measurement in place and found that we can make more robust commercial decisions based on this.
What do you dislike about the product?
We are still yet to find a perfect solution that allows for one view of performance, combining both web + app that isn't too manual. Having our data structured in this way would allow us to react quicker and be more holistic in our decision-making.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Increased app mix of sales, increased app downloads, increased app reporting, smoother customer journeys, increased partners to work with across our affiliate network
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Speak to someone in their account management team who will be able to show you the platform and how you can get the most out of it. Steph is great.

Simple and easy to use

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to wrap links and view all metrics in one dashboard. The ability to add tags for each URL for easy identification. Search with detailed filters. Able to export data from the whole dashboard.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be good if there is a step-by-step tutorial when adding Ad Partners in Partner Management.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Able to consolidate all marketing efforts into one dashboard and able to know the post actions after users download the app. One of the benefits that we realized is seamless deep linking to the desired destination in the app.

What do you like best about the product?
Branch has simplified integrations with marketing channels (FB, Goog, etc.) for paid app install attribution. It has a very easy to use quick link capability that allows users to self serve when building deeplinks, redirects and QR codes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Web linking tracking capabilities could be improved knowing that Branch has been primarily focused on mobile. It would be great to have more granular data for web at the click level.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Branch provides us with paid app install attribution across our primary paid channels. They also help us with deeplinks into the app for marketing purposes.

What do you like best about the product?
Implementation Team - The Branch team showcased a great deal of partnership experience and knowledge when we expanded Branch's capabilities to new global markets. The team was extremely organized, knowledgeable, friendly, and responsive to our questions along the journey. While getting Branch's baseline functionality was our #1 goal for quick links and deferred deep linking for email, the team also provided insights on future roadmap feature enhancements to bolster the product within our tech ecosystem.

Client Success Team - Similar to the implementation team, the partnership from an account-level perspective was top-notch. With weekly check-ins and discussions of in-flight initiatives and future ideas, the account management team was excellent.

Ease of Integration with 3rd Party Vendors - Given out tech stack has several additional tools in play for analytics, CRM, and others - Branch seemed to have strong experience with this and made the additional integration seamless.

Deferred Deeplinking - With an important goal of getting our subscribers to download our viewing experience, this key functionality of directing users to get the app from stores or getting straight to the content was key for our user experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
Truthfully there were nearly no dislikes - the only wish is that we had the Branch team within our communication tools (Slack) indefinitely for deeper partnership
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Deferred Deeplinking and obtaining user attribution data were our main benefits from implementing Branch. Another large area of usage was for our Social Media teams to use Branch's quick links generation tool for increasing traffic to our app.

I have been very impressed with their capabilities but mostly the people; they are never pushy, super helpful, and reliable!

The pricing by usage and overages are a bit confusing

Great Product, Even Better Team/Support

What do you like best about the product?
TLDR: Branch has a great product and even better service - from sales, to onboadring, customer success, and engineering support, Branch takes care of its customers!

I've been a two time customer of Branch, both at large highly regulated enterprises. While Branch has certainly grown in headcount, features, and industry stature they still run a personal, high-touch operation, you never feel like just a number. While some mobile growth vendors make it difficult to try their product, Branch welcomes it with open arms! Branch helped me run a POC before I paid a penny and (more importantly) before I had to go through legal and security assessments. Not only did this make integration easier, when I did have to go through those brutal processess, I had first hand data and experience to speak from. It made a world of difference. Feature-wise, Branch is great. There feature set keeps expanding and has led to successful campaigns for my business areas.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wouldn't say I dislike anything really, but I do think there are a few enhancements that would supercharge growth:

1. 'Link templates' in the dashboard, that allows marketing team members (non technical) to easily create a campaign specific deep link based on default presets.
2. Expanded QR codes - Enable branded/color QR codes from dashboard rather than only API, also enable programmable QR codes that do not leverage deep links, may seem counter intuitive but the marketing teams are desparate for a 1 stop QR code shop. The more people I get into branch for web only deep links, the more exposure deep linked QR codes will get
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problems I am solving for: Deep linking, Attribution, Deep linking from QR codes
Benefits: Enhanced app usage, which has led to increased mobile engagement and conversion vs. mobile web

What do you like best about the product?
Branch has been super helpful as we work towards our omni channel experience in our email program - leveraging branch links helps us get one step closer and more in sync with our ap consumers
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the technical items we needed to implement were a higher lift than originally stated - not the branch teams fault, but since our systems are so custom, not everything works out of the box as stated
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helping connect to our consumer where they want to shop (.com vs ap). This has also given our retail partners a quick and easy way to create QR codes by leveraging branch.
