App Attribution Made simpler
What do you like best about the product?
1. The best part is their cross-platform attribution and clear split between organic and inorganic sources and events.
2. The intuitive and customizable dashboards provide great insights in terms of data, which are a great help in campaign optimization.
3. Their support team is commendable, they troubleshoot all queries in no time and help us stay updated with new feature updates.

What do you dislike about the product?
1. I would say that certain improvements can be made for example they must have separate dashboards to monitor reengagement, acquisition and retention campaigns.
2. While integrating ad partners, the attribution windows for certain standard and custom events must be picked automatically from ad partners and should not have to be filled manually.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Branch to track attribution of organic, Facebook ads, Google ads, Referrals and Affiliates. it provides campaign-level data and helps us in adopting a data-favoured approach while optimising various marketing campaigns and channels. Branch has helped us save a lot of time and effort that otherwise went in fetching and analysing data which was not even accurate.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Branch offers great visualization of otherwise unstructured data. It can be a great resource for small-scale app companies as it helps us in allocating our resources to the right channels.

What do you like best about the product?
We use Branch as our MMP and I could not be any happier. They have all the necessary tools to help our growth initiatives. Their customer service is top-notch and the team is very knowledgeable about the industry.

N/A as every player in the space is facing the same issues due to privacy concerns.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Attribution, attribution, and attribution. This helps us identify where we should grow and what to focus on, while being a strategic partner throughout the process.
Review from a Marketer's point of view.
What do you like best about the product?
Branch gives us the flexibility to analyse user cohorts and also provides a unified view of all installs where we can put filters and customise them according to our needs. Deferred deep linking is one amazing feature that has increased our funnel rates by more than 3x. We get dedicated account managers who help us in understanding broader and niche use cases and do account audits every quarter, this has helped un unearth features which we were not utilizing initially.
What do you dislike about the product?
When compared to Appsflyer which we were using initially, Branch falls short in a lot of aspects, some of them are: Branch's dashboard is not intuitive, features are very limited, and fraud protection is not very apt. The scope of customization while analyzing data is poor, there are overlapping colours on the dashboard which hinder the visibility.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main pain point that Branch solves is the attribution. Initially, when our Appsflyer subscription duration ended, we were managing campaign performance with in-house analytics but cross-platform attribution and campaign level data, especially from Facebook Business Manager, was passed only to third-party analytics/attribution platforms. Branch enables us to map the installs to their acquisition source and also do an analysis on the quality of users coming through each campaign to the ad level.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Branch can be used for basic attribution and analytics of marketing campaigns. It solves the issue of tracking the installs to their source and hence in the campaign and channel optimisation. I would say this is a must-have tool and offers a great return on investment.

What do you like best about the product?
Branch's support is extraordinary and they offer custom prices and were also flexible enough to accommodate some of our additional MAU and other engagement numbers at the same price. Creating and editing quick links and ad links in bulk is quick and analysing them is easy as they have a dedicated dashboard for deep links only. Managing ad partners and onboarding new affiliate partners is also convenient.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a huge scope for improvement when it comes to the User Interface. While creating custom dashboards, it does not allow us to put formulas and we have to pick from already available set metrics only.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Branch helps us with our daily marketing analytics. Its Multi-Platform Attribution helps us in Marketing Campaign Optimization, we are also utilizing the deferred deep-linking feature of Branch to provide a rich user experience in ads and also land them on that particular page when they download the app. This has increased our subsequent app opens after the first one tremendously.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Branch can be a great third-party analytics tool as it brings about clarity in thought while taking important action when it comes to improving a campaign's performance. Must-have tool for app-based companies.
Easy integration on Android
What do you like best about the product?
Extensive documentation together with quickly responding support makes integration easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
No example of integration with Android Billing was provided, but I was able to figure it out relatively quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Purchase tracking for Ad campaigns - helps to improve campaign targeting.
Amazing MMP for deeplinks and multi channel attribution/analytics
What do you like best about the product?
The support team at Branch helps us every step of the way, from providing complete support during tech integration and a dedicated account manager who helps us utilise the tool in the best possible way. Branch majorly helps us in cross-platform attribution and analytics which further helps in campaign and channel optimization.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does not let us track uninstalls which is a major miss and hinders campaign optimization to a great extent. The UI can also be improved and the current dashboard is difficult to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Branch for creating quick links, ad links and deferred deep links in ads for providing an instant experience to users and ensuring they land on the specific content shown in the ads. This reduces user drop off and enhances session time. Apart from links we also use Branch on a daily basis to look at daily campaign performance and see how all the channels, as well as affiliate partners, are faring.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Branch helps us with App Marketing, and App Analytics and the quick links can even be used for search and display campaigns, this functionality is not provided by Appsflyer. Also, Branch provides flexible pricing and is much more cost-effective when compared to Appsflyer.
Good value for money, offers good multi channel attribution
What do you like best about the product?
Branch is much more reasonable than Appsflyer and hence provides analytics and cross-platform attribution which might not be as accurate and top-notch as Appsflyer but does the job well. Creating deep links and their analysis via reports and customised dashboards is quick and easy with Branch. Click and install Fraud can also be identified and flagged with Branch in the same package while Appsflyer has additional charges for this.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is some scope for improvement in the dashboard and other features which require a lot of steps for example ad partner integration, giving agency access, deciding their level of access, setting up events and exporting them to ad partners, setting up attribution windows, these are some features which need a lot of manual work which can be automated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Branch for some of our clients as their primary MMP. Branch is a powerful attribution tool which maps the users to their correct source of acquisition and also tracks their journeys within the app. Full funnel analysis helps us in identifying the quality of acquired users which can then be used to pivot campaign targeting and other acquisition strategies.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Branch is good to opt if you need good attribution but do not have adequate resources, but must try for smaller enterprises.

What do you like best about the product?
The best part is the ease with which we can create links be it ad links/deep links or one links. Slicing and dicing data based on source, event or campaign is easy and the dashboards provide valuable insights into the performance of various marketing channels.
What do you dislike about the product?
The User Interface is not as intuitive as Appsflyer and the support team when contacted gives us lengthy documentation which is not very helpful. The integration took us almost 2 months while Branch only gave us one month free trial period.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We initially used Branch only for their deep links and later took their analytics services majorly for accurate Cross-platform attribution and better campaign optimisation. Branch also helps in fraud analysis of various affiliate partners at no additional cost unlike Appsflyer as they charge for P360 on top of the plan bought. Branch helps us in taking data-backed decisions when optimising acquisition and reengagement campaigns.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Branch is definitely an upgrade from manual data pulling and analytics but if you have better financial resources then please go for Analytical tools like Mixpanel or Appsflyer.
Perfect Third party attribution platform
What do you like best about the product?
Branch offers great insights about the source of acquisition of users, retention of different ad platforms, performance of reengagement campaigns and Retention graphs of users on the app. The best part is the customer support of Branch as they provide account managers even for startups with miniscule ad spends. Unlike Appsflyer where there is only one person responsible for giving platform access to team members, on Branch anyone can give access to team members.
What do you dislike about the product?
Branch lacks certain features and automation which are offered by its competitors like the incrementality feature by Appsflyer and also the impression and click trackers required for Affiliate partners need to be created manually.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Branch for its quick links and Cross-platform campaign analytics and attribution. It also helps us in preventing fraud and negating bot traffic which flows in through affiliate partners. We also use Branch deep links in email and SMS campaigns which take users directly to the content within the app and also provide us deeper insights into user engagement and behaviour on the app. We also use Branch for analysing Reengagement campaigns of multiple clients.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Branch is a convenient and reasonable attribution platform which provides far superior attribution than Firebase.
Simple solution to a *very* complex problem
What do you like best about the product?
Deep linking is a messy process; many variables affect how to best handle a deep link. Branch obfuscates that complexity for your marketing team, so they can focus on the intent of the link rather than the myriad edge cases.
What do you dislike about the product?
Troubleshooting links that don't work as expected can be difficult, but their support staff is very smart. Branch's pricing model favors full utilization of their services (not strictly usage-based), which can be a double-edged sword.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Branch enables our team to send marketing messages across multiple channels that intelligently link to the right resource based on the context in which the user engages (i.e. iOS/Android, with/without app, or desktop).
