Conductor allows me to spend less time reporting and more time working
What do you like best about the product?
It allows me to gain insight into my organic performance and site issues in just a few moments at the beginning of the day.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve can be a bit overwhelming initially, but the onboarding team and Conductor Academy will help mitigate this.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping me be better at my job as an SEO and providing better insights into my work when I report to upper management.

Conductor is the Tool for Leveling Up Your SEO
What do you like best about the product?
Conductor is an easy-to-use, comprehensive SEO platform, including competitor research, keyword research, content topic research (with built-in content briefs!), technical monitoring, and invaluable support. Our entire team has leveled up our SEO knowledge, organic marketing maturity and search engine rankings.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have not encountered downsides to Conductor. The only caveat I would offer is to look at the size of your team and the resources you have to be able to take action on all the insights you will get out of this tool. It is not easy to fix all of the technical SEO issues you will find, or optimize all the content you want to optimize, if you have no team member devoted to SEO. That said, Conductor offers wonderful support and will contribute to your team significantly. You can also use the Conductor Marketplace to request more help/deliverables if you need it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Conductor gives our Marketing team (and beyond) a much clearer look at what our audiences care about, how they talk about those topics, and what questions they have. We now make much more informed decisions when planning content across channels. We also have a better view of how our competitors (both local and online) are performing so that we can take action and optimize content accordingly. As a health system that has seen fluctuations in website traffic since COVID-19 began, our focus on organic content and SEO helped us emerge with more organic traffic today than pre-2020. We are also competitive in ways many of my colleagues and leaders never expected. Conductor also provided a better way for us to stay on top of technical SEO maintenance, including prioritizing issues and organizing the work to resolve them.

What do you like best about the product?
Powerful content creation data that shows precisely what is ranking and why. Keyword tracking across multiple devices and accounts with detailed views on SERP features.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not a big fan of the colour scheme for Conductor. If we could have a Dark Mode or some way to tone the green/white contrast down that would be a great way to improve.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Conductor enables our teams to collaborate easily, distribute work and keep track of all changes in one suite of tools. This makes onboarding new clients and team members easy.

What do you like best about the product?
Conductor is an excellent, simple and intuitive platform that allows the user to make notes and annotations to keep a record of their SEO work/projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more integration with other apps and more analytics on the work undertaken, almost like a project management tool

Conductor is mostly used to shape our SEO marketing decisions and help with content research/guidance

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing is the addition of ContentKing and DeepCrawl, which now makes Conductor a more complete SEO package. Besides that, I like the report builder through Workspaces, and the research and discovery tools, especially competitive analysis. I also like the free training tutorials and the support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although the reports are easy to build and one of the best features of Conductor, they tend to be rigid and don't offer enough customization. A backlinks analysis tool would also be a helpful addition.

Conductor helps me with SEO research, analysis and reporting. It's especially useful when trying to answer very specific questions from stakeholders or clients, and it's great for enterprise SEO teams.

What do you like best about the product?
Conductor is an excellent tool for keyword research. They have their own data plus data from other sources, such as SEMrush.
Over the last few years, they have added an immense amount of features like keyword intent and traffic projection.

Given that Conductor does bring data from other sources, sometimes their numbers are not as accurate as other reputable SEO tools.
Another issue I have with Conductor is the fact that they don't offer in-depth social media stats that could correlate to organic traffic.

Even though Conductor is capable of performing a great number of things, I do their capability to do keyword tracking. You can use this feature to align with all of the other stats (monthly search volume, number of results and result types).

discover, content guidance & recommendation provide great insights while doing SEO optimizations. We can easily compare the rankings with up to 4 competitors in one single view along with options to check if we are ahead or behind our competitors.
Apart from this, the Market share report is another great feature that saves a lot of time & effort while doing competitor analysis or checking the impact of Google Algo update.
Deep crawl is another great addon that makes this tool even more powerful.

The only challenge I see while using Conductor and comparing the ranks is that it only provides 2 weeks of Rank comparison. We cannot customise the dates as per our requirement.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For me, Conductor is saving time by providing all features in one single tool like keyword research, Market research, and Technical Audits.
I have used Search Metrics, Ahrefs, and Botify but this tool is quite easy to understand and navigate.
We can easily check what's working and what's not as it provides a lot of graph and visualization stuff which makes it interesting.

Conductor helps me digest useful content metrics easily and quickly.
What do you like best about the product?
I love how Conductor allows me to put keywords and pages into groups so I can track the performance and growth in a more specific, targeted way. This also allows the writers on my team to get insight into how their individual pieces of content are doing.

I think the weekly insights emails could be more helpful. Maybe the ability to customize the metrics it sends would be more useful. This feature might already exist, but I haven't been able to find it.

Conductor allows me to track a high volume of keywords. This helps me and my team members understand how our content is performing and identify opportunities for improvement.
Conductor is a solid platform to manage all aspects of your SEO strategy and keyword research.
What do you like best about the product?
The keyword explorer and navigation tools are very helpful, and I particularly like the way we can create and track different lists of priority keywords that are valuable to our business units worldwide. The UI is also particularly easy to navigate, and very visually intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
The implementation and learning curve was a bit high for beginners, but the Conductor Academy courses are very helpful to offset that. With any tool that has as much functionality and customization as Conductor, there's going to be somewhat of a learning curve, and they make every effort possible to offset that with on-demand learning resources and direct support. I wouldn't sacrifice the capabilities that Conductor provides for a simpler, less powerful tool.

Conductor provides our company with a globally managed SEO tool for keyword research and planning, on- and off-page content optimization, backlink strategy, and other more advanced SEO features that are critical for enterprise tech and software companies to compete and maintain visibility in the digital marketplace.
