My experience with Druva has been excellent.
What do you like best about the product?
The cloud service "just works" and takes the burden of managing onsite data storage off my hands. Additionally, it backups up all aspects of our Office365 data (Onedrive, Teams, Exchange, Sharepoint).
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost can get out of hand if you misconfigure your policies to keep copies of backups you may not need. Understanding how storage consumption can be monitored and how that can translate to your costs is essential.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I do not have to concern myself with legacy solutions such as tape backup robots, backup servers on-premise, or offsite storage management and retrieval times.

Adaptability, Reliability and Affordability
What do you like best about the product?
With Druva we were able to completely migrate our entire organization away from media-based backups to their cloud. It was quickly deployed and very easily managed through their portal. Restorations are quick and reliable when needed, we have all the confidence that Druva is keeping our business continuity in check.
What do you dislike about the product?
With our legacy systems it was a little more involved to get it deployed, however Druva support was there with us the entire way to make it happen. They took a challenging situation and adapted their client to overcome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We no longer need to maintain on-premises media-based backup solutions, which means purchasing new media, managing media libraries, etc. Restorations that would have typically taken us 40-60 person-hours are now down to single digits.

What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike very little; most of it isn't worth mentioning, but the 2-factor authentication could link to an app like authy or google authenticator instead of sending an email.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Druva is providing my team with a very light-touch solution which is giving us more time to work on other issues, secure in the knowledge that our backups are well cared for.

Saas and On-Site Cloud Backup Platform
What do you like best about the product?
This is a very comprehensive backup system. It allows for SaaS and on-prem backups without requiring any additional hardware. The Agent installs easily onto each system and for VMWare a backup proxy service manages all of your VMs. For AWS you just need to run a Cloud Formation template for each account and all EC2 instances etc. become visible. Very scalable and very easy to use and manage. We use this for site backups, lab systems, linux workstations, VMware, and Macbooks. Also for Office 365, Exchange, One Drive and sharepoint backups.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platforms are separate and require separate logins, but this will be addressed over time. Phoenix and InSync is one login and Cloud Ranger is a separate login. Other than that, no complaints.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reliability and the ability to restore data and services to differing locations. This can allow to move systems across sites as well as different data stores and ESXi's for example.
Also we are able to use their phoenix cloud backup platform to copy our VSphere infrastructure and bring this online for Disaster Recovery in the Cloud.

Druva is awesome
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, deployment and managing. Console is very intuitive to navigate around. Backups and restores are also easy to do. Deployment of Insync and Phoenix is also intuitive. Once you set this up, there is very little involvement you need to do other than look at the alerts if there are issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
The separate login console for both Insync/Phoenix and Cloud Ranger. If we can email support versus going to the support page and filling out a form to get the support that would be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having a cloud backup of our onsite infrastructure and cloud services.
Satisfied and highly approving of Druva's Cloud Backup
What do you like best about the product?
One, unified GUI for multiple products.
Also provides support for multiple hybrid servers.
Also provides support for multiple hybrid servers.
What do you dislike about the product?
There could be more backup options for other hybrid servers and on-prem support.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
High Return On Investment, along with no resources needed anymore for physical backup drives
Great Team of engineers and support
What do you like best about the product?
It is the best fit for our global environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
Backup options for Azure and AHV is limited.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to retire tape backups and the admin overhead of using tape.

What do you like best about the product?
Having worked in the IT Industry for 30+ years I have used many different products over the years to keep our important data backed up. Though I have liked a few of them very much Druva is the best one I have ever used. Druva provides me with all of the features to keep our data safe in todays world.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't think of anything I dislike at this time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Druva has given us the ability to keep our important data in the cloud and to keep it completely separate from our live data giving us a protected backup in case of a ransomware situation.
