Always have your data ready!
What do you like best about the product?
Druva inSync gives you more options than Google Sync and OneDrive. Being able to have a robust amount of options in the cloud for a user or admin is great. Druva makes it easy for a user to restore data in a time where everyone is working from home is awesome.
What do you dislike about the product?
The cost is a bit high even for a small company to use. The cost difference between what is out there and what Druva provides could be reduced considerably. Even when trying to buy licenses we were told initially we had to buy in packs, so as a small company who only needs to add 1 or 2 every once and awhile becomes hard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have all of our laptops syncing to the cloud so even if we need to a restore it is seamless. Ensuring everything is in the cloud due to faulty hardware on a laptop/desktop is paramount.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
- Make sure you set your settings before deploying to your company. Obviously this should be a no brainer by default, but it is highly recommended.
- A lot of companies that allow you to backup to the cloud do not have the settings that Druva gives you. OneDrive and Google Drive do not give you everything that Druva has. Make sure you set your admin users up a part from the regular user.
- As an ISO 27001 certified company it is nice to see Governance. Being able to track audit trails or DLP if necessary is a good feature to have.

Excellent Backup Software
What do you like best about the product?
Super easy to use, everything you need is in the Dashboard. One or two clicks and you're where you need to be. No need to click on each tab to find what you're looking for.
What do you dislike about the product?
We only use the inSync however our dashboard loads the phoenix and CloudRanger which we don't use. sometimes it takes some time to load,
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Backup size and with endpoint devices. We were hesitant to get a new backup software during Covid and everyone working from home. However, the initial backup was a success. Users were not aware of the full backup initial copy. We were able to throttle the bandwidth and select backup locations by location. We have users from India backing up to Mumbai and there were no issues.
Easy to setup, versatile application with great DLP tools
What do you like best about the product?
Client side ease of sign in and use; ease of SSO Setup.
Ability to differentiate what backs up by OS.
Legal Hold capabilities and the option to have a cheaper "preserved" user is huge and something other backup solutions don't offer.

What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the documentation on the website isn't 100% clear/adequate, but their solution engineers are definitely available and willing to help.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Needing to back up computer's of offboarded/furloughed employees and not having them at the full cost of a "backed up" user like other backup solutions.

Try it out!
Druva Insync Excellent Product
What do you like best about the product?
Druva Insync is the best product I can find to backup my google drive and my users computers. Also you can set time per week when you can do the update.
What do you dislike about the product?
So far like everything , what they can Improve is the consumption of running in the background most time. Also the Phoenix can improve since is based on Credits, so If you to a mis configuration your credits will go up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

The cloud dashboard makes it easy to manage files.

Fantastic way to backup Office 365
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use. If you are old school, you will know how hard it has been to keep backups up to date. There usually all kinds of little errors that make your backups fail, I haven't had that issue with Insync. Any time I have had to restore it worked properly with no issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have had some issues backing up large Sharepoint libraries. I put a ticket in with Druva and worked with them on a resolution, but Druva never got back to me on a fix. I ended up splitting up those large Sharepoint sites into smaller sites and that fixed the issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I need off site continuous backups for Office 365, and this checked all of my boxes. The product is easy to use and should feel familiar to anyone who has used SaaS products.
I can finish counting sheep at night..................
What do you like best about the product?
Peace of mind. I was slow to adopt to "cloud" solutions, but it has been great thus far.
What do you dislike about the product?
The interface was a little tricky at first to figure out between insync an phoenix interface at first.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I also have a VEEAM solution in play for my backup and replication to my co-lo and I have come to realize that Phoenix is a much more cost effective solution.
