Mongodb: the friendly No-SQL Database
What do you like best about the product?
Mongodb is very friendly for new developer to learn, moreover, it has amazing document that support many programming languages

Unfortunately, the doxuments are heavy in memory

I created many API's for mobile application using mongodb. The benefit of access methodology (key, value) made the API's very fast.

- It isn't easy to have a good performance if you are a beginner o mid-level

MongoDB will consume more resources and need to configure properly if it is your main database.

Using mongoDB, GeoNear Query was able to perform easily to get coordinates and also using Quorum high availability was achieved

High availability is the best feature—no need to worry about the stability or server uptime.

MongoDB is not matching to all scenarios. Sometimes you need to stick to a SQL database for simplicity. This is not a reason to dislike but a reason to avoid in some cases.

Sometimes I noticed that it was very hard to handle the characteristics of the program, like the search, information and guidance, but afterwards I came to realize it was petulant, fluid and desirable for storing data.

The clustering can indeed be hard to understand and learn. There is also no shared collection support for the transaction. The paperwork is complete and not so well organised. The memory consumption of this software is significant. It takes a lot of practice MongoDb because it's a bit difficult. I believe MongoDB support should be enhanced. You should add more functionality to motivate developers to use it. I believe that perhaps the library of a third party should have increased and expanded.

The software also provides great performance. New and meaningful features are updated in yearly releases which are so unique. It doesn't take to much time to understand. The installation is very easy. MongoDB is so simple to set up locally and on different SAAS providers. It is one of the best no SQL family database.
What do you dislike about the product?
The aggregation can be a little difficult to learn and understand. The transaction is also not supported on a shared collection. The documentations are complete but they are not well structured. In this software the memory consumption is high. It will take time to learn MongoDb as it is a little hard. I think that the support for MongoDB should be improved. They should add more features so that the developers will be motivated to use it. In my opinion, a third party library should have risen and increased.

As Mongo DB is free for commercial usage, it supports in building the startup from scratch and hit the ground running. It makes the messaging system easy on the Cloud.
