Amplitude not only shows me what I want to know, it reveals what I didn't even think to ask.
What do you like best about the product?
Very intuitive to setup and use. I can easily figure out ways to construct what I want to find out.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm very happy with this as compared to other tools like Mixpanel. Nothing to dislike
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're using it to track usage metrics, understand our customers and their behaviour. We can run experiments, see what works and then scale it up.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use it without a second thought.

What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude makes product analytics so much easier than Mixpanel does. Accidentally start a report in Event Segmentation but actually meant to create a Funnel Analysis report? You can switch and your query CARRIES OVER 🤯. You get so much more for free, which is great for start-ups that don't have budget yet (like where I work). It is also so much easier to learn because the selectors are all the same. I really can't say enough about using Amplitude over its competition.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's really hard to think of anything I dislike in Amplitude. Frankly if anything, I wish we had the budget to purchase cohorts so it would be so much more powerful, but that is the life at a start-up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I primarily use Amplitude to track tests that I've been running and identifying drop offs in our sales channel. I am able to be so much more nimble with Amplitude versus waiting for a data analyst to set up a report for me.
Great Platform for Insight on Data

I like that everything is customizable and is condensed in coherent view

Nothing that I've seen that I disliked so far

I used this platform to alert me how my customer usage is going on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. This helps to understand my customer's health score and to reduce churn to understand my customer's behavior and overall performance

Great tool to get a overview of your account and activity - easily customizable to see different dashboards and manage all activity

I use the new chart to explore a lot, and don’t often save the chart I made - this experience could be improved

Could not live without Amplitude for Product Analytics
What do you like best about the product?
The charts are easy to manipulate, allowing me to segment users and answer ANY question about ANY user group for our product team in a matter of minutes.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have no complaints. Even when I do have a minor confusion point, their support articles are world-class and their support team is extremely quick to reply.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Amplitude Analytics for mobile app product analytics and regularly discover trends in user behavior that inform our product updates.

Using Amplitude will be the best decision your product team ever makes. We rely on these charts and dashboards to consistently ship the features users want, and have achieved amazing growth thanks to Amplitude.

What do you like best about the product?
Amplitide is very easy to implement but extremely powerful. It allows us tog sin amazing insight into how users use our apps so we can focus on improving what really matters.
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s sometimes hard to segment users by properties because properties are only registered when events are triggered. I would appreciate profiling users directly regardless of events.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to monitor how users use our apps, discover usage patterns and improve the app in ways that will actually make an impact based on what users are doing. We’ve seen an increase in usage, ROI and customer satisfaction.
Great Client Service
What do you like best about the product?
The Review is based on my experience working with the Client Service (Platform) team. Tracy, who I worked with this time from the platform team was professional and helpful. I recently took over the Amplitude project at my company and was not very familiar with how it was set up. Tracy always responded to my emails in a timely manner with easy to follow steps, suggested documentation links, and additional insights if she has any. She knows the ins and outs of the product. There were a few times when she had to confirm with internal engineers, she circled back to be the next day or two.

I haven't had any negative experience with the teams I worked with so far.

My Experience with Amplitude
What do you like best about the product?
It's a very simple tool. Doesn't need hands-on training to use the tool. Even a new person can quickly and easily understand and work with the tool. Personally, amplitude has helped our team a lot with the new product. All their features like funnels, user segmentation, cohorts have helped us understand our users better. How when a new version of our product goes out it automatically creates release notes and shows me the new events that were part of this new release. It becomes easier for me to add on to the release if something is missing. Amplitude is made our life easier for me and my team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would like it if I could easily switch between 'conversion' & 'conversion over time' easily from the dashboard instead of having to open the funnel. It's very important for me and my team to have an eye on the funnel every day to make sure everything in our system is in place. Apart from other systems that help us know if everything is working fine, checking amplitude charts help us totally validate everything.
To add on when I have to make changes to existing funnels, it takes time to load these and edit and save them.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Amplitude analytics to understand our user behavior. What are most people doing on our app? How many people are enjoying our services on the app and how many are dropping off? We are a data-driven company. Any changes we make on our app is backed by data. Amplitude plays a huge role for us to understand how our users like our features on the app and have improvements in the app have affected our user behavior.
