Super complete analytics software
What do you like best about the product?
It allows me to keep track of different KPIs by myself.
I am a product designer ans I am able to generate dashboards by myself in a very easy way

What do you dislike about the product?
I think it's more related to the data structure built by the data team at my company, but soemtimes it gets really hard to find exactly the event I am looking for
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me a lot when sharing my squad progress (on a weekly basis) with stakeholders. It's the tool we use to measure our success
Great and multi-purpose analytics tool
What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude replaced Google Analytics for us, it's easy to use, fairly easy to implement and it's a single source of truth for us about our marketing and product efforts.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's not the best for some marketing activities and the pricing cold be better. For example we decided to turn off "Session start" event because it would consume to much of our data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We measure experiments in Amplitude, track conversion of every step of the product and analyze user paths and behaviours.
Ambitious tool, but there's room for improvement
What do you like best about the product?
Most things are laid out in a pretty easy-to-follow manner. Ample educational resources to show how clients can use the tool better.
What do you dislike about the product?
There were limitations to how much we can segment users based on behavior. Some more advanced filtering/processing had to be done outside of amplitude via multiple workarounds.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I acted as a liason between the Product + Marketing team to create email workflows based on user action captured on Amplitude. Using the Hubspot x Amplitude integration as well as their webhooks capabilities, we were able to pretty quickly draw up email campaigns to support user journeys.
awesome, only get troubles with session length
What do you like best about the product?
very useful instrument I would say I love it
What do you dislike about the product?
session length is not always working correctly so it brakes this type of analytics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We check all the funnels, retention and user behavior in the games. We are creating mobile games.

What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude is a tool I can't imagine running product management without. It gave me an easy way to understand deeply actions of my users. Setup needs a bit of an engineer help but it's a straightforward, half-an-hour task. Running analyses, creating visualizations is really easy despite the variety of options. It's a number one tool for product analysis I use nearly everyday. It also helps a lot with communication with users - e.g. by creating cohorts you'd like to poke based on their activities (and later exporting them e.g. to Intercom).
What do you dislike about the product?
Recently its performance has downgraded. Not sure if it's my "fault" of having just too much data or it was up to adding more and more features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem it solves is that it remove fog of war re: what my users really do in the app. Based on that I can much better slice my userbase, understand impact of the features we roll out or identify most and least engaged users.
User friendly platform, great for insights and analytics
What do you like best about the product?
I would say it is the user friendly interface, easy to use all around tool for all the parts of the operations. It is really easy to integrate other platforms and also to implement them.
What do you dislike about the product?
It could be a bit too many tools to use to get the feeling of what is needed for me and my team.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude solves our overall business analytics and also allow us to go as detailed as per campaign or channel used in digital marketing
Powerful Analytics, Could Use Better Comparison Tools
What do you like best about the product?
I find the segmentation funnel charts incredibly useful, as they resolve many of my analysis questions. The event streaming feature offers real-time insights into user actions. I also appreciate the integration capabilities, especially the syncing with Snowflake, which serves both as a source and destination.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it challenging that Amplitude does not provide much help in comparing data across different time periods. When analyzing the same funnel over two different periods, it can be difficult to understand why conversion rates might be high on one day and low on another. Amplitude doesn’t effectively clarify the distinctions in user behavior between these periods, which requires me to delve deeply into the data myself. This lack of guidance in solving the 'whys' behind different user patterns and behaviors is somewhat frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude solves the dilemma of tracking user interactions not captured by BI tools, enhancing understanding with real-time event visibility and segmenting funnel charts. It streamlines onboarding by showcasing events and properties, syncing data for deeper insights and improved conversion strategies.
My experience with Amplitude
What do you like best about the product?
The UI is easy to use, all available features are self-explanatory and the way data is shown to you it's easy to interpret.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would love for the alert system to go a bit more in depth i.e: possibility to schedule alerts on specific days of the month, alert frequency based on recurrence of KPI abnormally by X%.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Helps me make informed decisions when analyzing app data. This helps the business know when to prioritize on investigating or fixing a potential issue and allocate resources accordingly.
Easy onboarding, countless insights
What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude has been a valuable tool in my organisation to better understand user behaviours across our product. We have been using it daily for over three years and it has helped us dissect where drop-off is happening, where users are getting confused, and be able to target those users with A/B tests. Getting started was relatively self-explanatory and the online guides were short and simple to understand. Our tech team was able to set it up without issue. We tie the insights from Amplitude into some of our other data using Metabase, which was also a relatively straightforward thing to set up.
When Amplitude changed their pricing tiers, we were fully supported in understanding which tier fit best for us and were able to find a cost-effective way to continue to use Amplitude and make the most of their ever-growing set of features.
One of my favourite tools in Amplitude is combining the funnel tool with the user journey tool to better understand where our users are going when they aren't following the happy path.

What do you dislike about the product?
The biggest gap I find with Amplitude is in using it to create simple WoW reports, which is a common ask from stakeholders and upper management. Ideally, there would be a way to not just share a snapshot of now, but also what changed in the last X days, and whether it changed positively or negatively.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude allows my team to better understand who our users are and how they are interacting with our product. This data supports our ability to create personas and cohorts that we can target with new features and feature tests. It also highlights areas of our product that are not performing well, or certain cohorts that might not be engaging in the way we want. Ultimately, this means better uptake across the product and better-informed decisions about our product.
