Super easy to use if you need to track event analytics!
What do you like best about the product?
Eeasy to build charts, dashboards and funnel reports.

Using filters and groups was a learning curve.

We're tracking clicstream, event analytics with Amplitude. It's easy to track different user flows.

Amplitude makes it easy to track user behavior across the product and build meaningful funnels, cohorts, and retention charts without needing constant engineering support.

Amplitude helps us understand how users interact with our product, identify drop-off points, and measure the impact of new features. This enables faster, data-driven decisions and continuous product improvement.
Unlocking Deep Behavioral Insights with Amplitude
What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude provides an incredibly intuitive interface for analyzing user behavior across digital products. I particularly appreciate the flexibility in creating complex cohorts, setting up funnels, and visualizing retention trends without needing to write any code. The real-time analytics capabilities are outstanding and have helped our team make data-driven decisions quickly. Additionally, the integrations with other tools and CDPs streamline our workflow and improve the consistency of our data across platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Amplitude is a powerful tool, its learning curve can be steep for team members without a strong analytics background. Some advanced features, like derived properties and custom formulas, require deeper knowledge to fully leverage. Additionally, the pricing model can become a concern as data volume grows, especially for startups or smaller teams. I’d also appreciate more granular control over user permissions for managing complex projects.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude helps us solve the critical challenge of understanding how users interact with our product at a granular level. By providing detailed insights into user journeys, conversion rates, and retention patterns, we can identify friction points and optimize the user experience. This has directly benefited our team by enabling us to make informed product decisions, prioritize features based on data, and ultimately improve engagement and retention metrics. Additionally, the ability to easily share dashboards across teams has fostered a more data-driven culture throughout the organization.

What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to build charts, funnels and events. Also the ability to share public specific links with anyone and with real-time data saves me many hours of reporting.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although you can create literally anything using their charts and segments, it would help if they have templates for more stuff. For instance, it's quite difficult to see returning visitors and behaviors of returning visitors. You need to create a segment and after a chart with that specific segment. More templates would save me time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Track website visitors, track usage of my website and track conversions and events.
Regarding improvements to Amplitude functionality
What do you like best about the product?
In addition to its excellent analytics features, it also has features like Experiments.

The Amplitude feature does not provide Kafka integration.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
By verifying the effectiveness of marketing measures and understanding user behavior on websites, we use this data to formulate PDCA and KPIs for marketing measures.

What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude provides exhaustive options to measure various product analytics. You can set up events for any action triggered on the platform and track progress of these actions against business metrics.

It can have a little bit of a steep learning curve for people that are new to it
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude lets us track product analytics effectively. Data is imported from a datalake into Amplitude and you can create several charts and graphs to represent this data visually.
If you've got a product, you should definitely consider Amplitude!

- There's a lot of flexibility and level of detail you can add, especially if you want to do Org. and Acc. level analysis as well
- Marketing channel level report is helpful, so you are not just limited to product analytics!
- The feature flag is quite helpful though I'd like if we could control that via GTM as well!

What do you dislike about the product?
- Chrome debugging extension is good, but can get complex since the real-time view within the product is a little confusing
- Overall, the UI can be overwhelming because of so much happening, so there's a bit of a steep learning curve
- If you're new, then installation can be a bit tricky with different SDKs and so many options, even if you use a tag manager and the UI can make it a little difficult to see who can view the reports you've created unless they are explicitly shared in a space or with certain users
- Maybe some more documentation on the options available in GTM's Tag Template and their repercussions would help!

- In product analytics e.g. what are users doing, which features are they using, how much, and how the data looks like at account and org. level as well but now we are also looking into marketing level data
Easy to build amazing product analtyics
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of creating bespoke analytics is fantastic. The fair pricing by number of users and not by events is much better for startups
What do you dislike about the product?
The need to set owners and descriptions on events is unnecessary but the system badgers you into doing this actions to complete your setup

It helps us track product usage and understand what our users are doing or not doing or having difficult with.
