Powerful Analytics Platform for Data-Driven Product Teams

  • May 23, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude is great at helping Product teams understand user behavior. Its event-based tracking system allows for datailed analysis, and the cohort and funnel tools are especially powerful for identifying trends and user drop-off points. The interface is intuitive, and dashboards can be easily shared with stakeholders.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Amplitude is feature-rich, the learning curve can be steep for new users, especially when setting up custom events or advanced queries. Additionally, depending on your plan, the cost can scale quickly as your event volume grows.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude helps us track how clients are using new features in our software. By visualizing the total number of events per client, we can quickly understand adoption patterns, identify which features are gaining traction, and detect early signs of disengagement. This allows our team to make informed decisions about product improvements, prioritize support for specific clients, and measure the impact of feature releases in a data-driven way.

What do you dislike about the product?
The cost is still significant and it remains a non-European tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Follow A/B tests, monitor activation funnels, or validate navigation hypotheses.

What do you like best about the product?
I find it pretty intuitive, the interface is clean and nicely put, and data is easy to analyze.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can’t say, really. Most of our dashboard are in Amplitude and that’s what we use. I gotta say, I haven build the dashboard, I just digest the information. So I don’t about whether building those dashboards was painful or not.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude allows us to see our end-to-end funnel data in one go, making it easy to understand funnel bottle necks and potential areas for improvement

Quick actionable data inputs

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The platform excels at event-based analytics, cohort analysis, and user journey tracking, helping teams understand not just what users are doing, but why. Its intuitive UI, customizable dashboards, and powerful segmentation tools make it easy to identify patterns, test hypotheses, and make fast, data-informed decisions that drive growth.
What do you dislike about the product?
Steep learning curve for new users (like custom events, advanced funneling, and behavioral cohorts)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps answer critical questions like: Where are users dropping off? What features drive retention? Which user segments are most valuable? Before Amplitude, getting these insights required manual data pulls or waiting on BI teams, which slowed down decision-making.

What do you like best about the product?
Creating custom dashboard per campaign which allows us to track our campaigns in real time and Optimise them
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the user interface was a bit more initiative with drag and drop charts easy to update. As currently you have to dig into each chart with a page refresh taking you to another page and then returning back to your main report takes alot of time especially when you have multiple charts on a template
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can have a single dashboard showing customer journey with ease to share these custom dashboard focusing on campaign goals to Marketing Teams

I'm a Senior QA and I use Amplitude for a variety of tasks

  • May 13, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I want to preface this by saying I'd describe myself as a light user of Amplitude, but it is still an essential part of my day-to-day work

ease of use - I primarily use Amplitude to check analytics when testing my app, and adding my test accounts to experiments. I also use it to monitor feature rollout and uptake after releases. I think Amplitude comes across as a very professional product and I enjoy using it.

Customer Support - I have not been involved with Amplitude Customer Support.

Frequency of Use - Almost every day

Number of features - I feel like I only use a select number of features (analytics, rollout stats, feature flag experiments) - however I am fully satisfied with how they work

ease of integration - Amplitude is integrated properly and as a core component of our overall workflow. I was not personally involved in implementing it, but I can say it has been easy to pick up.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the product is very uniform which is greta, but more visual distinction between features would be great. I guess what I'm saying is a lot of amplitude screens are same-samey if that makes sense.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Verifying logging is enabled and working correctly, overview of feature rollouts and uptake, being able to manipulate test accounts into user groups to test certain features
