Intuitive and Insightful with Minor Duplication Hiccups
What do you like best about the product?
I like that the interface of Amplitude Analytics is easy to understand, making understanding data a lot easier. I quite like the AI assistant as it works as a good sense check for queries and helps me construct flows without having to reach out to other teams for help. I also like that you can create custom metrics, although sometimes there are lots of duplicates.
What do you dislike about the product?
I like that you can create custom metrics but sometimes there are lots of duplicates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude Analytics helps me understand user interaction, identify pain points, and the AI assistant enables me to construct flows without additional team help.
Solid product analytics with an expanding offering
What do you like best about the product?
A good range of charts and graphs, pretty flexible reporting. Easy enough to use once you've got the hang of the interface.
Being able to store the tracking plan in the same place that the data lands is useful for quality checks and to give everyone documentation to reference when they're using the data.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes there are things that seem simple on the face of it that I want to report on that I struggle to find a way to achieve. I'm not 100% sure if it's me not finding the way, or if the way doesn't exist.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We need to track things like feature adoption, feature usage, cohort behavior etc. and Amplitude gives us the tools to define our tracking plan and then track against it, and then query the data to track metrics and answer ad-hoc questions.
Reliable and scalable analytics I keep returning to
What do you like best about the product?
I'm a product manager at a startup and have tried several analytics tools over the years. Amplitude is the one I keep coming back to — I’m now implementing it for the third startup I’ve worked with. I was able to set it up from scratch each time, and it consistently proves to be powerful, flexible, and indispensable for understanding user behavior and driving product decisions.
What do you dislike about the product?
User attribution can be difficult to manage, especially when trying to track users across sessions or devices. But in fairness, this is a limitation I’ve encountered in all analytics tools, not just Amplitude.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude helps me deeply understand user behavior across the product — where users drop off, which features drive engagement, and what actions correlate with retention. This enables our team to prioritize the right features, improve onboarding, and increase activation rates. Without it, we’d be making product decisions in the dark.
Amplitude is a powerful analytics tool
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to build funnels, cohorts, retention charts, and path analyses, without needing to code. It also allows to create collaborative dashboards.
What do you dislike about the product?
This isn't something I dislike, but it's important to highligh that there is a learning curve for users who aren't afamiliar with analytics concepts or event-based data models.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Amplitude we're able to analyze data about the digital products, identify drop-off points and measure retention.
Good analytics to make proper corrections
What do you like best about the product?
Session replays (you have chance not only recheck visited pages but get more detailed information)
What do you dislike about the product?
It is rather difficult to say so as we have not to much time to discover dislike points
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
we give actual information to improve our content
Super quick to navigate through once you get a hang of it.
What do you like best about the product?
As a busy engineer, I like that the learning curve is not much and almost straightforward with Amplitude to get the product analytics that I want for the features that I care about.
What do you dislike about the product?
The taxonomy needs to be finalised and meticulously thought about. Often, we forget to add more events. I would love if it could have some form of automatic instrumentation, like DataDog's Synthetic RUM sessions do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It lets me plot graphs of queries that I want and compare how the users are engaging with the features we have shipped.
Intuitive experience
What do you like best about the product?
GenAI that quickly creates the graph you are looking to build
What do you dislike about the product?
Managing projects and permissions, not having actual URLs that are shareable for projects
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Facts about users, analysis of features, tracking KPI goals
A great all-in-one tool if you want to do both analytics and experimentation
What do you like best about the product?
My company uses Amplitude daily for our insights, experimentation, and cohort creation for outreach. For a single tool it's very comprehensive and you can use the same behavioral or demographic data all in one tool instead of having a separate analytics platform, experimentation platform, and personalization platform.
Training materials and documentation are great, and if that doesn't cover my needs I am very confident that I could use either the community forums, office hours, or customer support to get quick answers.

What do you dislike about the product?
It can be cumbersome to use with nonstandard implementations - our team uses Unity and a custom Amplitude implementation, so some features aren't available to us like restarting AB tests or using ampli for telemetry validation as code is being written.
Amplitude's automatic identity resolution doesn't apply to exports to data warehouses, so more effort is needed to get the same results with the same events in another BI tool.
It's also difficult to look at data over long periods of time. In general there's a 365 day lookback and in aggregate a 12-quarter lookback (and some flexibility for YoY comparisons)
Data is democratized and it's easy enough for anyone who needs it to make charts, but it can be difficult to ensure that others in the company are finding consistent insights.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Understanding user behaviors and the demographics of our userbase. Understanding the performance of new releases both from the standpoint of adoption as well as application performance metrics.
It also solves our need for experimentation as well as identifying user groups for outreach (such as with user research)

Great graphs that lead to significant knowledge
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to include new metrics and the graphs created are great. You can interact with the graphs too.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although it is very easy to share, it lacks some customization. For example, embeddings always take a fix height that can't be changed.
Custom alerts are not easy to create, nor intuitive.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is providing key metrics to our observability solution, providing useful knowledge in the business workflows.
