Powerful analytics with intuitive event tracking
What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude offers a clean, intuitive interface for tracking user behavior and analyzing product performance. The real-time dashboards make it easy to identify trends, segment users, and measure the impact of experiments. I particularly like the event segmentation and funnel analysis tools — they make deep insights accessible without needing SQL knowledge.
What do you dislike about the product?
The learning curve for advanced features can be steep, especially when setting up complex behavioral cohorts or custom formulas. While the documentation is helpful, more in-context guidance inside the product would reduce the initial setup time for new users. Additionally, some integrations require manual configuration steps that could be more seamless.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude helps us understand how users interact with our product in real time, which solves the challenge of making data-driven decisions without heavy engineering involvement. By tracking events, creating funnels, and analyzing retention patterns, we can quickly identify drop-off points, optimize onboarding flows, and measure the success of new features. This has led to faster iteration cycles, improved user engagement, and higher feature adoption rates, all backed by clear, visual data rather than guesswork.
Over all it's great and we would like to see more of user journey based on interaction
What do you like best about the product?
It's constantly improving and acquisition of the new tools like branch systems, sdks are pretty handy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some time I do see events takes time and in live updates we would like to see some filters.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We do rely on user actions and what they have and based on that we make dashboard which are helpful determining our customers for long run.
Experimenting with confidence
What do you like best about the product?
As a designer, Amplitude is a crucial tool for me to keep track of how the recent experiments are performing. I love that I can freely type a query and it fetches the right tracking board for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
One first go it can seem a little complex for designers but after sometime, it really becomes a crucial tool for day to day.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude lets me track the performance of recent releases and experiments. It makes our design process data aware and helps us make decisions with confidence. Since it’s so easy to set up and navigate, the designers love this tool.
Easy to use and adapt
What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude Analytics is highly valued for its intuitive, event-based tracking that enables deep user behavior insights without requiring SQL. It excels in cohort analysis, retention tracking, and funnel visualization, making it easy for product, marketing, and analytics teams to self-serve data and make quick, informed decisions. Its real-time reporting, user journey mapping, and seamless integrations with tools like Segment and Snowflake further enhance its effectiveness for growth and product optimization.
What do you dislike about the product?
Amplitude can become expensive as usage scales, especially for advanced features. Additionally, its learning curve can be steep for non-technical users unfamiliar with event-based analytics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude Analytics helps us track user behavior across the platform in real-time, enabling data-driven decision-making. By providing detailed insights into user journeys, feature adoption, and drop-off points, it allows teams to optimize product experiences, improve engagement, and drive retention. Its cohorting and funnel capabilities also aid in measuring the impact of product changes effectively.
Good for launching product startups and gathering quick insights
What do you like best about the product?
Simple easy to use. Low learning curve for product managers and non engineers
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing for advanced users where I want to get complex statistics. Formulaes are something that does not get into my mind.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
User behavior analysis, Funnel analysis, individual user journey
Useful Insights but Could Benefit from a More Intuitive UI
What do you like best about the product?
The dashboards created by colleagues provide valuable insights into platform usage by my clients.
Helpful for understanding which features are being used and the frequency of usage.
Useful for reviewing and analyzing client behavior and feature adoption trends.

What do you dislike about the product?
The Amplitude UI is not the most user-friendly and can be difficult to navigate.
The interface feels less intuitive compared to other industry-standard analytics tools.
A simpler, more streamlined design would improve usability, especially for occasional users like myself.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude Analytics is solving the problem of understanding user behavior and feature adoption within the Qualtrics platform. By providing dashboards that track which features clients are using and how frequently, it enables teams to gain insights into product usage patterns and customer engagement. For me, this benefits my work by giving visibility into how clients interact with the platform, helping inform decisions or discussions around product improvements and client support. Although I primarily rely on dashboards created by others, the data helps me monitor platform performance and better understand client needs.
Super powerful once you know your way around
What do you like best about the product?
I love how quickly I can slice data in different ways and actually get the answers I need without waiting on dev support. The breakdowns, filters, and dashboards make it easy to spot trends and share them with the team. It’s flexible enough to go from a quick check to a deep dive in the same tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
It’s not the most beginner-friendly — the interface can feel a bit heavy at first, and some things take a while to find. Once you learn it, it’s fine, but there’s definitely a learning curve before it feels second nature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us understand how users interact with our product so we can make better decisions, faster. We can quickly see what’s working, where users drop off, and which features drive engagement. This means we can prioritize the right improvements and measure the impact of changes without waiting on custom reports.
A must for product and analysts alike
What do you like best about the product?
Tool is excellent to analyze some of the most important metrics in a software business: retention, funnel performance, analyzing results of testing, etc. It is used on an almost daily basis, to track performance across our products in the business. It is quite simple to use after some interaction with it.
What do you dislike about the product?
No downsides from the user perspective. Perhaps a more comprehensive "Amplitude University". Still, there is a lot of material already available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Funnel optimization (onboarding, traffic, etc), performance for tests (A/B, Painted Door tests, etc).
Great UX, easy to build data, sign in is a bit clunky
What do you like best about the product?
Great UX, easy to read and decipher. Typically easy to navigate too and wealth of data building options
What do you dislike about the product?
Sign in, whilst important for security reasons, is a little clunky, particularly having to do every day. Also exporting CSV reports has to be done one by one. Would like to click multiple cohorts / options and then export just once.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Understand digital clicks / customer landing on site to get an early read on volumes. Also can capture real time inflow and top up data for deposits activity to understand volumes coming in day on day.
Using Amplitude for B2C Product Analytics
What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude gives me the edge to analyse the customer journeys and funnel analysis with proper metrics. It helps me to find the exact drop off points, average time take in every step of a funnel. It also helps us to create our custom dashboards which are used regularly very easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
Building complex funnels, cohorts, or retention reports can feel intimidating without training for marketing folks. If the UI is more user friendly it can save more time for the team
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude helps me to analyse the entire funnel of the app journey. Starting from install, signup, KYC, deposit & investment journey of the users. I am able to analyse drop offs and user friction points using the funnel analysis. I am also able to create custom cohorts and analyse their performance. Over the year we use Amplitude to do A/B testing of feature, journeys and messaging and find the best solution for our customers.
