All-in-One Solution for Product Managers with Powerful Customization
What do you like best about the product?
First of all, it includes all the essential features that a product manager like myself requires—from tracking user interactions on my platform, to enabling me to create guides, gather feedback through surveys, and set up feature gates. What I appreciate most is the high degree of customization that Amplitude offers when analyzing usage patterns, as well as the session replays, which have been invaluable for understanding user journeys and identifying points of friction.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it's hard to understand how certain measurements are taken. Creating user segments doesn't retroactively update the charts statistics if you add or remove things from it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It allows me and my team to understand the core user journeys on our platform and make decisions about how they can be improved. It also allows me to produce insights for my senior leadership about product usage and statistics used by other teams.
Feature-Rich and User-Friendly, But AI Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the amount of features and capabilities that are offered in Amplitude. It was quite easy for me to create charts for a new launch, analyze recent data with the past few months data and make decisions. the plug and play UI for filtering events etc are convenient and time saving.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found the leverage of AI quite low within Amplitude. While i could have a basic chart ready based ont the requirement statement or prompt, its still not accurate. The chat window or UI surrounding it is clunky making further prompts or tweaks less user friendly. It saved lot of time for users if the AI accuracy and ease of use can be improved
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it enables me to measure the impact / adoption of new feature launch, figure out what parts of it are less accessed and optimize for it and also evaluate what decisions had the maximum result,
User-Friendly and Easy Integration, But Charting Features Could Improve
What do you like best about the product?
The platform is straightforward to use and easy to integrate. A project manager can operate it independently, requiring only minimal supervision from a data analyst.

At times, I find it a bit too limiting when it comes to building charts.

Gaining insight into product frictions and conducting experiments has been valuable. It helps me identify obstacles within the product and test different approaches to improve the overall experience.

Simplified School Data Tracking with Room for Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the ability to tag individual users into groups, allowing me to easily group them by school. This feature makes it simple to track and analyze usage per school. It has significantly streamlined my reporting process, as I can send a public link to contacts at each school, enabling them to see their usage live, which was previously done through time-consuming reports on Canva. I also love that I can view what individual schools are looking at and how often they log in, providing insights into specific user activities. The transition from Mixpanel to Amplitude Analytics was driven by the need for clearer graphics in user reports, and Amplitude delivers on that front effectively. Finally, I found the initial setup straightforward and manageable due to the training I received, which enabled me to create charts and analyze specific user behaviors with ease.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have some concerns with the tagging feature not accurately identifying users, which results in them being shown as anonymous. This limits our ability to get an accurate count of how many people are logging in. Additionally, I find it challenging to get in touch with a knowledgeable support person. The technical support is broad and doesn't provide an opportunity to talk through specific issues, which I find frustrating.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Amplitude Analytics lets me share live usage data with schools, eliminating the need for time-consuming custom reports and improving real-time insights.

It'd be nice if event data was organized for users.

Can look at behavioral user data - self-serve.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lots of features; sometimes can be hard to know what setting to use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monitoring user behavior and running experiments - helps me know what features are working and not.
Powerful Analytics with a Steep Learning Curve and Pricing Challenges
What do you like best about the product?
The concept of deep analytics for your product is truly impressive. My initial experience, particularly when working with my B2B customers, has been remarkable.
What do you dislike about the product?
One drawback is the considerable technical expertise required simply to begin using the platform and to operate it regularly. The learning curve tends to be gradual, which can make adoption difficult for certain teams. Furthermore, the monetization model charging per monthly active user—may not suit all businesses, particularly B2C companies that rely on a freemium-to-premium strategy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having in-depth analytics for the team is crucial to truly understand what users are doing. One of their most appreciated features is the user activity cycle reporting, which provides a clear and quick overview of user behavior. This has proven to be really helpful.

This insight allows me to develop website features targeted to client needs. The setup process for Amplitude was straightforward, and attending webinars organized by Amplitude provided me with better knowledge on its usage. I find the web engagement interface and the ability to track session data and bounce rates on the home screen incredibly useful, which helps me understand client behavior. The experimentation capability is excellent for deploying and testing new features. Additionally, the product analytics feature provides valuable insights into overall active users, weekly active users, and average sessions. These features greatly benefit my business by allowing me to improve my service and product offerings, making Amplitude a crucial tool I would repurchase and confidently recommend on a scale of 10.

Nothing much, the services were great and I enjoy them
