Excellent Graphics, Immediate Results

What do you like best about the product?
I love the number of charts that Amplitude Analytics offers to use. Being able to see conversion and segmentation charts by unique events allows me to quickly reach a conclusion. With the charts, I can understand if my paid media actions are yielding results in terms of visits and also if my SEO strategies make sense. I also appreciate being able to see the performance of my conversion funnels and detect at what point users get stuck and drop off.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think they should encourage you to use the other types of charts by providing real use cases! For example, the Retention chart, or the engagement matrix, user sessions, etc. Perhaps with quick guides to explain how each type of chart works.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Amplitude Analytics to understand the site's performance, improve conversions, capture attributions, and optimize usage funnels. The charts allow me to analyze the results of paid media and SEO strategies, and detect points where users abandon the funnels.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Amplitude Analytics helps me figure out how my product is doing and how users are interacting with it easily. It's very easy to use yet comprehensive. I also appreciate the ability to slice and dice data just the way I want. Despite having a lot of features, it's still approachable and simple, yet a complex powerhouse. The event segmentation feature lets me view data based on any event and see the frequency and quantity of events triggered per user. Additionally, the funnel reporting and user flow features are fantastic, allowing me to filter events or properties to focus on what I need. The retention reports are great as well, letting me segment users based on cohorts or behaviors and see which events lead to retention. The initial setup was very easy, and I have used it with other tools like customer.io and measurement partners for ads. I've switched my teams to Amplitude Analytics from other platforms multiple times, and I highly recommend it.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing - its awesome.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Amplitude Analytics to easily understand how my product is doing and how my users are using it. It's easy to use and comprehensive, with great features like event segmentation, funnel reporting, and retention reports that help control and analyze user behavior.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the intuitive user experience of Amplitude Analytics and how simple it is to build charts and track user activity. The AI aspect is also a great feature, making the process of building charts even easier. The intuitive user experience helps make building dashboards less overwhelming for the final user.
What do you dislike about the product?
The solution is lagging especially if there are too many events coming in real-time. The live events list becomes blank or takes time to load. The mobile (responsive) version is not optimized enough for mobile phones.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Amplitude Analytics to track user activity, get an overview of behavior, and access meaningful statistics through charts and dashboards. The intuitive interface and AI features simplify building dashboards, making it less overwhelming for the final user.

What do you like best about the product?
I love Amplitude Analytics for its excellent and intuitive user interface, which significantly enhances my experience. The ease with which I can add another chart to my dashboard with just a few simple clicks is great, allowing for seamless ad-hoc analysis in the segmentation chart playground. This interface not only improves usability but also ensures that I can quickly gain insights without needing to rely on Analysts. I value the ability to independently measure our main KPIs and those at the widget level, making it an invaluable tool for product analytics. Overall, Amplitude Analytics provides the convenience and efficiency I need to evaluate performance metrics effortlessly.
What do you dislike about the product?
To use Amplitude Analytics effectively, I must be highly skilled and thoroughly understand all events and their limitations. This process takes considerable time to learn and requires consistently keeping track of every new event that is introduced. While I don't expect Amplitude Analytics to teach me all of this, it's a necessary preliminary step to use the platform well and avoid errors.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate Amplitude Analytics for its remarkable speed, particularly in generating charts and processing the daily event stream. These features provide me with immediate insights, allowing me to quickly assess user interactions and the performance of various features within my app. The speed of the charts means I don’t have to wait long to get critical data, which helps me make timely decisions. Additionally, the daily event stream offers substantial visibility into daily app usage patterns, giving me a detailed understanding of user behavior. This real-time insight is crucial for optimizing app performance and enhancing user experience. The onboarding process with Amplitude Analytics was also a pleasure, as it was quite easy and breezy, allowing for a smooth transition. I am so pleased with the product that I would rate it a 10 out of 10 in terms of recommending it to friends or colleagues. The decision to switch from Clevertap to Amplitude Analytics was primarily driven by the latter’s speed and efficiency, which significantly surpassed its predecessor.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Amplitude Analytics provides valuable insights into user behavior, showcasing how people navigate through the app, identify where they get stuck, and evaluate conversion efficiency. This capability is incredibly important for assessing new features and maintaining the health of core app flows. I appreciate the ease of setting up charts and dashboards, which align perfectly with my expectations when interacting with the interface through buttons or elements. The addition of the AI-helper has enhanced my experience significantly, enabling me to easily query for insights and swiftly set up analyses like understanding time to conversion, with the flexibility to make adjustments as needed. These features collectively make Amplitude Analytics an essential tool for product analytics, and I would highly recommend it to others, rating it a perfect 10.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it hard to explain to my engineers how they should send stuff to Amplitude. When it's a new person, I would like some help in explaining what I would like and how they can set it up. I also tried to set up a connection to Airship but it failed.

Faced challenges in visualization flexibility but have consistently delivered key insights through fast data access and feature tracking

  • November 20, 2025
  • Review provided by PeerSpot

What is our primary use case?

My main use case for Amplitude is serving as the analytics lead, creating dashboards on Amplitude, exporting data from Amplitude to Snowflake for different analytics questions, measuring the performance of our game, and supporting user acquisition. There are multiple sources and destinations, and I need to connect everything with Amplitude to obtain all sorts of analytical solutions from our game.

A quick, specific example of how I use Amplitude to solve an analytics question occurs when the product team CEO asks about the performance of one of our features, such as our daily task feature in the game. I quickly create a simple chart based on the percentage of daily active users engaged with the daily task feature or even a more complicated chart showing the percentage of eligible daily active users or how many daily active users are completing all three challenges. In this way, I can answer simple and quick analytical questions without coding.

I find the process of creating these charts and reports in Amplitude to be easy to use, and I can create a variety of charts and reports. However, for some use cases, I cannot create the exact charts according to the requirement, so I use SQL through Amplitude data because we migrated and downloaded Amplitude data to Snowflake, where I use SQL. For most use cases, if I can find simple answers from Amplitude, I don't require SQL or any other resources, so it is quite useful and fast.

Amplitude is very useful for getting something really quick, as product managers and CEOs want fast answers to their questions and fast analysis. Amplitude is really useful for quick and fast answers, and we have created multiple dashboards for all our products, allowing us to create numerous charts. I think it is really useful.

What is most valuable?

The best features Amplitude offers include everything, and the variety of charts they can create, as well as Amplitude data where I can combine all my sources and destinations, are key features. Even if we don't use them much due to our plan or tier that Amplitude provides, I still feel that is useful.

The most valuable chart types and integrations for my analysis include main segmentation, which is really useful for most of my work since we want to get the game performance based on the percentage of daily active users doing this or that. The second chart type would be the funnel for checking how any feature in our game works. There is always use for retention charts to understand how retention flow works for our game, as well as user sessions to check user session engagement. For complex calculations, I also create some data tables. These are the charts we use. For destinations, we use Snowflake as a destination when we download all the data from Amplitude to Snowflake, where we ingest event and user data from Unity, allowing us to obtain media sources and campaign information easily from Unity to Amplitude.

Amplitude has positively impacted our organization by helping with all our product performance and has been an integral part of our product team on our product journey. We are collecting data based on Amplitude and using Amplitude data format to send to Snowflake, and for quick calculations, we also use Amplitude, so all data-related tasks are dependent on Amplitude.

Specific outcomes that show how Amplitude has helped my team or business include time savings for us in understanding the overall performance of the game. Based on Amplitude charts and outcomes, our product team takes decisions, so it has improved decision-making. We also analyze engagement of different features in our game, and based on Amplitude charts, we have made product decisions that have helped increase engagement.

What needs improvement?

Amplitude is almost perfect, but there are some charts I cannot create due to the large data structure. For those, I need to use Excel or SQL sometimes. It would be great if we could have various types of graphs available, but overall, it is a perfect product.

Regarding needed improvements, speed is fine and integration is fine. Support could be improved. Sometimes I need to create a ticket and communicate with one of their advisors via email. Providing live chat support would be more helpful.

For how long have I used the solution?

I have been using Amplitude for more than three years.

What do I think about the scalability of the solution?

Amplitude's scalability has handled our growing data and user needs well until now, and I am hopeful it will continue to do so in the future.

How are customer service and support?

I would say customer support is adequate. It is neither too good nor too bad. I think there could be live chat support for different types of charges or solutions that would be more helpful, but the current support is fine. It is not too bad and certainly not perfect.

How would you rate customer service and support?

Neutral

What other advice do I have?

The experiment feature and more advanced features, such as some AI tools available in the market with Amplitude, are things I am interested in learning.

My advice for others looking into using Amplitude is to appreciate its speed of execution. It can generate quick charts and solutions for all your product needs. Its integrations work seamlessly with multiple software, including Unity and various others that we have, and it is relatively affordable compared to other products in the market, so it is perfect.

Amplitude is a perfect product that will always fulfill all the data-related needs that your company has, and I would suggest anyone to go for it. I rate the overall solution as a 9 out of 10.
