My Amplitude experience
What do you like best about the product?
I really like the funnel charts, they helped me create interesting visuals and dive deeper into the data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Amplitude is really good but one drawback is how not everything was tagged properly for our product, and so we didn't always get the most accurate numbers when analyzing our data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude is solving the problem of understanding our users and data better.

What do you like best about the product?
It's straightforward to learn how to use the product and is very responsive and fast with populating charts and reports.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dashboards do not work smoothly in general and there is no btn to refresh all the reports in a dashboard.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We primarily use Amplitude to measure the changes we make in the product and we want to see how if affects our customers' behavior.
Good but could use some improvements
What do you like best about the product?
Graphical presentation of data is super helpful for sharing complex data sets with groups.
What do you dislike about the product?
The data set restriction flow is often tricky to implement. So creating cohorts from different countries for a fixed time frame often creates trouble.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking disparate use case and customer profiles across time/geographies. The clarity of data helps us make decisions in a timely manner.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that you can create very informative charts in a short amount of time. I also like that there is built-in functionality to filter and group users based on their device, location, version number, and browser.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was better support for building AB test charts. For example, I wish I could build user groups based on users that performed an event with a given condition, instead of just users that performed a specific event.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude is helping us refine our conversion funnel by rapidly iterating on our ideas. We could write the code and start analyzing data in the same day. My team also has a lot of share dashboards that make sharing our findings very easy.

Amplitude makes it easy to sort through data without relying on SQL queries.
What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude makes it easy to order and swap events when looking at funnel conversions or user segmentation. It is also easy to add where clauses to specific events, or specify user buckets.
What do you dislike about the product?
When looking at individual events and how often they happen (e.g., how many times a user triggered eventA), I can only see hourly breakdowns. I think the option is available at a higher price point, but not for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude has helped me identify the largest dropoff steps in our app onboarding process. It provides an easy visual graph that I can share with developers and stakeholders alike.
An Excellent tool if you need to understand user funnel, session or segmentation of your customers.
What do you like best about the product?
How powerful Amplitude is regarding calculation of anomalies and forecasting for revenue or sellings. The AB testing tool are also very powerfull and will help your team to dev the best app very easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
The solution is still young and work in progress. The data gouvernance add-on is still in beta, and will need some improvement in order to be excellent. Another point, there is no customisation yet, Dashboard organisation are not fully impletemented.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude solved user signing-up optimisation for us, and help us understand the funnel toward subscription. We also use it to understand how our customers use our apps, with multiple very interesting KPIs and charts available.
Great tool for quick data exploration and routine reporting
What do you like best about the product?
Speed to execution. What normally would take 30 mins to an hour can now be completed within minutes. This is especially true for event modelling, which requires intimate knowledge of data models and many complicated joins.
What do you dislike about the product?
Visualization and querying options do not always meet the use case. Some of the reporting types (e.g. LTV) do not really work well out of the box, and could lead to misleading results.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Excessive time spent on routine reporting and ad-hoc analysis. This means having more time to do in-depth research and building data solutions, so that we as analysts can spend our time on higher-impact projects.

Powerful, accurate and fast analytics platform.
What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude analytics is easy to integrate in our products as there is support for almost all frameworks and languages. Once combined, it works like a charm and shows all the metrics we track from our application. We use Amplitude as it is beneficial for:
1. Tracking the user activities on our product, this way, we know what is the most popular feature that our users are using the most.
2. It is straightforward to create multiple analysis dashboards with relevant charts and share them with the team.
3. The ability to create reports for monitoring the various metrics and to summarise is excellent.

So far, we have had no issues with the platform, the onboarding and using this is effortless.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were always collecting lots of usage metrics, but the problem was that all the data was in some database, and it was tough to visualise it and make summary reports. Amplitude quickly solved all these issues.
