What do you like best about the product?
Very complete library of chart types, segmentation abilities, and ease of use. Creating charts with multiple variables, being able to measure unique users vs. events vs. sessions vs. session times are all incredible pieces of functionality. The filters are very comprehensive (i.e. =, !=, contains, does not contain, free form filters, selecting from drop downs). The govern tool allows you to rename variables and add descriptions to reduce dependencies on the engineering team (i.e. take stuff off their plate!). Identity management across platforms is also incredible. It does a great job of keeping track of user identities, and allows for merging of identities and histories.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's great for product analytics, but I find it harder to understand things around SEO, inbound traffic (e.g. filter by type of traffic). So far, the correlation tool has been cool to look at, but hasn't really found anything ground breaking yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Better insight into customer activity on site, and a little bit of baselineing on retention. Helps make decisions on what features are being used, not used, or even impacted in cases of outages / bugs etc.
Fastest analytics tool
What do you like best about the product?
The speed at which amplitude works is unreliable, the tool is so optimized that you forget that this beast is handling millions of queries at a single point in time.
What do you dislike about the product?
there is nothing just as I disklike anything of amplitude, but I would like to have a few more features. there should be an option to request features and get them made live.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to use and understand the data I am working on. I am able to go from the homepage to a newly created chart in a very short amount of time, without having to tinker with any SQL.
What do you dislike about the product?
Creating an OR statement in charts is not as quick/easy/straightforward and means I have to create custom events/cohorts first.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Understanding user flows troubleshooting misfiring events.
Amplitude is an essential tool for product management
What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude is helpful with understanding user behaviour, feature adoption, identifying issues and tracking transactions. It is quite user friendly compared to Google Analytics for example.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are many charts that I don't know how to use. It takes some time to learn how to use Amplitude fully. There was a chart that has been removed that I would like to use again to track users' paths.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude is helpful with understanding user behaviour, feature adoption, identifying issues and tracking transactions. In my day-to-day, it really helps me track how my product is performing.
I am able to get useful information on how our sites are performing everyday.
What do you like best about the product?
How we can manipulate data of events and attributes to view the information that we want, creating funnel analysis, conversion rates, percentages, etc
I don't know many other platforms like Amplitude, but it seems to serve its purpose very well

What do you dislike about the product?
Since there are so many tools and functionalities, it is challenging to learn and remember everything.
I believe it could be more user-friendly, especially when creating charts. It can be confusing to select the right data and filters and format the chart correctly.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us discover possible bugs and errors our clients might be facing when trying to navigate. Also, we can get insights on the site performance and how we could improve it.
Awesome product - my GO-TO for analytics
What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive UX - and in my opinion, the best-in-class tool to help navigate product analytics. You're able to slice and dice your data in many chart templates that they provide that make it easy to figure out the answer to your question. It's easier to use than Mixpanel
What do you dislike about the product?
While I am a fan of this tool, I do think the next bit is putting the data to work. It's primarily read-only and understanding the data from an events-basis, but as PM's, we all know that's only half the battle. Are there ways for Amplitude to be more closely integrated into the experience such as what Tealeaf and Hotjar supports or how you can tag segments and create ad-hoc experiences like how Pendo does? Thinking about how to expand the use cases to capture more of the market.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're solving the what problem in understanding how our users behave in our product, identifying funnel leaks E2E so that we can improve on them, and understanding who are different cohorts are.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, collaboration, auto-filling makes it really convenient
What do you dislike about the product?
Need to know how events are configured to get started
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Understanding funnel drop offs, understanding engagement
Easy-to-use tool for analysing product usage and building a data culture
What do you like best about the product?
The chart-building tool has a low barrier to entry. New staff only need a 15-minute training session, then they are free to build their own charts to get useful insights. Non-technical PM's and some customer-facing staff can quickly get insights by building simple Segmentation charts and Funnel reports. We also teach them how to use the event explorer, to navigate our product and see which events appear in Amplitude. This prevents them from constantly asking analysts "which event is sent on this page?"
The Notebook report type is very useful when presenting analyses. You can get all our thoughts related to the charts down, and share all charts at once with stakeholders. They can play around with the charts without breaking anything, so they see and understand the results of the analysis, and also learn more about Amplitude and chart-building at the same time.

What do you dislike about the product?
We have had a lot of problems with Amplitude Govern, the part of the tool where you create the schema for new events. It is difficult to add new events, particularly to multiple projects (one for staging and one for production). You cannot define the schema for group properties, nor can you add descriptions of groups or group properties. Because of these issues and others, we have sourced another tool that integrates with Amplitude, to create and sync our schema.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude opens up doors for analytics for a tech product. It takes the data out of the hands of a small group of analysts, and puts it in the hands of the whole company, from tech support to product leaders and front-end engineers. Funnel and Pathfinder reports enable Product teams to quickly measure the success of feature releases. Event segmentation charts allow customer support to benchmark the customer they're dealing with against all other customers.
Amplitude also allows for clear presentation of analyses results, using notebooks, and for regular inspection of charts over time, using dashboards.
