What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity of the product, the almost infinite possibilities it offers, the fact that you can track your events live using your app is game changer.
What do you dislike about the product?
UX could sometimes be better, like when editing a notebook for example. The loading time when having multiple graphs can be a bit long at times too.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Understanding how users interact with my apps, improving conversion and retention.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a good tool for all the tracking needs. However, the interface is slow at times.
Cuts down the analytics / MIS time by one tenth. Unlocks deep insights

Retention, engagement playbooks deepdives. Ease of getting a question answered very quickly. Ability to create clear/compelling notebooks that represent insights
What do you dislike about the product?
Some functionalities are not present in all analysis cuts, although it is doable by workarounds.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Unlocking growth hacks around product adoption and engagement. Have figured out journeys that were leading the users to dead ends. Have been able to figure out some retention and churn drivers and have accordingly changed our product roadmap.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Besides a very versatile product, they have a good support/training as well. Highly recommended for any product organization looking to deepdive into user behaviors and build from there. Other suites like omniture/google pale in comparison

Amplitude is extremely simple for daily use and has deep functionality for when you need to peel back the onion and do something complex.
What do you dislike about the product?
Data related to accounts (not users) doesn't backfill old event data; ensure that you have the correct data in place during implementation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm able to analyze our data to make informed product decisions based on what is working and what isn't, instead of basing them on gut feel.

Ease of use - I was able to pick Amplitude up in no time

Some chart types were hidden for me for a while and I didn't know existed until I did some heavy digging

Amplitude serves as my go-to tool to understand what's going on with my users and product. It helps our team optimize the product, flag bugs as soon as they occur and analyze our A/B tests.

Ease of implementation in code, ease of chart building and funnel/segmentation.

CSV export can be a bit clunky and slow.

Able to make data informed product and engineering decisions. We know how our customers use our tools and how changes will impact them.

What do you like best about the product?
Analyzing product data in amplitude is super easy. Previously I used Google Analytics and when I moved to my current company and saw Amplitude, I was amazed by opportunities. What I like is multiple options to filter events by every event property and the same with user segments, they can also be easily filtered by properties values. Charts in Amplitude are easy to understand and are my primary tool of everyday work.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel that more advanced concepts like Pathfinder, Stickiness, Compass are harder to understand, even with amplitude documentation I have problems with understanding data I see on those sections and when I understand them, I don't know why but I have low confidence in data that I see.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Analyzing customers behaviour, driving product decisions based on data, monitoring the everyday performance of the product, having dashboards with data, discovering user steps that lead to bug.

What do you like best about the product?
What I find most helpful about Amplitude Analytics is the ability to templatize dashboards. This feature easily allows me to view the same data types across different cohorts and subsets of users. As a result, I am able to observe differences and similarities across various personas' behaviors.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only downside I have noticed thus far is the lack of organization/categorization abilities. Currently, you can only organize dashboards and notebooks within Spaces. However, it would be beneficial to be able to create folders and sub-folders within spaces.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The biggest problem I have been able to solve with Amplitude Analytics thus far is understanding the impact of marketing campaigns and efforts. We can easily view conversions that resulted from each campaign due to being able to integrate Amplitude with our marketing tool.

The speed at which we can generate valuable insights. It generally took us weeks or months to get to the insights we are now capable of generating in minutes.

What do you dislike about the product?
I would like to be able to rename custom events or atributes. For example: we created stores with stores id´s in numbers, we always wanted to be able to rename them to their names Example: Store 1 = 100 St store
Also we would like to have permanent grouping features. By this i mean that we have the capacity to group some stores on amplitude with a tag and then be able to analyse them. This is because iw we have 200 stores it sometimes is very tedious to group them every time we need it and the other solution which is uploading the event or atributes again with the tag is not that firendly or fast.

I would recommend to others to go with the freemium version of amplitude and you will discover yourself all of the value that Amplitude will generate for you.
It will make a big difference in your marketing capabilities, your productivity and your knowledge of how your customers behave.
