Great and intuitive analytical tool
What do you like best about the product?
Intuitive interface and is very easy to use even for non-analytical roles. What I like the most are the ease of funnel building and retention analysis.
What do you dislike about the product?
Downloading files is not great. I am sure it can be improved.
Also lack of visualisation options.

The ups and downs with Amplitude
What do you like best about the product?
Incredible ability to monitor the behavioral patterns of users and build relevant reports for them. Helps tremendously with segmenting customers and targetting them accordingly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Exploring the new features requires a bit of time to understand them properly. There is still room for improvement in making it even more straightforward.
Secondly, while it still has lots of great features, it still lacks a few features which can quickly be built upon the already existing ones. I have already raised a ticket for one.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
So far mostly to understand the customer funnel, which it helps with a lot. Secondly, helps with understanding the performance of our campaigns on Braze and
using the behavioral segmentation to make it even better.

The best user analytics tool I’ve used
What do you like best about the product?
Events that were done when users were anonymous, are attributed when they sign in. Cross-device tracking is made easy and insights are much easier to gather. No other competitor makes it as easy to gather these insights.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price point is quite high - competitors out of the gate will tell you they charge x% less than Amplitude for their product, which shows how ahead Amplitude's product is.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The ultimate goal is to build better products, through;

If you can afford it, it is hands down the #1 tool.
Good tool for technical and non technical people
What do you like best about the product?
I like that it is easy to use and onboard nontechnical colleagues as well. Everyone can see the impact of their work very fast without an analytical person in between. Our customer success manager, Keith Waddoups, is very responsive, always supports us, and helps us if we have any questions or issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am missing some integrations with other tools like Adobe Campaign.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
With Amplitude, we have a good view of how our customers are using our features like add to watchlist or our hero carousel. We also have an ongoing project to send our customers push notifications if they added a title to their watchlist.

the broad range of grouping options that allow you to drill down into the source of a problem

The level of work involved in getting clean data into the system

we have been able to get an in-depth look at our courses engagement levels. As a result we optimised each course based on its weak points.
Great product for data driven teams
What do you like best about the product?
The UI is simple and fast, integrating it with our codebase was also straight forward and it's tracking plan management tool is great! Adding new events is super easy!
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to have more integrations for real-time alerts on metrics. For example, it would be good to get a Slack update every morning for our team's metrics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are reviewing experiment data using Amplitude to make the decisions that will drive the most business growth. Notebooks allow us to easily explain our experiment results to any stakeholder.

Very Great Tool for Hypothesis Testing
What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to do quick analyses and hypothesis testing with Amplitude without the need of SQL or a data scientist. Amplitude is very powerful in the way you can slice and dice data, create/upload cohorts, and create dashboards for presenting findings.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of OR statements does make certain questions harder to answer in Amplitude. Also wish there were more integrations with tools like Hubspot to measure marketing attribution to in-product events.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude helps me measure product adoption, funnel completion, a/b testing effectiveness with relative ease and quickness.
Awesome Product
What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude places the power in the team's hands. Rather than relying on the data engineers to pull data, we can examine and create charts instantly. It is a fantastic tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
There can be quite a long loading time for specific charts. It places a pretty heavy burden on my internet connection and overall computer bandwidth. I can't have too many charts open at once.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Everything. We look for drastic changes in our KPIs, which indicate a problem with the latest update. We discover issues or new areas we need to target with our following updates.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to make cohorts easily using different conditions and then analyze their behavior in various settings.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I am not able to gauge what settings is required for what deliverable, for eg, if I have to find time spent per user, I spend some time in segmentation type chart, before realising that the 'User sessions' chart is required.

I am working in a startup environment. We try to make different cohorts of users and analyse their properties.
