Easy to understand !
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to make cohorts easily using different conditions and then analyze their behavior in various settings.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I am not able to gauge what settings is required for what deliverable, for eg, if I have to find time spent per user, I spend some time in segmentation type chart, before realising that the 'User sessions' chart is required.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am working in a startup environment. We try to make different cohorts of users and analyse their properties.

What do you like best about the product?
My favorite reason for using Amplitude daily is its speed at which I can retrieve meaningful insights
What do you dislike about the product?
I'm not fond of the lack of clarity and examples for instrumenting the events. We are never sure about the best practices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Amplitude to ensure that what we are building has the desired impact. We are able to extract insights that influence our decision making and prioritzation.
True self-service product analytics platform
What do you like best about the product?
I have used many web analytics and product analytics tool, I would say amplitude is the first platform I truly see self-service possibility across the org! I love all those analytics module and a lot of fun easy exploratory visuals. Not to say, all those powerful integration/destinations amplitudes have, a really powerful tools!
What do you dislike about the product?
Some visuals/ table summary are a little bit confusing, also love to have a way to link documentation directly to UI, so ppl can explore further reading/resources easily. Alerting feature is limited and not free, wish this can be changed

The friendliest Analytics tool I've ever used
What do you like best about the product?
We love seeing all the information in real-time and how easy it is to create custom graphics.
What do you dislike about the product?
For now we are very happy, we have not encountered any obstacles
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can manage our marketing actions in real-time and make better decisions with real information in a matter of minutes
Tracking what's right and what needs fixing
What do you like best about the product?
It has a faster query time along with better visualization with the charts. The dynamic cohort are very helpful while creating different types of charts and dashboards.
What do you dislike about the product?
We need to add more features like writing a custom sql query to understand data better. Right now, there are a lot of limitations with the types of query which we can do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves many business problems and helps understand how users use our product. Segmentation, retention, pathfinder, compass is handy for different teams who are working across other domains. Most dashboards are there in amplitude itself.
Extremely intuitive, never fails to meet your expectations and listens to their users

Being able to save segments, analyzing the results for a/b tests, segmentation matrices
What do you dislike about the product?
When you can't find out who is inside the cohort without downloading them is absurd. Other than this, I haven't encountered any odd situations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In terms of product analytics, we don't use anything other than amplitude as long as it is not strictly related to data quality.

What do you like best about the product?
It's well designed, and queries run fast. Both these things compound over time and you get much more done.
What do you dislike about the product?
Amplitude lacks good guide rails that prevent bad instrumentation. Over time, instrumentation can get messy if not done very thoughtfully.

(a) to measure usage and impact of new feature, and (b) to understand drop-offs in funnels. These have helped us quickly get to what's broken and what's working

What do you like best about the product?
A critical tool for any marketing tech stack that is aimed at giving its growth and product teams a self-service analytics engine as well as behavioral cohort insights to drive lifecycle marketing - both from visualization as well as from an actionability perspective.
What do you dislike about the product?
None come to mind.
Although it is quite a complex tool, as a consequence of the sheer flexibility and features offered by the platform - hence there is a learning curve before you can utilize the full potential of the tool!

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were leveraging behavioral insights to drive hyper-personalization of our CRM campaigns. Just this aspect resulted in an uplift in our weekly conversion rate by > 50% across all our core retention metrics during the busiest time of an e-commerce venture aka Black Friday.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Getting a buy-in from your product and data teams to drive proper data governance from the start is critical to scaling adoption within the wider organization.

What do you like best about the product?
Able to see how users both in aggregate and in particular navigate & use our product- where they dropoff, how often they do things, and how these vary across groups. I have no background in analytics and can uncover these insights myself.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would appreciate better definitions (or access to definitions) for metrics like 'active user' and 'this order' vs. 'any order.' Occasionally event sub-properties are harder to make use of than regular events in small parts of the product, but this is minor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are learning how users move through our product: what stops them, makes them successful, and how different groups of users behave. This has helped us pinpoint and understand the impact of pain points and improve those methodically.

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to dice and splice data quickly into multiple ways and visualize them. The ability to share a chart url that remembers the configuration applied to it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The data governance is still a work in progress imo. The ability to create derived properties from existing properties is difficult right now. But not much to complain honestly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Segmenting customers into buckets and checking their behavior frequency and event adoption rates. Doing comparison analysis between users coming from different channels and demography.
