Great stuff
What do you like best about the product?
I like the analytic visuals you provide, makes reading things that are generally hard to digest a little easier!
What do you dislike about the product?
There's not much that I don't like, but as a newer user, navigating back to teams to find the ones I want to join was a bit tricky.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
visualizing data! Gettings things from multiple sources and getting a birdseye view of it all.
Insightful and effective, if you know how to use it.
What do you like best about the product?
There's a bit of a learning curve, but once you understand how to use Amplitude you'll be able to create a variety of charts (segmentation, funnels, etc.), compare specific time frames, create custom events, and more. It's my go-to tool for understanding how users are engaging with our products.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI can take some time to get used to. It's not immediately clear how to do certain things, such as creating custom events. Event and user properties are easy to confuse. Event and property definitions aren't required. If you aren't intimately familiar with how events/properties were set up, it can be difficult to build accurate charts and gather actionable insights from the tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For those in the organization familiar with how Amplitude is instrumented on our site and in our app, Amplitude allows for in-depth analysis of user behavior. Alerts are especially helpful, allowing us to catch unexpected shifts in behavior as soon as they appear.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're hoping to use Amplitude daily to get deep insights into your users' behavior, make sure that you are deeply familiar with how Amplitude is instrumented on your site.
Advanced Analytics and Visualization Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Even though I'm not an expert user, I really like amplitude because it helps me to easily visualize the data in dashboards, which I then use to present in meetings.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a bit hard to visualize the right data you need, but as I mentioned, I'm not an expert so I always turn to our data experts for more complex asks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Amplitude for reports and dashboards that I use to present in meetings. Really easy to visualize the numbers and make them easier for digesting
Great tool to understand funnels and user behavior
What do you like best about the product?
The granular level of detail that you can get.
What do you dislike about the product?
365 days data restriction. As a business, I would like to be able to analyze data over longer periods of time and compare it year over year. Amplitude charts break when we use more than 365 days.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it for marketing and acquisition purposes. I can analyze funnels, and conversion rates and compare by channel.

faster response
A program that allows you to share data and dashboards as well as make your own!
What do you like best about the product?
I felt like the most helpful part was that you can view and select the variables of most interest to you and then see visuals mapped out of what you're interested in looking at over time on various sections of a website. I enjoy that I can search for particular variables or attributes of interest.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that a lot of the dashboards have errors when they load and it's hard to tell if they are valid data and if they are accurate when you didn't make the actual equation. The equations can also be complicated and hard to make your own.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am just trying to see where users interact with our platform and how they have been using it. It helps me create deliverables in tandem to ensure I can compare what I collect with what we already have available as a company.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I would recommend that people using this platform understand it has a learning curve but that it can make it easy to access the data available to you company wide in a quick manner with little setbacks. It also ensures that you can look at all platform types in one program. I would take the time to learn from others using it to master equations.
powerful and useful tool
What do you like best about the product?
we can send directly from our metrics server to the Amplitude API. we can use the available charts in Amplitude to see just about anything we need to.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a bit confusing with reports, dashboards and spaces. I still don't quite get what they are all for.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
firstly we were able to validate our personas really quickly. Secondly we began analysing the flows and retention of our trial users. Thirdly we are able to implement a customer score by using event properties.
Thanks to Amplitude Analytics we can attract much more traffic to our website
What do you like best about the product?
What attracts me most about this program, is that it explains in a detailed and easy way, the failures, funnels, and obstacles that the user may have within the web page and the application, which prevents the user from continuing with the online purchase process. All results can be segmented, allowing us to classify them by customer, behavior or result, making it much easier to analyze and create effective strategies.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although we all found it a simple program to use, if you do not have the knowledge of data collection and graphics, it will be difficult to understand, so you will need guidance to get started with its use. I would also like the program to be quicker in providing results, as I feel that it does not work in real time, with the users of the day.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use this software to analyze in detail every movement of our users within the company's website, as well as the mobile application that we manage, getting to know what their routes are, which segment is the most sought after, what attracts them to return, etc., allowing us to replicate the successes and avoid the mistakes we are having on our website. The program provides route flows, diagrams and more, to see clearly and easily how the user behaves within the page, all within an easy to use interface.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
This is a perfect software for all those companies that want to improve their sales through their website and mobile application attracting more audience and getting more users interested in their products, thanks to the graphs and behavioral metrics that allows us to analyze. It has been a great help to know how the user behaves on our website, what he likes and dislikes, so we can give the customer just what he needs.
Easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use UI to create graphs, consolidate data, etc. Easy for engineers or engineering managers to add new tracking events.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish that an event didn't have to already be triggered for it to show up as a possible option in the dropdown when I'm creating charts.

Tracking customer usage of features. Helps us see how our customers are interacting with our product

What do you like best about the product?
The upside for Amplitude is that it is pretty easy to use and people easily create their own graphs

I find it hard to filter users by certain criterias
