Solid Web App analytics and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
ease of setup; ease of use; good documentation. Amplitude is a great tool for product analytics on a web app, especially at an early stage in development. Not many weak points in my experience
What do you dislike about the product?
initial meeting with sales/onboarding team was awkward - they didn't seem enthusiastic about the product or about working with us. we had to drive the meeting ourselves.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Tracking user journey's and usage analytics within our web app in a straightfoward, minimal-code-required manner. Benefits my team by making it easy to analyze how our product is being used and how frequently.

It's easy to setup and use the free tier if you're considering trying it out.

What do you like best about the product?
I absolutely love being able to build off my colleagues' created graphs and charts to expand into additional data that I might need.
We've been able to pull in Amplitude data and combine it with other analytic tools to be sure we're measuring the right thing.

What do you dislike about the product?
There can be a steep learning curve to Amplitude at first.
There are learning widgets that can help with this. Really it just takes dedicated time to learn and understand.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude helps us understand where our customers are at. We can see retention from different cross-sections of users so we understand who is using our app to its best ability and who needs a little nudge in the right direction.

If you're familiar with analytics tools you'll enjoy the comprehensive tool set available.

Some views have duplicates that we could not fully eliminate

Quick insight that are helpful for users who need to make decisions but lack time or skills for a deep analysis

What do you like best about the product?
I love how Amplitude makes it easy for team members without technical data background to extract meaningful insight quickly. This is extremely helpful for the team to make data-driven decision.
What do you dislike about the product?
Amplitude is pretty barebone, which allows team members to extract fundamental insight quickly. However, it's not as intuitive if you would like to look a layer deeper to extract more granular insight.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a marketer, it enables the team to see the impact and outcome of the marketing campaigns very quickly in real-time. That's super helpful so we can do reporting and share success and learning quickly.

What do you like best about the product?
The configurability and flexibility. We get a lot of information we need to track.
What do you dislike about the product?
The complexity of the UI. Someone who purely into data analysis and setup would probably figure their way through it better.

It tells us the success and issues with our product through metrics. Measuring usability is a key way we know we are building the right products.

Get a data analyst who can utilize the full power of this tool.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the funnel chart. It helps to measure dropoffs in conversion.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it difficult to determine which operators to use when defining segments.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is solving the problem of isolating user populations in a variety of workflows. It is benefiting me in tracking down user actions and measuring experiments.
The tool is easy to onboard, use, and get value out of. My team has is successful in using the tool

The tool functionality is extensive but can be hard to learn.

I like that I am able to create different charts and graphs in order to visualize user data.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was an easier way to export the graphs so I could easily add them to presentations.

Ability to create charts based on the events. User look-up also helps to identify the user flow

Deleting the user is only via API call, it would be nice to have delete feature on dashboard

To understand the user behavior and type of features users are involved in. How many users are upgrading to the latest mobile app versions
Great for funnel analysis
What do you like best about the product?
Ease for funnel analysis and ability to easily compare utilizing passed properties (e.g. by utm_source, utm_campaign, etc.)
What do you dislike about the product?
Funnel analysis visualization for journeys could be better improved. Answering questions such as "what are the top 3 journeys users take in order to get from event A to event B" or "what's the top 3 pages that users look at before or after triggering this event" would be helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Funnel analysis to inform product decisions (e.g. what part of the funnel we need to prioritize optimizing) and also investigating conversion rate or performance anomalies (using spikes in events to troubleshoot whether there's a bug)

Enrich events w/ properties & be strategic w/ event naming convention to improve effectiveness
