Good pre built use cases for exploring large datasets quickly & efficiently
What do you like best about the product?
Entire data is passed on to Amplitude. This makes filtering as well as complex data discovery (For most frequent use cases) easy
What do you dislike about the product?
1. No query feature
2. No way to look at data beyond 1 year time frame for daily level data

It solves the following problems:
1. Quickly let's us explore trends
2. Gives an idea of what kind of events & event properties are captured & the data distribution

Good tool to process raw logs data & also look at data trends/slice & dice data quickly.

Can conduct quick RCA to check any Anomalies

A little rigid in the framework, have to use segment or retention for specific use cases

Will meet most of your requirements if you are looking out for a powerful product analysis tool.
Great for product analytics
What do you like best about the product?
Funnels, user segmentation, cohorts, etc. All of this features make it easier for the product owner to make informated decisions
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes amplitude can be a little "Stiff". It lacks the versatility that other BI tools like tableau or power bi have in order to create custom reports
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's solving the lack of information when making product decisions and also the effectivness that new features and changes have.

I like the breadth, it has very complete tools, I especially like the user review and pathfinder.
What do you dislike about the product?
A qualitative tool is still needed to complement user experience analyses. Could provide screen recordings and surveys
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We usually solve the flow dropdown conversion and also the combined user analysis of the flow, but it's all in the hypothesis area because we don't know why, we just know that something happens.

I am a Ux researcher, please make qualitative analysis tools!
Easy and Insightful
What do you like best about the product?
Segmentation, Funnel analysis, adding and updating new events and also user lookup.
What do you dislike about the product?
Cannot see more than 90+ days of data and user behavior.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude is helping me to see the day-to-day data easily and to improve my product based on the data. Easy to define and add new events.

Amplitude is one of the best analytics tools which helps any product manager to look and analyze the data easily.
Simple data visualisations have never been this easy
What do you like best about the product?
The easy to use interface makes finding data points very simple. This enables other stake holders to query information themselves as well, without the need to run SQL scripts, etc
What do you dislike about the product?
Some features are missing for my usecase. For example, alerts, although very useful, can only be set at an hourly rate. I needed more immediate alerts. On alerts, I am not able to set more than one condition, This makes it impossible to remove outliers from these alerts, decreasing the utility of the alerts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Looking at events and data very quickly without needing to query makes it possible for all stakeholders to be data driven and independent. This leaves more time for analysts to spend on analyses and not simple data reporting.

What do you like best about the product?
I love that it's just so easy to use and get insights from.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not much. The keep adding cool features which is great. Though it might be nice if I was able to more easily pull info from other proprietary systems.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me understand everything about my users, and how they use my product.
Easy to use User Analytics solution with smart defaults
What do you like best about the product?
Building Audiences & Segments is super easy, and the components you do build are easy to reuse on subsequent charts.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it were easier to pivot data for a given measurable by some cohort, segment, user activity, or attribute.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me understand where our users are succeeding with their experience in our software solution. It helps me better understand which problems I should solve first.

It's a good solution that's easy to use.
Good Analytics tool if you know what you're looking for
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is nice and easy to read. I like that I can make dashboards and notebooks so I can have every related chart easy to read in one place and share.
What do you dislike about the product?
Unless I know exactly what I'm looking for, I don't get much insight. It's difficult to really do a deep dive into users who are dropping off at a certain step. Also, the plethora or events really need to be well managed which is difficult at a large company. We have so many events right now that we dont have definitions for or know when they fire.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping us track our feature usage, user base composition, and other 'standard' metrics. This helps with knowing if our feature launches are a success, or even if we should axe any
Useful multifunctional tool, but not entirely unique in what it does
What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use for creating charts, especially when editing a chart and being able to share that easily with others. Typically I am using segmentation and funnel charts.
What do you dislike about the product?
The number of charts that I have has gotten unreasonably large. To the point where I'm sure I've made duplicates. It has become unwieldy to use at times, and would like something that informs me that I have built a chart that is similar before committing completely to one.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Understanding what my users are enjoying using and what they are not enjoying. It's also been great at illustrating a user journey and what is the most impactful features for my own users.

Heavily enforce the usage of the Govern feature otherwise it'll get messy.
