What do you like best about the product?
The ease of switching from funnel to segmentation and to flow to understand the customer behaviour within product experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
The sharing capabilities especially with cohorts is limited and the ability to create a cohort from a report and share is not allowed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We understand how our customers are using our products and allow us to go deep with insights and understanding the abandonment occuring.

Fast way to convert insights into action

What do you like best about the product?
What is really helpful is the way to create a custom event based on others. This feature helps me to quickly understand user behavior based on the different use cases of my product.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great to have a native event for sign-in. Now I could check active events to understand user engagement but some of those events are part of the onboarding and is complicated to distinguish between not onboarded users and acquire ones.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Since we are implementing other platforms to concentrate data and analysis, Amplitude Analytics is helping me understand user behaviors faster and decide which experiment I should prioritize while the team is implementing other tools.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Native tracking for user taps would be great to make a micro-events analysis without all the work required to tag every component.

What do you like best about the product?
The first thing that caught my attention, positively, was the interface because it is very organized and divided into many useful functions, the design is very innovative and creative. I find it interesting that the creation of graphics is very simple and useful, we can perform many tasks in a specific way without the need to complicate ourselves when developing them. Another thing that I like about this software is that it works immediately, all the tasks that you execute will be reflected at the moment, and this facilitates the work of the analysis when a chart a being created.
On the other hand, Amplitude is a tool that can be used to share information with other companies, regardless of whether they are analyzed or not, this is a plus because other similar software does not have this function. Finally, Amplitude puts at your disposal several types of graphs that will make it easier for you to read the data.
What do you dislike about the product?
Analytics has worked very well for me but there are some things I don't like:
- I can't perform lower level analyses.
- When creating a graph you have to continue all the steps, that is, if I start with a graph already advanced, I have to start from the beginning anyway.
- Does not keep a count of users.
- I have never been able to redefine or group values of a parameter, so if I have a date parameter, I cannot group it by dow, nor can I do it manually.
- In a funnel, you have to create several things separately, this is a bit annoying.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Thanks to this software I have obtained many benefits, one of them is that we no longer need to transfer the data that we have in Amplitude to other external AB testing software, we do everything directly in Amplitude. In addition, we can see the number of users that enter and where we lose them, thanks to this we can improve our work.
Likewise, since we have started using this software, our work has been developing in a very positive way, we have learned a lot, gained more experience, solve work problems efficiently and quickly, and finally, we give our clients the best result.

Product-focussed UI provides great guiderails for PM/PO roles

What do you like best about the product?
I like that the UI is very focused on the Product Owner and Product Manager roles, with specific chart types (such as funnel) for PM questions. I like the persistent URLs that allow chart edits and versions to be shared without even needing to be saved, and so edits are also persisted in the browser history. The consistent layout of chart parameters is easy to learn and means you can quickly learn enough basics to get simple charts and questions answered. The Notebooks feature is great for helping to present an analytics investigation.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like clearer guidance on instrumentation, and although the Govern interface (for defining event taxonomies) is useful we haven't had time to use it fully. Some of the more advanced charts can be hard to interpret into easy to understand stakeholder insights: stickiness and retention can be hard to explain for example.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping us to investigate customer behaviour and socialise our hypotheses and learnings amongst our stakeholder group. It's giving POs and PMs more confidence in their prioritisation decisions, with a data basis for decision making.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Have good engineering support in place and agree on how to instrument consistently across teams. Use the Govern interface to plan and test your event schema.

What do you like best about the product?
Once you've instrumented your events, its so easy to get meaningful insights via Amplitude. I am able to see a lot of advance analytics that once would take me hours in SQL in a matter of minutes with Amplitude!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish i could see things historically as you could do with Pendo. Of course, you need to properly instrument your events as well. Once that is established tho, its smooth sailing,
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
They are allowing me to see advance product analytics such as stickiness, retention, funnel analysis, engagement matrixes and more in a matter of minutes. Makes my job that much easier.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the easy way for setting-up A/B tests and analysises. For marketeers and product managers a great way to get fast and easy feedback on experiments and activities on your platform. Fast learning supported.
What do you dislike about the product?
You still need developers to add events on all relevant activities you want to measure.

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the speed and flexibility of Amplitude. The majority of product questions can be answered through dashboards, which are super-intuitive and fast to build and understand. Furthermore, they provide an effective way to download the data to our own S3 for more rigorous tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not really easy (especially for the new team members) to understand how the events are working if there is no clear explanation behind each of them (hand-made).
We still have to build and maintain event maps on our own. Would be great if such event maps (basically event descriptions + screenshots + connections between events) could be made through Amplitude.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main problem is to understand what different users do in the app and how they do it. Having a profound analytical platform is the core of any product success.

What do you like best about the product?
The simplicity of creating a report and the fact that you can very easily share reports with colleagues (new link for every change)

It's way easier to use compared to Google Analytics.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because of the setup of Amplitude, sometimes you miss the tracking of every page by default. This is something we need to keep in mind.

The notebooks are also not very user friendly yet. Examples: Screenshots cannot be resized, you have to work in HTML and it's not easy to connect a notebook to an AB-Test.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about the product?
I really love Amplitude, it helps me to do quick analysis and follow my data in real time

An improvement point is being able to export the data at a granular level per user. Example: Average session time per user

Realtime data and easy data aggregation, it's really easy to build funnels in minutes where I would spend 10x more time building a dataset
