Amplitude fills all the needs I have when it comes to data analysis.
What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful thing about Amplitude are the custom functions and dashboards. Thanks to these tools, I can track whatever I need in our product to deliver results to my company.
What do you dislike about the product?
The thing I dislike the most about Amplitude is how it sometimes becomes laggy, most of the time without a specific reason, I can use a ton of features in a chart and have it in seconds, and sometimes a simple chart takes minutes to entirely load.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Amplitude to make AB tests reviews about our product. This helps us to take insightful decisions and maximize the benefits of each of them, without having big downsides.
Fits all our self-service analytics needs and then some!
What do you like best about the product?
We can easily train up folks to ask their own data questions and quickly generate the type of chart they need to answer it, then share those insights with others. There are more advanced features for those that know how to use them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Waiting on some more tabular readouts, and there is still a bit of a learning curve for new people understanding the platform and available events.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can now define questions and success metrics before launching a new feature, product, or campaign, then get results very quickly to start making improvements right away.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Understand what your company KPIs are so you can lead everyone to the right chart types
Quick way to get results and create dashboards and reports in the same platform.
What do you like best about the product?
The easy way to create the dashboards, in my area is very necessary to create funnels and Amplitude is very helpful for this. Is different vs others competitors in the way that Amplitude is easier to use and interactive.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be great to download the information massively (for many campaigns) in just one consult not just chart by chart, in my everyday work I need to capture manually the results of the funnels one bye one, if there's a functionality for get it in a excel for many campaigns it would be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The results for our campaigns in our app and to know which campaigns are working better and having better results. Financially could be that we are focusing better our campaigns for the stores that make sense.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Look for the tutorials to know new features of Amplitude and get better analysis.

Ease of scale throughout the company is super important, as is the learning curve of the product

Adjusting our Events / Properties could be simpler (for someone with no knowledge of backend engineering and codebases)

Retention, Key Events, Data democratisation
Nice selection of charts, quite eye-catchy. A little cumbersome to use for a new comer

Quite a wide variety of charts available to select from and can show some nice details/ insights about events.
What do you dislike about the product?
Entering each event separately and typing each on out can be cumbersome. It could be made easier to enter new event filters

I am looking to track click-through-rates and usage patterns, funnel metrics. The insights are pretty easy on the eyes
An industrial engineering undergraduate experience using Amplitude Analytics
What do you like best about the product?
I am currently an undergraduate and my first time using amplitude is during internship. As an Industrial Engineering undergraduate, I am amazed on how easy collecting data by amplitude for an application product
What do you dislike about the product?
load time. I am not sure if it is because the amount of data in our amplitude account that is too much, or it is because of the amplitude server itself.

as a product management intern, I mostly use amplitude to support the development ideas by providing some data insight like CVR, CTR, etc.

Ease of use, many options and quite intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lack of options in some points, such as adding text boxes and titles when generating dashboards (this is very necessary to be able to generate clear dashboards for business areas that do not have to be experts in the subject). Lack of configuration at some points, such as excluding certain events in some graphs.

Amplitude is great, but one thing I want is including AND logic

Amplitude is very intuitive; I can build reports easily and quickly. They also have been releasing super useful functionality like Forecasting!

Amplitude does not have AND logic -- e.g. % of users that do X AND Y (currently only have X OR Y logic).

How our users are behaving -- in-month adoption, activation, and retention. Also forecasting to see what are good adoption goals at end of year.
