Effective and Easy to use product analytics tool
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to track and analyze multiple events simultaneously across various user segments. Makes product analysis interesting and effective.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes we see inaccuracy in data tracked by amplitude and the one stored in our databases. Also, sometimes creating use cases gets difficult as well.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are mainly using it for our daily product analytics. It helps in keeping an eye on product performance and leakages occurring in the user journey.

Just use it
Great tool for analyzing huge sets of data and also see them change in real time
What do you like best about the product?
1) Review the data flowing from the segment in real-time
2) The charts displayed also change according to the changes in data
3) Easier to change the legends in the charts, which makes it very easy to present it to the audience

What do you dislike about the product?
1) Some of the places we cannot change the legends in funnel analysis
2) In group by clause, while using event segmentation, there should be more options for arranging the data (ascending or descending) depending on the numbers. I have submitted a ticket for the same
3) Recently, Amplitude deleted the color schemes. The earlier color schemes for charts were better and intuitive too. We have submitted a ticket for the same too.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are trying to figure out the retention, user portfolio, and the aha moments for a product designed by my firm.
We check what caused churn or what causes users to stay and use the product. The different kinds of chart answer all the different questions that the teams have.

An analytics tool that's allowed us to do more than ever before.

Amplitude integrates seamlessly with our tech stack helping us to hyper-target customers.
What do you dislike about the product?
Selecting events/building cards could be simpler.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to build predictive cohorts in Amplitude to better target customers in Braze to do more high-value activities.
Great tool for growth analytics.
What do you like best about the product?
Great free tier for quick analysis and awesome paid tier for deeper analysis with a lot of helping features.
What do you dislike about the product?
It could have some of the best-paid features in the free tier as a limited tryout for people to test and see what they are losing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a Growth Product Manager, it helps me a lot in my daily work with metrics dashboards, quick funnel analysis, and in-depth filtering.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you're in PLG ditch everything and move to amplitude.
Amplitude is easy to use data tracking platform.
What do you like best about the product?
I can quickly generate charts and share the links with my teammates. n "Active Engaged User" chart which is a critical KPI for our app; we use this chart on the Content, Marketing, Growth team's main dashboards.
What do you dislike about the product?
The data source is only mobile-based. I can't add my data from my SQL base. Also as I am a Jr, sometimes the UI is hard to understand all features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dynamic dashboards are handy. I can add charts with an + icon and customize them for different seasons' needs. Also, you can use any chart on every dashboard. For example, we made an "Active Engaged User" chart which is a critical KPI for our app; we use this chart on the Content, Marketing, Growth team's main dashboards.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
UI is sometimes so complicated. If there is an info button for features, it will be helpful for Juniors like me :) Amplitude has great documentation for its features, but it does not easy to find them; maybe a "?" icon will simplify accessing them. Tagging special events is also complicated. If there will be a calendar feature and label the day and events, it will be amazing. We generate different content for engaged our users and could not see it easily on dashboards. Besides, I prefer adding headings on my dashboards different sections like "bla bla bla features reports" "user reports" etc. We are using main dashboards for every team, which are opened every day on their one browser tab and are checked regularly; it is complicated to find the correct section mentioned at the meetings. I mean, I want to make dashboard UI like Google Colab or Jupyter Notebook.
Intuitive user interface
What do you like best about the product?
I barely needed to read the documentation. Their buttons were intuitive—the ones for creating new charts and workspaces were just there. Pivoting the graphs on various axes was easy too. It was quick to create my first workspace.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard for my teammates to find the charts unless they pin it. I wish I could design how their entire workspace looked like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Seeing user retention and usage data.
Perfect product analytics platform for product managers
What do you like best about the product?
At our company, we used to use Google Analytics to manage user events. It never worked well, GA is cluttered, and building custom analysis was laborious. So we decided to look for another tool to do this job, and we found Amplitude ,our experience with it is a way better.
You can easily measure all the common product metrics using the pre-built charts they have on their platform. And If there is anything specific you need, the level of customization supported in the analysis is amazing, you can even build charts using formulas.

What do you dislike about the product?
The UI fell a little bit outdated, it doesn't hinder the usability but I think that they can improve. Besides that there is nothing I dislike about this product; I really enjoy it!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Amplitude to do user behavior analytics. Because it is easy to configure and even easier to build plots, we become faster to do our everyday analysis this made our company more data-driven and improved our decision making
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Use it with analytics.js, a javascript library that helps manage user events.
Amplitude helps us run product analytics on a daily basis to improve our user experience
What do you like best about the product?
We can easily and very quickly analyze almost anything in the user journey/experience.
The flexibility and variety of charts is really helpful to start digging into the behavior of our users in the app and understand what works well, what need to be improved, etc..
The interface is super easy to understand and use, and in really no time we can produce any kind of analysis.

What do you dislike about the product?
The full version is rather expensive, especially for early-stage startups. Although we made use of the full version during our first year, to be honest, that was not the period when we needed it most. Additionally, it would be very helpful to have an onboarding process in Amplitude when first starting out, so we could learn the best ways to use it—such as properly tagging the app and organizing information right from the start.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Any new app release we do, we can analyze the impact on our top user metrics and iterate again and again. It really helps us improve our user engagement and retention from one version to the next one.
We can also easily identify roadblocks in our user journey and by digging further we can go really to the root cause of this.
Also with all integration we can really caputure the full journey: from source of acquisition to the revenue generated by the user.
