Amplitude is an awesome platform to monitor que main metrics of your business such as conversion.
What do you like best about the product?
Measure events of features. For example, for every feature is possible to conduct A/B tests to valida an idea.
What do you dislike about the product?
The graphs and filters are not flexible enough.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The most important usage is to validate features.

What do you like best about the product?
I really like how every little change to a view is linkable/shareable with my colleagues. This makes diving into something with someone over Slack, for example, easy as we can constantly share back and forth our own copies of charts as an investigation progresses. The tool responds to all of these changes very fast. I also like the "Formulas" feature that allows me to trend custom calculations. Diving deep into the paths of individual users can be really useful sometimes too.
What do you dislike about the product?
It took a lot of getting used to after using Adobe Analytics and defining segments seems very different. The tool is really best for TRENDING data over time. If you want to conduct analysis but not trended, it can be clunky or require exporting and doing spreadsheet work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've been able to improve customer experience by being able to discover and measure volumes of certain error events occurring for users during the journey. This has helped us find points of friction.
Data driven for everyone
What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude makes it easy to create graphs and understand the use of our platform with quick steps and no need to be a data expert. I do believe Amplitude demystified data for our company!
What do you dislike about the product?
We do miss some advanced analytical tools, such as counts inside Properties values and allowing extra aggregations of data, adding a few more query only features to easily create graphs would be a breakthrough to reduce more and more the dependency on data teams to advanced visualizations.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Understanding funnel conversions; the impact of communications on the engagement with our products. The biggest benefit is being able to get the data with 3 clicks and not depending and overloading the BI team with queries and dashboards, as the Product Lead can get the insights myself.
Great option for cross-functional use
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Amplitude is easily accessible for everyone on our team - not just the data engineers. I can quickly build a chart to understand our customers without pulling in other team members.
What do you dislike about the product?
Our onboarding process with Amplitude wasn't great, and subsequently, we spent a lot of time setting up our workspace on our own. I also wish there was a quick and easy way to build charts to answer basic questions - similar to templates. Currently, you have to create your templates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed insight into user behavior across our app and website. Amplitude allows us to see the behavior of specific segments, understand dropoff and friction points, and consider what product and onboarding changes will have the most impact. The most significant benefit we've seen is the ability for any team member to log on, create a chart that displays user behavior, and then provide insights to the rest of the team. It has eliminated bottlenecks and indecision for us.

1. Raw sql exploration would be a great add on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use Amplitude as our first line of visualization and data exploration. It is easy for everyone in the org to comprehend and begin using, and allows us to push towards a data first org.

There is a visualization such as a chart, but not sometimes it's not enough. I often download data and make my own chart on an excel sheet.

It's a tool that help me monitor user journey and funnel conversion change over time

- easy reporting by using dashobards or notebooks

- release note feature is pretty useful (I can easily analyse my data as I know what could impact conversion)
- Amplitude adjust charts' URL with basically any change so I can share the link with my collegues and feel confident that they see exactly what I want them to see

What do you dislike about the product?
- it's rather a complex tool and requires some time to get familiar with all the features. Better integration with notion would be useful so I can see a preview of a chart (instead of taking a screenshot).

Sometimes the tool works a bit slow and I spent more time than I initially planned.

Great tool for Product Analytics
Fast and straightforward discovery tool
What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude has given me a fast and straightforward data discovery experience like never before, where I as the user don't need to worry about data integration, let alone data cleansing, hence can be more focused on building hypotheses and deriving valuable insights.
What do you dislike about the product?
As of now, integration with backend tracking data is still somewhat limited, many of the analyses thus can only rely on or based on frontend data which often not sufficient for certain use cases.

Platform discovery, user engagement, segment-base retention, funnel to funnel behavior, etc.
