Status quo for product analytics
What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude is the de facto standard for product analytics. A combination of speed, performance and great features makes it indispensable to analysts and product managers alike. It's a versatile tool for understanding segmentation, cohorts, A/B testing and funnels that no analytics org would be complete without
What do you dislike about the product?
There's little to complain about but sometimes tooltips are not the most intuitive. The product is extremely powerful but understanding where all the features exist can be difficult
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude fills in the gap of understanding user behavior and instrumentation in a way that more back-end oriented tools like Looker cannot (both in terms of effectiveness and speed)

Helping me track the influencer marketing campaign how it does on users acquisition and sales

There are sometimes discrepancies in the data
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Basically, with our app, I can see clearly how the traction we can get from the influencers camapigns

What do you like best about the product?
Richard Eckles has been super helpful for my team. He's patiently answered all our questions and helped us build the dashboards we need for the company. He's even attended weekly training sessions to help us make the most of Amplitude.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some key functionalities that are missing. For example, I can't cut the data based on 'date of month' (1st of every month etc). In addition, figuring out how to write bespoke functions seems useful, but there isn't enough documentation to enable to users to figure it out immediately.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude is allowing us to build dashboards easily, even without any data/tech expertise.

It's easy to use at the beginning because it has a lot of pre-built chart formats and types for it. It has also great tools for advanced analysis and user segmentation.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice to have the ability to rename some property events under certain circumstances. Sometimes events change and you start seeing a NONE where a new property is now.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude helps a lot to understand the impact of any experiment we run. It's also very helpful to detect possible errors or maybe some problems with the product itself.

It is very easy to manage and adapt the events and data we get directly in Amplitude. The tool is easy to use and works very well as a self-service data tool for growing companies.

The diversity of functionalities can sometimes be a bit overwhelming.

It is easy to add tracking and monitor releases, functionality and engagement of users within these functionalities. Being able to manipulate data ourselves it key in the way everyone can start making data-driven decision

What do you dislike about the product?
We cannot sync the data to our CRM tool at a particular time in a day. We can either do hourly or daily but not at say 10am of a day.

Viszualing data and segmenting cohorts.
Get deep insights in your data (even the metrics that you didn't plan)
What do you like best about the product?
The ease of setup and creating quick charts! You can also segment various details based on your application-level metrics. If you are running a Saas product without any visibility, I would highly recommend integrating Amplitude.

1. Sometimes there is some duplicate events (might be an integration issue as well).

Getting complete visibility into the adoption of the product with appropriate tagging.

What do you dislike about the product?
Performance (especially in Safari) is pretty bad — mostly on pages with multiple charts
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Understand the userbase — what machines/browsers are the users using for our app. Also converge multiple datasources into amplitude helps us better understand who uses our apps and how.

I like that you can gain valuable information about how your customers are using new product features that you are testing.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the dashboards had more integrations and sharability outside of just the embedded share.

Amplitude is solving our testing of launching new features for our product.

What do you like best about the product?
I like that I can save my reports to be able to run them quickly. I can group them by each of my accounts to have access to them in one place. I like the charts, these can be easily shared in presentations.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is a lot going on within each report and even the tool altogether. Some of the reports I question the validity of the data but I am not sure if that is the tool itself or the setup from the company side.

It allows me to easily share with my customers what their usage looks like, areas of concerns, etc
