Nice way to view the analytics events from multiple platform in one dashboard
What do you like best about the product?
It is user-friendly, easy to change the parameters. can aggregate many charts into one easily and every page has an automatically unique URL for sharing!
What do you dislike about the product?
The onboarding and first setup took me a while, when touching the chart/board that I'm not the owner it wasn't clear if my changes will override the original copy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It supports multiple platforms, I can reuse the same charts on many boards or just watch it standalone. getting weekly reports on some important metrics by email is nice too.
Helpful definitions and many options for analysis
What do you like best about the product?
Definitions on hovering, ability to change views easily
What do you dislike about the product?
Very hard to update a chart in a notebook without resaving and adding to the notebook as a new chart (should be able to just update it)

What do you dislike about the product?
Ability to export events could be made simpler
Sometimes the charts could be misleading if the events are not properly setup
You need to be aware of how the events were setup in order to properly use them

Powerful tool for teams who want to make data-driven decisions
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to deep dive into our product to find out what's working and what isn't. We move faster and make better, more confident decisions because of the information Amplitude shows us.
What do you dislike about the product?
Slow to load, buggy, seems like I get an an email from the Amplitude status checker weekly with issues
Implementation can be lengthy and learning the product can time lots of time

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The tools Amplitude gives us provide us with clean data to make critical product, marketing, and business decisions. Since we started using Amplitude our product has improved exponentially. Prior to using Amplitude, we would make semi-blind decisions based on fragmented data across several different sources. Amplitude brings it all together in a single place, providing a cohesive picture of how consumers use our product.
Not sure what to put here :)
What do you like best about the product?
The variety of different analytics options. The usability of the different features (as long as a setup is good).
Relationship with CSM and the answers I received on support tickets so far.

What do you dislike about the product?
Many interesting/critical features locked behind paywall/addons
Could think about making some best-practice recommendations part of the in-app setup process.
Some of the more exploratory features like paths or personas don't really work for me. But that might be due to our complex and non best-practice aligned setup.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Frequency of usage and time spent for different features in comparison to determine their importance for prioritization of initiatives
Tracking funnels for critical user journeys and optimizing for elements with high dropoff
A/B tests
Comparing activity of different user segments against one another and over time to find room for improvements

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure you get your setup right from the start. Invest in defining taxonomy and governance upfront.
Excellent tool, but lack of ability to save and reuse custom events is a major point of frustration
What do you like best about the product?
Creating cohorts is easy. Visualization options are intuitive, despite being limited. The dashboard functionality is very flexible, as is the template functionality. Very well thought out.
What do you dislike about the product?
Limited visualization options (pie chart is an obvious miss) and the lack of flexibility with stacked bar charts is annoying. But most of all, having to recreate custom events with each report is tedious, frustrating, and is prone to human error and inconsistent applications of events across different team members. I'd like a way to save a custom event, name it, and allow anyone on our team to use that as the sanctioned definition of that event. But as it stands now, we often end up with inconsistent definitions that have to be unwound later. Previous tools I've used had this option and I'm not clear why it's not available in an otherwise robust tool like Amplitude.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm largely using Amplitude to measure impacts of various experiments our team is running, as well as to answer ad-hoc questions that come up about user behavior. We've not yet used this to answer new questions we haven't been able to answer with other tools, but it's generally been more stable and reliable.
Good tool to understand conversion
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to build queries without any coding experience
What do you dislike about the product?
A couple of features are not intuitive and might lead to misinterpretation of data.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Funnel analysis - easy to do. Has reduced the time spent on doing these analysis and increased my productivity.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Yes would definitely recommend to early-stage startups and scaleups
Great basic tool for app analytics!
What do you like best about the product?
Amplitude's variety of charts makes it very easy to perform various analysis right off the bat
What do you dislike about the product?
The segmentation and aggregation of reports can be a little cumbersome. Would like to be able to view data in aggregate without grouping by month/day/week. Additionally, to be able to segment using historical events instead of creating a cohort each time would make our reporting a lot more efficient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Amplitude allows us to visualize our data in a way that would be far more difficult if we were pulling directly out of our database. It makes it easier to be able to visualize the user journey/event details
Very helpfull solution to quickly get insights
What do you like best about the product?
It's directly integrated with our ESP, which is convenient for reporting and deeper analysis with all the events we track on our App. It's also a good tool when analyzing A/B Test
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a bit long to understand all the different options for reporting. Also, it relies on the integration from your product team so that it can be a bit blurry for marketing users :)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As said earlier, we try to understand the behavior of our users after receiving CRM communication (Email/Push) but also understand what the benefits of our A/B tests are.
Amplitude is great
What do you like best about the product?
Advance but simple tool. Beautiful UX design and great tools for metrics.
What do you dislike about the product?
Learning curve could be hard but time worth it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting business metrics and users segmentation
